ch 40: More of an Aquataince
Blin sat down when her legs finally got tired. She was stubborn, and she tried to get out of that but she couldn't help it.
She leaned against the door and fell backwards when it opened onto Jimin's shoes.
"You're still here?" He asked.
She nodded. "I need help."
He sighed, "ten minutes."
Blin smiled gleefully and walked into his dorm, sitting down on his sofa and crossing her legs.
"About us being friends, can we start over?"
"How many times are we going to start over Blin?" He asked bored.
"Look, you almost raped me and I forgave you so you can forgive me for not being your friend for a day." She crossed her arms
"Not interested in hearing your sass today."
"You know who Sam is right?"
He nodded.
"She knows I'm a girl." Blin expected him to gasp but he didn't. He didn't like surprised at all. "You're not surprised?"
"I mean, you don't do a great job of acting like a male."
Blin rolled her eyes.
"So? She gonna tell on you or what?"
Blin sighed. "She said if I break up with Christian she'll keep my secret. If not, she's going to tell the news and get the whole school board in trouble because of me."
Jimin nodded. "Well, what are you going to do?"
Blin threw her hands up. "I don't know. I don't want to break up with Christian and I don't want to get anyone in trouble. I sorta figured you'd know what to do."
"Well, I'm no therapist."
"I wouldn't be able to stand to see Sam and Christian going out together." Blin twisted her face as if she ate something sour.
Jimin rubbed his chin. "Actually, this could get bad. I mean, if Sam tells the news and the angry parents of duaghters who begged to go here sue my mom she'd pull me out and we'd move in with my dad." He suddenly grew irritated.
"What should I do then?"
"It's obvious Blin. Give Sam what she wants. You are affecting everyone because of your problems."
She shook her head. "I can't just do that Jimin there's gotta be another way."
"Well looks like there isn't. You already got Rapmonster kicked out of here and you're not throwing me out either. "
"So that's it? Just break up with him?" She asked hurt.
He nodded. "Don't be selfish Blin."
She shook her head. "I'm sorry but no. I don't know why I even came here to talk to you. Of course you'd want me to break up with Christian! You're— you're jealous!"
Jimin's eyes widened.
"I can't do this anymore Blin. I'm so tired of you pointing fingers at me and acting like a child! I'm trying my best to move on so do me a favor and don't talk to me. I genuinely mean that." His voice was low and he motioned for her to get out.
She nodded. "Yeah, okay well fine. I don't even know why I'm pressing to be friends with someone like you! It would've never worked. All we do is fight."
"Because all you do is mess up!"
Blin gasped. "Oh so I'm a screw up?" Her finger was shakily pointing at herself. "That's what you're saying right now?"
"Yeah Blin pretty much. Don't you dare even think about not calling Sam, because not only are you screwing yourself up you're screwing everyone around you."
Blin rolled her eyes. "I'm not breaking up with Christian. So kiss your fantasies goodbye." She flashed him the middle finger before turning around to walk away.
"Bitch." He spat at her.
She stopped walking for a second opening her mouth to start again but then she closed it. He's so not worth it.

Jungkook woke up to an empty space next to him. The sheets and comforter was placed in a way you couldn't tell a person touched it.
He ran his fingers through his hair cursing at himself.
He pressed his fingers to his temples to stop the throbbing headache.
"What have I done?" He asked himself
He got out of bed and dressed himself while walking to the kitchen to find Christian talking with the blue haired girl from art class.
"What is she doing here?" He asked drained.
Christain turned around and smiled seeing Jungkook awake.
"Good morning sleepyhead. Your friend Glass stopped bye to give you something of yours."
"More of an aquaintance." He mumbled referring to Christian calling Glass his friend.
Both Glass and Christian didn't hear his remark.
"Here you go Jungkook." She handed him his canvas he threw away a while but ago.
"Why did you—"
"The only way you will get better is if you keep your mistakes, learn and reflect on them not throw them away and pretend they didn't happen."
He stood there dumbfounded.
"Ever heard the saying history repeats? If you don't keep your progress you'll never know how hard you worked to get where you are."
Christian was nodding along.
Jungkook just sighed tired of the conversation. "Okay, I'll keep it." He said walking past her, he needed to talk to Cat.
"And Jungkook." Her words stopping him before he could flee.
"Yes?"
"Do you give art lessons?"
"Nope." He walked out of the dorm wishing she would just leave him alone.

