Chapter 68
Taehyung rushed to Hoseok's side, his heart pounding with worry. Hoseok lay motionless on the cold floor of the abandoned warehouse, his body battered and bruised, his face pale and drawn. The sacrifice he had made to save Seokjin and Jung-eon had taken a heavy toll on his body, and Taehyung feared that he might not survive.
Taehyung gently lifted Hoseok's head, cradling it in his lap. He wiped the blood from Hoseok's lips, his touch gentle and reassuring. "Hoseok," he whispered, his voice filled with concern. "Can you hear me?"
Hoseok's eyes fluttered open, a faint glimmer of consciousness returning to his gaze. He looked up at Taehyung, his lips curling into a weak smile. "Taehyung," he murmured, his voice barely audible.
"You shouldn't have done that, Hoseok," Taehyung said, his voice filled with emotion. "You shouldn't have gotten involved in Seokjin and Jungkook's battle."
Hoseok shook his head weakly. "I had to do it," he said. "I couldn't let Seokjin and Jung-eon get hurt."
Taehyung sighed, knowing that there was no point in arguing with Hoseok. He was a man of unwavering loyalty and selflessness, always willing to put the needs of others before his own.
"I know you did what you thought was right," Taehyung said, his voice filled with understanding. "But you're injured now, and I need to take care of you."
Hoseok nodded, a faint smile gracing his lips. "Thank you, Taehyung," he said. "I'm grateful for everything you've done for me."
Taehyung gently lifted Hoseok to his feet, his arms supporting his weakened body. He knew that Hoseok needed rest, but he also knew that he couldn't leave him alone in this dangerous place.
With Hoseok's arm draped over his shoulder, Taehyung made his way through the abandoned warehouse, his heart heavy with worry. He couldn't help but think of the many times Hoseok had saved him, the countless ways he had protected him from harm.
Now, it was Taehyung's turn to repay his friend's loyalty, to be there for him in his time of need. He would not rest until Hoseok was safe and recovered, until he had repaid the debt of gratitude he owed him.
As they emerged from the warehouse, the first rays of dawn were painting the sky with hues of gold and pink, a symbol of hope and renewal. Taehyung looked into Hoseok's eyes, his gaze filled with determination.
Together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead, their bond stronger than ever before. They would heal, they would grow, and they would emerge from this darkness stronger and more resilient.
Seokjin's eyes burned with a righteous fury as he glared at Jungkook, his voice trembling with emotion. "You're a coward, Jungkook," he spat, his words laced with disdain. "You hide behind your virtual reality, manipulating and tormenting others because you're too weak to face them in the real world."
Jungkook's face contorted in anger, his eyes narrowing into slits. "How dare you call me a coward!" he snarled. "I'm the one who's in control here. I'm the one who dictates the rules of this game."
"This isn't a game, Jungkook," Seokjin retorted, his voice filled with passion. "This is your twisted attempt to escape reality, to avoid confronting the consequences of your actions."
Jungkook's composure faltered for a moment, a flicker of vulnerability crossing his face. But quickly, he regained his composure, his mask of arrogance hardening once more.
"I don't need your lectures, Seokjin," he scoffed. "You're the one who betrayed me. You're the one who took my everything."
"I did what I had to do, Jungkook," Seokjin replied, his voice firm and resolute. "I couldn't stand by and watch you destroy our lives, our son's life."
Jungkook's eyes flashed with anger, his hand instinctively reaching for his weapon. But then, he paused, his gaze drawn to Seokjin's unwavering determination.
At that moment, Jungkook saw himself in Seokjin, and saw the reflection of his own pain and anger. All his doing is escaping.

Taehyung knelt beside the unconscious form of Hoseok, his heart heavy with worry and concern. The selfless sacrifice that Hoseok had made, holding off Jungkook's men to allow Seokjin and Jung-eon to escape, had left him battered and bruised, his body bearing the brunt of their ruthless pursuit.
Taehyung's hands gently traced the lines of Hoseok's face, his touch filled with tenderness and affection. He admired Hoseok's unwavering loyalty, his willingness to put himself in harm's way to protect his friends. But he also knew that Hoseok's involvement in the conflict between Seokjin and Jungkook had taken a toll on him, both physically and emotionally.
