Chapter 45

As Hoseok entered the shop, his heart sank at the sight of Seokjin slumped in a chair, his shoulders shaking with sobs. The shop was eerily silent, the only sound the soft echo of Seokjin's muffled cries.

Hoseok approached Seokjin cautiously, his footsteps muffled by the thick carpet. He knelt down beside Seokjin, his heart aching for his husband.

"Seokjin," he said softly, his voice filled with concern. "What happened?"

Seokjin looked up at Hoseok, his eyes red and swollen from tears. He took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure.

"Jungkook was here," he said, his voice trembling.

Hoseok's heart clenched. He had known that Jungkook would eventually find his way back to Seokjin, but he had hoped that it wouldn't be under such circumstances.

"What did he say?" Hoseok asked gently.

Seokjin wiped away a tear that had trickled down his cheek. "He wants to make amends," he said. "He says he regrets what he did, and he wants to win me back."

Hoseok nodded, his expression unreadable. He knew that Seokjin's heart was still torn between Jungkook and him, and he didn't want to pressure him into a decision.

"What do you want to do, Seokjin?" he asked softly.

Seokjin looked at Hoseok, his eyes filled with uncertainty. "I don't know," he confessed. "I'm still trying to figure it out."

Hoseok placed a reassuring hand on Seokjin's shoulder. "Take your time, Seokjin," he said. "There's no rush. I'll be here for you, no matter what you decide."

Seokjin leaned into Hoseok's embrace, seeking comfort in his warmth. He knew that he was lucky to have Hoseok in his life, a man who loved him unconditionally and supported him through thick and thin.

As Hoseok held Seokjin close, he made a silent vow to protect him from any further pain. He knew that the road ahead would be difficult, but he was determined to face it together, side by side, as they always had.

Hoseok gently guided Seokjin to the couch, offering him a soothing cup of warm coffee. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, a comforting scent that seemed to calm Seokjin's frayed nerves.

As Seokjin sipped his coffee, Hoseok sat across from him, his gaze filled with concern. "Seokjin," he began softly, "I know this is a lot to take in. But you need to make a decision soon."

Seokjin nodded, his eyes downcast. He knew that Hoseok was right. He couldn't keep living in this limbo, torn between his past and his present. Furthermore, he had to decide whether to stay in the Philippines with Hoseok and Jung-eon or return to Seoul and confront Jungkook.

The thought of leaving Jung-eon filled Seokjin's heart with dread. He couldn't imagine his life without his son, without the joy and laughter that he brought into his world. But he also couldn't bear the thought of living a lie, of pretending that everything was okay when it wasn't.

Hoseok watched Seokjin's face, understanding the turmoil that was raging within him. He knew that this was a decision that Seokjin had to make on his own, but he was there to support him no matter what he chose.

"If you decide to stay," Hoseok said, his voice gentle and reassuring, "we'll make it work. We'll build a life here in the Philippines, a life where you and Jung-eon can be happy."

Seokjin's eyes welled up with tears. Hoseok's unwavering love and support meant the world to him.

"And if you decide to go back to Seoul," Hoseok continued, "I'll be there for you every step of the way. I'll support you in whatever you do."

Seokjin looked at Hoseok, his heart overflowing with gratitude. He knew that he was blessed to have Hoseok in his life.

"Thank you, Hoseok," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "I don't know what I would do without you."

Hoseok smiled warmly, his eyes reflecting the love he felt for Seokjin. "You're welcome, Seokjin. I'll always be here for you."

Seokjin took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind. He knew that he had a difficult decision to make, but he was determined to make the right one. He would not let Jungkook dictate his future, not anymore.

The conversation with Seokjin had left Jungkook fuming, his mind consumed by a burning desire for revenge. He couldn't accept Seokjin's rejection, his pride wounded, his heart consumed by bitterness.

As he sat in his darkened office, a sinister idea took root in his mind. He would use Seokjin's parents, their love for their son, to manipulate him, to force him to bend to his will.

With a cold smile, Jungkook reached for his phone, his fingers dancing across the screen as he dialed Seokjin's parents' number. His voice was smooth and persuasive, his words carefully chosen to evoke their concern and worry.

He claimed to have found Seokjin, to have stumbled upon him in a remote part of the country. He painted a picture of Seokjin in danger, living in squalor and isolation, desperately needing their help.

Seokjin's parents, their hearts filled with fear and disbelief, listened intently as Jungkook spun his web of lies. They had no way of verifying his claims, no way of knowing whether their son was indeed in danger.

Jungkook, sensing their desperation, pressed his advantage further. He offered to help them reunite with their son, to guide them to the place where he had seen him.

But he set a condition – Seokjin had to come to him.

Seokjin's parents, torn between their love for their son and their fear for his safety, reluctantly agreed. They contacted Seokjin, urging him to meet Jungkook, to clear up the matter and ensure his safety.

He knows that Seokjin will be caught off guard by his parents' sudden plea, and is hesitant. He knew that Jungkook was up to something, that he was using his parents as pawns in his twisted game. But he couldn't ignore their concern, couldn't bear the thought of them believing the lies Jungkook had told.

Seokjin agreed to meet Jungkook. He knew that he was walking into a trap, but he was determined to protect his parents, to shield them from Jungkook's manipulations.

Jungkook played with those ideas, but he had a more sinister idea than before.

"You want to play with fire, Seokjin... I'll give you hell."
