Life wasn't fair. It was a lesson everyone should learn early on. It was one that he'd certainly learned and learned well. All of his trials and tribulations piled up and weighed him down, it just served to prove how unfair things were. His family might be wealthy but that didn't mean his life was easy. It never had been. It was one trial after another.

He had pushed past all of it and now he would finally get exactly what he always wanted. What he deserved. He would get his Sophia. His hands flexed on the steering wheel as he imagined running them over her flesh. He forced them to relax and placed his hands flat against his legs and pulled his thoughts back to the present. The plans he'd been making had been coming together for so long and he knew that he was becoming impatient to finish it now that he was so close to achieving his goals. The time to bring it all together wasn't at hand yet, he needed to be patient. The conditions needed to be right.

"I need a taste. Just a small one. It couldn't hurt to have a small taste of her fear. Could it?"

A small sample would pull him back from the edge while he was waiting for the right time to swoop in and rip her life to pieces. A little smile pulled at the corners of his lips as he imagined it all in his mind's eye. The thought caused his breath to quicken and his hands flexed against his legs. Once he was through ripping her life apart she would beg to be his. This time she wouldn't callously turn her back on him and walk out of his life. She wouldn't dare.

"But I need to remain patient for a bit longer so I don't ruin it. It isn't time to get inside her head yet but it will be soon. Her fear can wait for a few more days." She would begin to wonder why the good Lord would seek to punish her. The smile that spread across his features was less than pleasant. It had been very easy to figure out her plans so he would know exactly where she'd be. People were so idiotically public about everything they did. He would follow and wait for his opportunity to strike. Then he could sit back and witness the fun of the aftermath as she fought to pull her life back together.

It was going to be so very easy. "I can't wait to see your fear, darling before I pull back and allow you a little room to breathe. I'll allow you to get your life back together." He sucked in a breath and got his erratically beating heart under control. "And when you believe that it's all over, that everything is fine, I'll return and devastate you." He reached out to stroke his fingers over the cell phone sitting on the seat beside him. It was waiting for him to put it to use. When he did he would set Sophia on the path to destruction.

"Then you'll be allmine, my love. All mine at long last."
