CHAPTER FIVE

After the attack on D'artagnan, they all rushed back to HQ. D'artagnan immediately grabbed her go-bag and rushed down to the garage where their car was waiting. She picked up a set of keys from the wall and walked over to a dark gray Audi Q2. She opened the boot and threw in her bag just as Porthos walked into the garage.

" Here, your first set of passports are in there. As well as tickets to you first destination." He told her handing over a small black over-the-shoulder handbag. "It also has around one thousand pounds to help you on the first leg."

" Thank you, Porthos." D'artagnan said taking the bag and walking around to the driver's side and putting the bag in the passenger's well.

" You need to head to the usual airport and go through the set up." Porthos told her and D'artagnan looked up to him, he stood an easy foot taller. "Have you decided on which safehouse to use yet?"

"Yes. I think it's the best choice." She told him before turning to dip down into the car again to check under her seat for her handgun. Happy it was still there she stood back up just as the Prince and Aramis walked into the garage.

"Are we all ready?" Aramis asked quickly as D'artagnan nodded to him. Aramis took the Prince's duffle bag and put it into the boot along with his own.

"Let's go than." Aramis said before he and the Prince entered the car. The Prince sat in the back while Aramis was in the passenger seat.

"Now, you be careful and stay safe." Porthos said before pulling D'artagnan in for a small, quick hug.

" You too." She said before entering the car and sitting in the driving seat.

"How come he gets a hug? You don't even let me touch you." Aramis whined as she started the engine.

"That's because you're a pervert." She said before pulling out of the garage and out onto the road. The journey halfway to the airport was silent apart from the soft hum of the car engine.

"Our first flight will take us to Spain. From there we will head to Greece, then Africa, Dubai, France, Japan, New Zealand and then our final stop is Scotland. Our safe house in tucked away in a forest that can only be reach by foot or horse." D'artagnan told them her plan. "We change passports at every stop so we can keep as under the radar as we can."

" Very well." The Prince said in response.

"That reminds me. We can no longer call you by status. For here on we will use your name, Carlisle. But your last name will be changing constantly as we change passports. Along with the details on them. So you will need to study it as soon as you get it." D'artagnan continued on as she turned in off the city bypass. "We leave mobile phones, smartwatches, tablets, anything that can be traced, in this car." Aramis then reached under into the glove compartment and pulled out two small, cheap phones. He handed one to D'artagnan, who placed it onto her lap.

"The overall journey will take around two weeks. Then we will be in the safe house for around three to four months. Maybe more." Aramis said before D'artagnan pulled into the airport and parked the car in the car park. She turned the engine off and reached for the small hand bag and pulled out the passports.

"Look at them, remember them. I will keep them in this bag until we get to check in." She said before taking them back and putting the into her bag. She zipped it up and opened her car door followed by the others. D'artagnan and Aramis took off their uniform jackets and folded them into the boot before taking jumpers and pulling them over their shirts. They then collected their bags from the boot and D'artagnan locked the car before throwing the keys into the boot and closing it.

"As much as it pains me to say this. But, Aramis and I will pretend to be a couple going on holiday and you are our closest friend, who will be joining us." D'artagnan growled out unhappy with the situation. But this is all part of her job, to protect the Prince.

"Really now?" Aramis said as they walked towards the entrance. Aramis smirked as he snakes an arm around D'artagnan's waist and pulled her closer. As they walked in through the sliding glass doors, Aramis's hand slipped down from her waist towards her lower half.

" If that hand 'slips' any further. I will cut it off and shove it so far up your ass." D'artagnan growled lowly to him as his hand then move back up, as he knew it was not an empty threat.

"Good boy." She told him as they walked over to the security area. They passed through with ease and walked into the waiting area. Their flight to Spain was not for another three hours.

"Hungry?" D'artagnan asked the two men who nodded rather too eagerly. She rolled her eyes and folded her arms out her chest while looking at them. "Okay, are you going to say what you would like to eat or am I going to have to do everything on this trip?" She asked them.

"Yes, I would like Bluefin Tuna paired with baby potatoes from Ireland and fresh salad. Then for desse..." Carlisle began to tell her before she stopped him by standing in front of his walk way.

" Wow, slow the hell down. From this moment on you gotta say byebye to Bluetail Tuna or whatever and hello Mcdonald's and Burger King." She told him as he looked to her as if to ask if she remembers who she is talking too. "I'm afraid you will have to forget what luxuries you had and deal with what we can afford over the next two day with a thousand pounds."

" A thous? A thousand pounds? Darling my underwear costs more than that! how do you expect me to live with just that?!" He asked her.

" No. Of course you don't have to live with that." D'artagnan said before walking into a restaurant. " We have to live with just that."
