Christmas Break
Blin tossed her phone on the edge of the bottom bunk bed where she was currently staying with her boyfriend Christian.
Winter break started tomorrow and her sister wanted to come up again but Blin wanted to go to the ski lodge with Christian. She didn't know how she was going to tell Catrina, they spent every Christmas together.
And she didn't want Catrina hanging around Jungkook either. The thought of her mature friend getting with her little sister made dread pool in the pit of her stomach.
He would surely break her heart. But that's nothing to be concerned, Jungkook was plenty busy with campus visitors.
Blin looked up hearing the door open. She smiled and stood seeing Christian walk in although he didn't look so happy.
"What happened?"
"Jimin will leave you alone, don't worry about it." Christian said.
Blin nodded thankfully. "Did you have to hit him?"
"Yes." Christian looked guilty and mad. But much more mad than guilty. He probably couldn't process his own brother trying to come onto the one he loves.
Blin sighed. "Let's lighten the mood. Christmas break starts tomorrow. Where are we heading?"
"Let's go to New York, the ski lodge." Christian's face brightened a bit.
"I like that idea." She didn't know if Christian would be okay with her sister coming, she felt nervous to ask.
"Your sister can come," he said reading her mind. "And if you don't mind, can Jungkook come? And Suga?"
Blin luaghed. "Why not? Sounds fun." She thought about V, wondering what he might be doing for Christmas. If he had any family to go to, or friends.
"Well, we had better pack tonight for the trip. I'm going to go meet with a friend." Blin said.
Christian nodded and smiled. "Okay, and maybe we'll do secret santa or something."
Blin luaghed. "Secret Santa is for kids Christian. But sure, why not?"
"For kids my butt." He mumbled under his breath.

Jungkook shoved his cold hands in his winter coat. He hated the Christmas season. Everyone was supposed to be kind and crap but they're all just jerks. The kindest on Christmas were usually the crappiest.
But Christmas was just the absolute worst when you didn't have someone to spend it with. No family or friends. Blin and Christian we're probably spending it together, as they deserved to get away for a little while.
And of course there was V, but he was just as depressed as he was.
He stood in front of the Christmas coco packages and sighed. He was going to get a gift, but he shook his head thinking what was the point.
He turned around to leave the store when his breath cuaght.
Catrina was standing behind an old woman holding a box that had a picture of a blender on it.
What was she even doing here?
He started to go over but stopped. He didn't even know what he would say.
He sighed figuring it was better not to even get involved with Catrina. She was a good sweet girl. Not like some of those phonies out there. He couldn't burden and bring a strong girl like her down. And if she did have feelings for him, he wished them to go away.

"Do we get a Christmas break?" Lisa asked Jhope.
Jhope sighed annoyed at her persistent questions. "I will tell you when session starts today."
She walked away frustrated with him as usual. Jhope scoffed. Does she think we are friends or something? On the same level?
The trainees filed into the discussion room.
A kid was getting cut today, it was always his least favorite. Watching him kill an individual's dream ever so slightly. Giving up on perhaps a future super star.
Because he knew how they felt. He'd been rejected over seventeen times before he got his first deal with a band. It was his dedication that pulled him through.
But every 'no' sucked a certain amount of desire and confidence out of him. And not every person is strong enough to wistand so much rejection.
He cleared his throat preparing to start the class. Looking at each on of their anxious faces. His eyes then resting on Namjoon's. Namjoon was staring off in thought.
He was always thinking. A symptom of being a rapper. He was always studying too. Namjoon was very smart. He could've been a doctor, but instead he is sitting right in this room busting his rear end to rap.
That was admireable. The sacrifice he's made. And his rap was improving. It really was. He would use an expert flow, and an amazing rhythm.
He peeled his eyes off Namjoon and focused on the class as a whole clearing his throat.