As Taehyung watched over Hoseok, his mind drifted back to their shared past, their friendship forged in the fires of youth and shared experiences. He recalled their laughter, their dreams, their unwavering support for one another until he broke his heart, now―
Taehyung knew that Hoseok had always been protective of Seokjin, ever since their childhood days. And when Seokjin's world had crumbled, Hoseok had been there to pick up the pieces, to offer a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold.
But Taehyung also knew that Hoseok had been deeply affected by the rift between Seokjin and Jungkook. He saw the pain in Hoseok's eyes, the weight of worry that he carried on his shoulders.
Taehyung wished that Hoseok could stay out of the conflict, that he could protect himself from the dangers that lurked around them. But he knew that Hoseok would never abandon his friends, that his loyalty and compassion would always compel him to help those in need.
With a sigh, Taehyung gently placed a blanket over Hoseok, his heart filled with gratitude for his friend's unwavering support. He vowed to protect Hoseok, to shield him from further harm, to help him find peace amidst the chaos that surrounded them.
As the first rays of dawn began to pierce the darkness, Taehyung watched over Hoseok, his heart filled with hope for a brighter future. He knew that the journey ahead would be difficult, but he also knew that they would face it together, their bond stronger than ever before.

Seokjin knelt amidst the desolate emptiness of the virtual room, his heart heavy with despair. The cruel illusion that Jungkook had conjured had shattered his hopes, leaving him trapped in a desolate void. He had fought with every ounce of strength, but Jungkook's virtual world had proven to be an impenetrable fortress.
As he stared into the nothingness that surrounded him, Seokjin felt the weight of his failures pressing down upon him. He had failed to protect his son, Jung-eon, from Jungkook's clutches. He had failed to escape this digital prison. He had failed to find a way to break free from Jungkook's twisted games.
"If you want to kill me or make me suffer. I'm ready to take it, as long as I see my son."
The darkness threatened to consume him, to extinguish the last flicker of hope that remained within his heart. But then, he thought of Jung-eon, his son's innocent face, his infectious laughter, his unwavering love.
Jung-eon was his light, his reason for fighting, his beacon of hope in the darkest of times. He couldn't give up on his son, not when Jung-eon needed him most.
With a renewed surge of determination, Seokjin rose to his feet, his heart pounding with a newfound resolve. He would not succumb to despair. He would not give up on Jung-eon.
He closed his eyes, focusing his mind on his son's presence, on the love that connected them, on the unwavering bond that they shared. He felt Jung-eon's energy, his spirit, his unwavering belief in his father.
With Jung-eon's love as his guiding light, Seokjin began to explore the virtual world with renewed determination. He searched for any anomaly, any weakness in Jungkook's digital fortress, any way to break free from this virtual prison.
"Appa,"
Seokjin couldn't believe his eyes as he watched Jung-eon running towards him, his laughter echoing through the desolate virtual room. The sight of his son, so real and alive, filled Seokjin's heart with a surge of joy and hope that he thought he had lost forever.
But as Jung-eon drew closer, a flicker of doubt crossed Seokjin's mind. Could this be another cruel illusion, another trick conjured by Jungkook's twisted mind?
"Appa!"
With a trembling heart, Seokjin closed his eyes, his mind struggling to distinguish between reality and illusion. He could feel Jung-eon's presence, his warmth, his tiny hands clutching his own.
But he couldn't be sure. He had been deceived before, his hopes cruelly shattered by Jungkook's virtual manipulations.
Seokjin opened his eyes, his gaze fixed on Jung-eon's innocent face. He saw no trace of illusion, no hint of deception. Only the pure, unconditional love that reflected in his son's eyes.
"Jung-eon my baby,"
A wave of relief washed over Seokjin, his heart overflowing with gratitude. His son was real. He was safe.
"Appa,"
"Jung-eon, you're real!" Seokjin embraced Jung-eon tightly, his tears of joy mingling with Jung-eon's laughter. In that moment, the darkness of the virtual prison faded away, replaced by the warmth of their reunion, the unbreakable bond of father and son.
As they held each other close, Seokjin realized that Jungkook's virtual world, despite its power to deceive, could never replicate the power of love, the strength of family, the enduring bond that connected them.
Jungkook only watched them happily reunited with each other, tears fell to his face.
"Goodbye, Seokjin and Jung-eon,"
