Magic scares normal humans. That's Just how it's always been, that's how it will always be, so those with magic are usually forced to live in the shadows, or they can be a witch or wizard in public, but still hide in such a way people don't believe they are anything more than a faker or a psychic. For what else is their to do? Take over the world? Why bother? Humans are resilient, and in the end, Magics will either die out, or humans will. Time can only tell. But until then, those with magic will be forced to live in hiding, until one day, they can come out and be relied upon by humans, and show their greatness to the world once again!