"Let's get this over with. Today a trainee will be cut, as you already know." They gave a groan. " But that never means you aren't good enough, or you should quit. If you weren't good enough, you wouldn't be here. All of you have done so well, I think we have time to spare. Which means each of you have seven days to do whatever you please. Go have fun on Christmas, try to visit your families. Because as an idol, no one cares if you don't see your families for a few years. So enjoy it.
As for who is getting cut today. Sheryl, you've done an amazing job-" she started crying. "And I don't want you to give up. Go chase your dream even if everyone else says no. Unfortunately, I can only have a certain amount of trainees in my future band, so I'm afraid there is no longer a space for you." He bit his lip. No one could tell this bothered him. He was always 'cold' to the trainees. But every time he drops a trainee it gets no easier.
Sheryl got up with her things and rushed out of the room. She must've been really upset. Usually they would say 'thank you fo the opportunity...I won't let this hold me back....you'll see me soon...you'll regret it' and so on.
He sighed and looked back at the class. "We'll have a Christmas party now in the main room, then all of you may leave. But you must be back by Monday or you will be immediately cut unless you tell me in advance. You're dismissed"
The kids sprang up yelling and laughing. It was sweet it really was.
But he knew this would put him behind. Kim Seokjin's wasn't giving his trainees a break. Which mean they'll have an extra week of practice on them.
He shook away the thought and tried to think of his plans for Christmas. He could travel somewhere, but spending Christmas break by yourself was depressing.
He figured he would just stay here. Work on his dancing, his rapping, his singing. Prefect his performances, his skill, his art.
The trainees were all gathered in the main room dancing and singing, eating the Christmas snacks he had spent a long time making.
He walked in and saw everyone exchanging gifts. He remembered the secret santa they had done a couple practices ago. He was glad he got the present for Evan early, his secret santa receiver.
He sat down as Namjoon, out of all the trainees handed him a small gift wrapped in golden wrapping.
He smiled and everyone was watching him waiting for him to open it.
He began to unwrap the gift when Namjoon spoke up. "Don't open it now. But when everyone but me leaves."
Jhope's cheeks grew warm and he nodded getting up to get some air. Something he doesn't want everyone to see?
He stepped out of the room too excited to wait for the trainees to leave.
He was unwrapping the gift when Namjoon stepped out surprising him.
"Too eager to wait?" He said smiling.
Jhope cleared his throat and put the gift in his pocket. "Umm." He scolded himself in his mind. He never let the trainees see him overly happy or flustered or vulnerable.
"It's fine, you can open it now, they are just about done in there anyway."
Jhope nodded. "what did you receive?"
Namjoon held up fuzzy socks to his face and smiled.
Jhope's laughed a little. "Have any plans for Christmas break?"
Namjoon nodded. "Huge ones."
"That's good. Seeing your family?"
Namjoon shook his head.
Jhope breathed in the cold air letting the silence hang. "You're not going to ask what I'm doing for break? Not even a guess?"
"I know what you're doing."
Jhope looked confused but Namjoon walked back into the room.
Jhope followed him pleased to see the last trainee just leave.
"Open it." Namjoon said.
Jhope unwrapped the gift and took off the top of the box carefully. Inside a lay a small ticket. He brought the tickets towards his eyes to read the small ticket.
One Broadway ticket for Hamlet.
Jhope's eyes grew wide. "How did you get this?! For me?!" He was almost freaking out. He couldn't care less about attempting to keep his cool. He had failed doing that around Namjoon weeks ago.
Namjoon smiled. "I just wanted to spend Christmas break with someone. I don't have any friends so I was wondering if you wanted to see it with me."
Jhope smiled holding the ticket against his chest. "Thank you, Rapmonster."
Namjoon smiled just as happily that he said yes as he was happy he got the ticket.
He could see why Namjoon didnt want him opening it infront of the trainees. It was an expensive gift and it may seem like he was sucking up to him, or even more. Jhope blushed at the thought. Stop it Namjoon, why do you get me so flustered?
He couldn't believe he had something huge to do this Christmas, and someone important to spend it with.
