Chapter 23

"This is our activities list within the 30 days we will be together." Seokjin explained as he handed Jungkook the digital calendar. (A/n: All hail to google calendar for notifications)

Jungkook read the content according to their schedule at work and activities. Seokjin decide to return in Jinnie's Kitchen as a head manager. Seokjin's workload decreases when he resigns to 2 Seok.

Jungkook files for a 1 week vacation to the 3 day event in the village, afterwards, he and Jimin will go to Jeju island for vacation before he goes back to work in Los Angeles. Sometimes things don't seem to work out the way you like. He had 5 days of vacation left before he went back to work. Unfortunately, Seokjin and Jungkook only stayed for 2 days in the village while the other was finding Hoseok.

They don't want to travel outside the country, so they decide to start a night date under the bridge.

Both couples went to a convenience store. Beforehand, they decide to compete for the best snack they'll buy.

After 20 minutes of searching. Seokjin bought 2 creamy carbonara samyang, 2 pocky, a dozen snacks, 2 cups of Jin Ramen because of the same name as his. 1 pack of dried seaweed, 8 mozzarella cheese sticks and 10 slices of cheese in 1 pack lastly 8 bottles of kombucha.

Jungkook had a challenge look at Seokjin basket, he showed. A box pepperoni pizza which made the latter laugh but in the basket was a pack of melon cake, 4 ramyun with dozens of mozzarella sticks, 10 small packs of cheese flavored seaweed, a sesame oil, eggs, beef jerky, 3 box of pepero, churros, 5 corn dog also 5 mozzarella corn dog also a dozen snacks.

"Jungkook, are you going to eat all of it?" Seokjin had a doubt that Jungkook will never finish the whole thing.

"Actually, we are going to share it, that's what the couple do right?" The latter nodded, re-calling himself that this is only for 30 days, afterwards, this all memory that he'll have for the rest of his life.

"I cannot believe you are more competitive than I thought." Seokjin commented and both hit each other while laughing. (A/n: true nature of Jinkook 😂)

They sat on the grass under the bridge, mesmerizing the beauty of the stars in the night while sharing food.

In the morning, Seokjin woke up earlier and turned his head. He has a muscular back of his husband. Then, he realized that, it's only for 30 days, afterwards, he can marry Jimin.

Jungkook woke up to the smell of the food as usual, he didn't bother to wake up and eat. He didn't take a vacation after he got married, that's why his father granted him a week long vacation. He is grateful that Seokjin makes his vacation worthwhile.

They went to an amusement park when Seokjin was a child, his mother always bringing him to carnivals, however, his father was always busy at work. Same with Jungkook, both of his parents are busy at work. He only went to an amusement park with Taehyung.

Both of them enjoy the rides, food and games. Then, Seokjin saw a couple in the darts where you can win a stuffed toy. He attempted to shoot the balloon and win.

Seokjin was beyond happy by winning a rabbit doll. Then he gazes at Jungkook.

"Here you should have this," He handed the stuff to Jungkook and went again to a game where he won some stuffed toys.

Jungkook tirelessly sighed as he saw a bunch of winning stuffed toys behind the car. Seokjin put a huge hamster soft stuffed toy in the car.

"How did you get that?!" Jungkook, beyond shocked, saw his husband reply with a smile on his face.

"I won the grand prize. You see, every week ends. Hoseok and I went to an amusement park just to win a prize. Plus, these toys are for the children. They're gonna be happy when they see the dolls for them." The latter blissfully while putting the doll into the back of the car.

Jungkook sadly said, "But, this relationship will last until the end of the month." Seokjin's face becomes downcast, finishing by putting the rest of the toys into the car.

"I know," Jungkook felt guilty, but it's true.

Afterward, the ride was eerily quiet. Seokjin stares at the car window, looking at the light of the city.

As they arrived home, Seokjin took all the stuff from the car. The raven attempted to help him, but he declined. He's thinking that the latter is mad at him―

For what, For reminding him.

Seokjin open a 2 room that Jungkook never try to enter. He was suprise that, the room filled with children's stuff. Both rooms have 2 genders. One for the female and other for the male. The latter put the stuff toy in separately.

Jungkook never realized that, while Seokjin planned for pregnancy, in their marriage relationship they only have sex once a year. Unfortunately, they use condoms. He doesn't want to leave any responsibility for Seokjin.

He just silently watch him, guilt eating him alive. Jungkook decided to went to his room. The maid's room which, comfortable double bed size than the king size bed upstairs.

Now, the maid's room has become a gloomy place. It's filled with Jimin's memories with him. Jungkook sighed and lay himself to the bed.

The sad face of Seokjin sat on his mind, tears came out.

"I'm sorry Seokjin,"

Meanwhile,

Seokjin felt the raven already leave. He knows, because the door of the maid's room is creaking. He purposely put the creak sound to the door, so the sound acknowledges whether Jungkook leaves or not in his room.

Afterwards, he burst into tears. Hugging the pink rabbit, he worked hard to win the doll, actually, he paid the shop owner, so he can have the doll. Just to give to his husband.

Seokjin lean his back on the wall, looking at the both room. Imagining, the sound of the small steps footsteps, loud giggles, fighting and laughing from children, he could wish to have.

Its possible to have but, the person... he love to share those imaginations will fade next month. Those imaginations will stay in his imaginations.

It will never happens.
