Reyna wasn't a big drinker for many reasons: she had seen alcohol ruin many of her school friends' lives, the liquid had always burned it's way down her throat, and she was still underage. Every so often, she'd make an exception for that rule and she'd have a drink or two, never strong. So when she and Cody had ended up back in his trailer, watching Ghost Adventures and he had offered her a drink, she had happily accepted because Valentine's day was always hard for her.

When she was sixteen, she had a boyfriend who she had loved as much as she could for being only sixteen. Cody, though, was not a big fan of Logan and had made it very clear throughout his best friend's entire relationship with him. He knew that Logan was the first boy she was intimate with, the first boy other than Cody that she had decided to let in past the slight abandonment issues she had due to her dad leaving, the first boy she wanted to love. But on Valentine's day, instead of giving her gifts and showering her in love, he told her he had been cheating on her for the past four months with the girl that he had told Reyna was his best friend, then told her it just made it equal because he knew that she was sleeping with Cody [she wasn't, of course]. And so Valentine's day every year after that was spent with Cody, keeping busy and eventually drinking at the end of the night, but never enough to get super drunk and make dumb decisions.

"How are you doing?" he asked her as he handed her a glass of Coke and Jack Daniels, a very weak mixture for the girl.

She shrugged, "Alright. You've kept my mind off of how stupid today is and bought me lots of chocolate to make myself sick on, so I'm pretty good right now."

"But it's a hard day for you," he says, joining her on the recliner that she had ordered Jeff to get for the trailer in return for Cora not getting to come back. There wasn't really enough room for the two of them, their cats, and the laptop that was playing their show but they made it work. "I just don't want to see you in pain over that stupid boy anymore."

"I'm not really hurt over that anymore," she admitted, looking up at him through her eyelashes as her hair fell down around her face in a curtain. "I mean, I am. He was cheating on me with Mia. But what sucked the most was that after him, I shut everyone out. Other than you. I never really gave myself a chance to get over him. I did, but not in a normal and healthy way."

"What do you mean?"

She sighed, "The normal way would be to go out and date someone else, build all of what we couldn't have with someone else. And in a way, I did that. But not with someone who would ever want that with me."

"What kind of idiot wouldn't want to be with you, Squirt?" he asked seriously, gently cupping her jaw and brushing his thumb across her cheekbone. "You are incredible, any guy would be lucky to have you."

"Shush, I wanna watch this episode," she said, in an attempt to distract the both of them from the direction that their conversation was going.

He listened, dropping his hand and turning back to the laptop and focusing on the episode of the paranormal show. But her focus wasn't on the show at all, it was on their skin that was pressed together, on his arm now wrapped around her shoulders, on the fact that she had come so close to telling him the truth. Without even thinking about it, she rest a hand on his thigh and took a drink of the drink he had made her. His gaze twisted to her, not expecting to see how vulnerable and fragile she looked.

"Do I know who it is that you feel that way about?" he asked, making her blink in shock and turn to look at him. "Is it someone from the cast?"

In response, she simply nodded and tightened her grip on his thigh. She had never lied to Cody and she didn't plan on starting now, even if she had omitted the truth for years. It was obvious he was running over all the guys in the cast that she could have developed feelings for and after a few moments of watching him do this, she grew tired of waiting for him to reach the conclusion on his own, so she makes a decision to do something that could potentially change the rest of her life. He furrows his eyebrows as she closes the laptop and moves it, setting it on the table. She grinned at him for a moment, as if trying to ease both of their nerves, though he wasn't even nervous.

He's stunned when - all of a sudden - her lips are pressed against his, one of her hands gripping his thigh and the other splayed out on the back of one of his shoulders. Then, after about five seconds of shock, he tangled his fingers up in her hair and dragged her closer to him. His other hand is used to shift her, pulling one of her legs over his body so that she would be straddling him. She grinned into the kiss for a moment before dragging her hand up and tangling her own fingers in his hair, gently tugging on it and causing him to moan into the kiss. At that moan, she pulled away from him for a second.

"It's you, Cody. It's always been you," she said, her hands holding his face gently as she looked at him. "I haven't seen you as just my best friend in a long time and I was so tired of hiding it, of being scared I'd ruin everything. So now you know, now the ball is in your court."

"Oh, Reyna," he sighed, his hands dusting up and down her sides, finally resting on her hips so that he could grip her, as if making sure she's really there, really telling him she feels the same way about him.

For some reason, no words seemed like enough to tell her how he felt about her, so he decided the best way to do so would be kiss her again, so that's exactly what he did. His lips didn't meet hers, though, instead ghosting over her bare shoulder and collar bone, leaving a burning wake as she tilted her head back and moaned at the feeling. Just behind her ear, in one of her weakest spots, he took his time and savored the taste of her. Her fingers tightened in his hair as he left his mark on her. Once he was satisfied by his work, he pulled away and gently blew on the wet mark, which made her groan and shift in his lap.

"Mine," he whispered gruffly, smoothing one hand along her back as the other one gripped her thigh. "You're mine, Reyna. You always have been."

Then she connected their lips again and this time their movements were frantic, a rush of passion and lust that they had felt for each other for so long, but had tried to hide from themselves and each other. Her lips dipped down his jaw and trailed down his neck, leaving kisses and little nibbles in their wake. As her focus was there, his fingers slipped into her sweater and he began tugging at the hem. So she pulled away from him long enough to shed the layer, tossing it behind them and smirking when his eyes widened at the sight of her, as she had rid herself of her bra when she had donned the oversized sweater that.

