Chapter 52
Seokjin's eyes fluttered open, his consciousness slowly returning from the depths of sleep. He felt a heavy presence against his back, a warm embrace that sent shivers down his spine.
Despite the initial fear that gripped him, Seokjin couldn't help but recognize the familiar scent of Jungkook's cologne, the gentle rhythm of his heartbeat against Seokjin's back.
A wave of conflicting emotions washed over Seokjin. He was still reeling from the events that had transpired, the fear and pain that Jungkook had inflicted upon him. Yet, amidst the turmoil, a flicker of longing remained, a lingering remnant of the love they once shared.
Jungkook remained silent, his embrace tight, as if he were afraid of letting go. Seokjin could sense the tension in his muscles, the remnants of the anger and jealousy that had consumed him earlier.
Seokjin hesitated, torn between his desire to push Jungkook away and the yearning for the comfort he so desperately craved. In the end, he chose to remain silent, allowing Jungkook's embrace to provide a semblance of solace.
As the minutes ticked by, Seokjin felt a sense of calm wash over him. Jungkook's embrace, though unexpected, brought a sense of security, a reminder that he wasn't alone in this chaos.
Whether it was a desperate attempt to regain control or a genuine expression of affection, Jungkook's embrace held Seokjin captive, leaving him to grapple with the complex emotions that swirled within him.
Jungkook's eyes snapped open, his sleep interrupted by sudden movements from Seokjin. He tightened his grip around Seokjin's waist, his heart pounding in his chest.
"Seokjin?" Jungkook whispered, his voice laced with concern.
Seokjin stirred in his sleep, his body trembling slightly. He whimpered softly, his voice barely audible.
Jungkook's heart ached at the sound of Seokjin's distress. He knew that Seokjin was still haunted by the events that had transpired, the trauma still fresh in his mind.
Jungkook pulled Seokjin closer, his embrace enveloping the younger man's trembling form. He stroked Seokjin's hair gently, trying to soothe him.
"It's okay," Jungkook murmured, his voice soft and reassuring. "I'm here."
Seokjin gradually calmed down, his body relaxing against Jungkook's. He nuzzled into Jungkook's chest, seeking comfort in the familiar warmth.
Jungkook held Seokjin tightly, his heart filled with a mixture of guilt and protectiveness. He knew that he had caused Seokjin pain, and he regretted every moment of it.
He vowed to make amends, to do whatever it took to earn back Seokjin's trust and love. But for now, he would simply hold Seokjin close, cherishing the moments of peace amidst the storm.
Seokjin's voice trembled as he confronted Jungkook, his eyes filled with a mix of fear and determination. "Why did you do this, Jungkook?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Jungkook's eyes hardened, his jaw clenching as he met Seokjin's gaze. "I did what I had to do," he replied curtly.
"You could have killed me!" Seokjin exclaimed, his voice rising with emotion. "How could you do something so despicable?"
Jungkook scoffed, his lips curling into a sneer. "Despicable? You're the one who cheated on me, Seokjin. You're the one who betrayed me."
Seokjin's heart sank. He knew that Jungkook was still clinging to the false belief that he had been unfaithful, but he couldn't bear to argue with him any longer.
"I didn't cheat on you, Jungkook," Seokjin pleaded, his voice filled with desperation. "You have to believe me."
But Jungkook was deaf to his pleas. His mind was clouded by jealousy and anger, and he refused to listen to reason.
"You're a liar, Seokjin," Jungkook spat, his voice laced with venom. "I saw everything with my own eyes."
Seokjin's heart shattered into a million pieces. He had lost everything – his freedom, his love, his hope.
As he sank deeper into despair, Jungkook's words echoed in his mind, a constant reminder of the pain he had inflicted.
"You're mine, Seokjin," Jungkook declared, his voice filled with possessive pride. "And I'll never let you go."
Seokjin's heart pounded in his chest as he watched Jungkook approach him. He could feel the fear crawling up his spine, a cold sweat breaking out on his forehead.
Jungkook had always been not this possessive, but lately, his behavior had become increasingly erratic and obsessive. He kidnapped Seokjin. Now, Jungkook wants to claim him.
Seokjin was starting to feel trapped. He didn't want to hurt Jungkook, but he couldn't live like this anymore. He was afraid of what Jungkook might do if he ever tried to leave him.
As Jungkook got closer, Seokjin could see the dark look in his eyes. He knew that he had to do something, but he didn't know what. He was frozen in fear.
Suddenly, Jungkook lunged at Seokjin, grabbing him by the shoulders. Seokjin gasped in surprise, his eyes widening in terror.
"You're not going anywhere," Jungkook snarled. "You're mine."
Seokjin tried to pull away, but Jungkook's grip was too strong. He could feel Jungkook's hot breath on his face, his eyes burning with intensity.
"Let me go!" Seokjin cried. "Please!"
But Jungkook just laughed, a cold, cruel sound that sent shivers down Seokjin's spine.
"You're never getting away from me," Jungkook said. "You're mine forever."
Seokjin's heart sank as he heard Jungkook's words. He knew that this wasn't the Jungkook he used to know, he had fallen in love with five years ago. This Jungkook was a stranger, a man consumed by obsession and possessiveness.
The memory of Jungkook's betrayal five years ago flashed back in Seokjin's mind. Jungkook is not a good husband for him. They are in marriage life for almost three years. He doens't undestand Jungkook action now.
Seokjin had never fully recovered from Jungkook's betrayal. It had left a deep scar on his heart, a wound that had never truly healed. And now, here was Jungkook, back in his life, claiming him as his own.
Seokjin felt a surge of anger rising within him. How could Jungkook have the audacity to show up after all this time, after what he had done? How could he act like they were still in love, like nothing had happened?
"You can't just come back into my life like this," Seokjin said, his voice shaking with emotion. "You betrayed me, Jungkook. You broke my heart."
Jungkook's eyes narrowed, a dangerous glint coming into them. "I'm not the same person I was five years ago," he said. "I've changed."
"I don't care who you've become," Seokjin said. "You're still the same person who betrayed me. And I will never forgive you for that."
Jungkook's face contorted in rage. "You'll regret saying that," he growled.
Seokjin stood his ground, refusing to back down. He was no longer the scared, vulnerable boy he had been five years ago. He was stronger now, wiser, and he would not be intimidated by Jungkook.
"I'm not afraid of you anymore," Seokjin said. "You can't control me."
Jungkook's eyes flashed with fury. He raised his hand, as if to strike Seokjin, but then paused. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.
"You'll see," Jungkook said, his voice low and menacing. "I'll make you mine again."
And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving Seokjin standing there alone, his heart pounding in his chest.
