🔻Why did you decided to become a judge in AFO?:
Isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit ay dahil wala naman akong ginagawa ngayon. May reason is not enough pero gusto kong magig honest sa lahat. Marami pa namang rason tulad ng dahil gusto kong nagbabasa ng stories at nagbibigay ng sarili kong opinyon sa stories nila, at meron rin namang dahil ay nakakapagbigay siya ng malaking value of ideas na nalilikom. Reading stories has became my source of happiness at the moment. Depending on the story, I could feel emotions na may iba't ibang flow.
🔻Struggles you encounter in judging a story: Kulang sa Appreciation. The only thing, I struggle the most is appreciation sa taong binigyan ko ng judgement sa story. Sometimes kasi na gusto ko ring malaman ang feedback ng taong binigyan ko ng pointers dahil gusto kong malaman kung binasa ba nila ito, may mali ba akong nasabi, may mga dapat ba akong malaman tungkol sa story mo?
🔻Message: Just keep writing and believe in yourself. Everyone has a potential. No one can tell you not to write, other than yourself. God is with everyone, and so with you.

Why you decide to be a judge of AFO?

*I decide to be a judge of AFO because I want to share my little knowledge in writing especially to those writers who are eager to learn.

What are the struggles you encounter in judging a story?

*None, so far. Because most of the participants who joined the contest wherein I was one of the judges were contented and even thankful for the comments and suggestions I've given to them to improve their works. Maybe sometimes, they were disappointed to the results but I tried my best to explain to them why their entries didn't win, I even talked to them in private just to ease their pains and disappointments in themselves so in the end, they were inspired to write again (I think).

Message to the contestants: Do not join the contest, if you can't bear the constructive criticisms and opinions of the judges.

Be humble. Be open-minded. Be a writer who are eager for the knowledge like wolves who are hungry for foods.