"We should probably move," he said, his eyes taking her beauty. "There is a bed."

"We're not having sex tonight," she told him with a grin, leaning down and pecking his lips. "We've both been drinking and I don't want to rush that."

He looked at her adoringly, "We can do whatever you want, Princess. I'm okay with anything."

She grinned mischievously and shifted her hips against him, rubbing against him, "I know. And I know plenty of ways to make you feel good without going all the way."

At that, he wrapped his arms around her and stood up. She giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck and burying her face in between his skin and her arm, pressing kisses to his warm skin while he carried her to the bed. Once there, he set her down and peeled off his own shirt while she pulled her hair up into a bun, watching him with adoration and desire dark in her eyes. He climbed onto the bed on top of her, closing the distance between them and kissing her deeply.

And their kissing continued for a long time, hands everywhere and breathless moans and layers being shed. Eventually, she rolled them over so she was on top and began trailing kisses across his chest, then down his abdomen. And when she reached her destination, she looked up at him through her eyelashes for the second time that night and he groaned, watching as she demonstrated yet another talent she possessed that had the power to satisfy him, and he knew that this girl would be either the greatest or worst thing to ever happen to him.

"Wake up, sleepyhead," is whispered into her ear, making her groan and shove her face into the pillow. "Reyna, babe, you need to get up. I have to go shoot some scenes and you promised people you'd hang out with them today."

She let out another groan, but her eyes fluttered open. The bright sunlight and the light on in the room made her wince, then she saw Cody. He was standing in front of the bed in just a towel, his hair wet and his skin still glistening from the water droplets from the shower. Warmth spread through her body and she sat up, not realizing until she wasn't under the covers that she still wasn't wearing a shirt. With a blush, she cover herself with her arms and the memories of the night before flooded her mind, warming her body even more. The smirk on his face confirmed that they had indeed fooled around the night before. He took a step closer to the bed, hand on the towel as he grinned at her.

"Though we do have about half an hour before we have to meet them," he said, making her uncross her arms and shift, crawling towards him. "And I could be persuaded to fill that time with you."

"Persuaded?" she questioned, gripping the towel and tugging him to her. "Get over her."

He chuckled as she pulled him to the bed and tossed the towel away from the bed, connecting their lips and making him lose track of any thoughts of filming his show. And so they fill the next twenty minutes with each other, a mess of lips and hands and sheets. Eventually, though, she does force them to stop so that they can get ready to go socialize and, in his case, work. He watched her as she pulled on her favorite pair of ripped skinny jeans and then stand there in just the jeans and a bra, trying to decide on a top to wear. After pulling on a pair of sweatpants, he tossed her a white button up shirt. She looked down at it and then back up to him, grinning a little bit.

"Your shirt?" she asked, but didn't hesitate to pull it on and start buttoning up the front.

"Well, you are mine, so you're definitely entitled to my clothes," he told her, grabbing a t-shirt to tug on.

"Yours?" she asked, taking a step closer to him and wrapping her arms around his neck, playing with the hair at the nape of his neck. "Are you trying to tell me I'm your girlfriend now?"

"I think that's a given after last night," he teased, gently kissing her for a moment. "And the last twenty minutes. You know how I feel about you and how you feel about me. Of course I want you to be my girlfriend."

"Well it's a good thing I want to be your girlfriend then," she laughed, pressing one more kiss to his lips before pulling away from him. "Okay, shoes. And then we need to go meet up with everyone so you can get to the makeup trailer and wardrobe."

So they finish getting ready and leave the trailer together, the cats being left behind for the day. As they walk through set together, aiming to reach the tent where the breakfast would be, as well as some of the cast, she found his hand and laced their fingers together. With a grin, he raised their hands to his mouth and pressed a kiss to her knuckles. When they reached the tent, they let go of each other and join the cast.

It doesn't faze any of them to see her in his clothes of for him to get her a plate of food and a cup of apple juice because my God, orange juice is so gross. None of them react when he sits down next to her and her legs end up in his lap, one of his hands on her thigh while he quickly eats his breakfast. Nothing the two of them fazes anyone until Tyler announces it's time for them to go to makeup and she moves her legs for him to get up. Colton was messing around on Snapchat on his phone and so when there was gasps, he looked up from it to find that the two best friends. It took him about two seconds to react, zooming in and taking a picture of the two while they're kissing, smiles on both of their faces.

"Oh my God," Dylan O'Brien mumbled, staring at them. "They're doing that."

"Yes they are," Tyler Hoechlin said, honestly proud of them.

There's no more conversation as they pull apart, parting ways. He followed Posey and some of the others to get prepped for shooting while she stayed behind with just four different cast members who had already had been promised a day out with her since they weren't needed on set. She turned to the group of four guys with a faint smile on her face, all of them staring at her in shock.

"What?"she asked, playing as innocent as possible.

"We are having a long, in depth talk about what that was," Charlie told her, giving her a look.

She smirked, "Maybe. Maybe not. If you all buy me fries, I'm 100% down to answer just about any question you have for me."

"Let's go get fries," Dylan said, smiling at her.

And so as they went off on their mission for fries and shopping, she answered most of their questions and told them the truth: she had liked Cody for years and had never acted on it, that he had apparently felt the same way. And in between takes and while they were getting ready, Cody answered similar questions and confirmed that the two were now a couple. Both were oblivious to the media frenzy currently surrounding the pictures that Colton had posted on his Snapchat.

so that happened.