Rapmonster uncrumpled the napkin Jhope gave him. He had wrote something down inside: an address, date, and time.
Rapmonster rubbed his temples and threw it away.
I'm done screwing around with Jhope. I need to focus on my goals. He doesn't feel the same way about me and that's fine, but I'm not looking for a friendship right now.
He followed Jin back to the academy where the band Got7 was already training. The looks they gave him when he walked in were pleasant; they seemed genuinely happy Rapmonster was there.
"So," The one Rapmonster remembered from watching tv was Jackson "are you going to join Got7? We really hope you say yes, we've heard you rap." He says excitedly.
Rapmonster was pretty flattered that an already established group wanted him to join.
"I'm thinking about it." He said just because of Jackson's excitedness. He wasn't thinking about it actually, he already knew the answer: no.
"I have a couple bars I'd like you to rap just to see how well you'd fit into this song. Oh, I'm Bam Bam by the way." A lean handsome idol stuck his hand out for Rapmonster shake it.
"Boys, Boys. Rapmonster will have plenty of time to rap and produce with you all but for right now we need to get him warmed up." Jin said smiling.
Rapmonster nodded meekly and followed Jin to the producing room. Jin instructed him to warm up by free styling and getting his brain moving.
Rapmonster failed to notice the seven boys outside of the door pressing their ears to the wall anticipating his rap.
Jin gave him a sick beat and the rap flowed naturally, a second nature to him. He was surprised at the own lyrics coming out of his mouth. Darker than he had expected, sadder. And then he stopped when he the name Jhope slipped from his mouth.
Shit. He purses his lips breathing deeply. Trying to pick up after that was a bit difficult.
"We'll stop there. That was excellent Rapmonster." Jin marveled.
"No, I'm not done." Rapmonster protested. Get over him. He refused to show the seven boys with high expectations that he couldn't free style flawlessly.
He continued his rap executing the rest perfectly, pushing any feelings and loose thoughts about Jhope in the absolute corner of his mind. But pushing away just made them hurt more. He tried to remember the address, date, and time Jhope had written on that napkin. His bad temper and spur of the moment decision led him to throw it away which he now regrets. He needs to confront the problem, and move on.
The seven boys flooded into the room and all yapped at once about how amazing Rapmonster is. It was a confidence boost, but he still wasn't ready to make any commitments.
The rest of the day went sort of like that. Having a tour of the studio and establishing where he would work, testing out bars of songs and even wrighting a hook for one of Got7's songs in their album. Jin told him it was a welcoming gift. He also told him the hook would only sound right with his voice in it.
Rapmonster caved only because he knew it would be a great experience. People would hear his rap, the catchiest part of the song, and maybe they'd remember his name.
But his goal isn't fame, it's to make music that people enjoy listening to; regardless of it's just one person or thousands.
At 8:45pm Rapmonster packed up his things and stopped when he heard the murmurs of the seven boys in the meeting room.
"He's really good, but do you think he'll overshadow us?" A voice said.
"No, we were famous first. Our lovelies might not even accept him let alone like him more. But, we could make him the scapegoat of the group."
"But that's not the important part! He's so good, he deserves to be here."
"I disagree, I think Jackson or Bam Bam can rap like him any day. Besides, his style is hip hop. We are Kpop Idols."
"You're right, he just wouldn't fit in. And I agree with Youngjae. As an already underrated member I don't want to be even more overshadowed. Four against two, let's tell Jin the decision."
Rapmonster felt the anger welling up inside him. Sure he wasn't planning on joining the stupid band anyway but now he just wanted them to learn from their mistakes. They aren't looking to improve their music, they just want fans!
He slung his bag over his shoulder walking quickly away from the door.
"Stop!" Jackson said running after him.
"Why?" Rapmonster threw his hands up exasperated. "I'm not wanted here anyway."
Jackson shook his head "I want you here! I respect you and I have so much to learn from you, excuse my band mates, they are just intimidated. You have so much talent!"
Rapmonster sighed, maybe Jackson was one of the ones who voted him to stay. "Look, thanks for your hospitality but I'm gonna leave."
Jackson sighed "can we still be friends?"
Rapmonster shrugged "Sure kid. Good luck with your crowd support."
"Music is so much more to me, so sometime, teach me how to freestyle hm?!" He called after Rapmonster.
Rapmonster gave him a thumbs up before walking out of the studio. He still had one more battle to tackle: Jhope.
