1 year later...

Katherine POV

"Kat , Come on i need to finish your make up ,quickly finish your shower. " Cara shouted from the other room interrupting my heavenly bath .

Well, not heavenly anymore..

"Coming , i am fûckin coming , Just stop shouting" I said as i wore my bath robe and went out of the bathroom.

"Finally ! God you know there is just five hours left for the party, and i have to make your ugly face and hair look a little bit beautiful and at least presentable. " She said with an irritated tone.

"Oh you bitch.." I gritted my teeth, i looked around me and took the pillow on the bed and threw it at he.

She chuckled and then threw it at before running away. I directly followed her.

This witch.

She went down the stairs and i followed, whatever she found in her way she would throw at me. I did the same.

We probably look so childish now, i know.

Such like old times-

Oh god, I really missed this girl , who can believe it' been a YEAR !

Time passes really fast.

So yeah if you are wondering , it has been a whole year since our graduation , and a lot of things changed during this period of time.

A LOT !

My phone started buzzing, i stopped chasing after that witch and took it out of my pocket.

When i saw the callers ID, a weird smile made its way to my lips.

"Lover Birds !" Cara mumbled with an annoyed tone.

I ignored her and answered
"Hello." I said .

"Hey pumpkin." And that deep yet smooth voice of his said.

"How are you ? You know what , i missed you so much, i need to see you ,can i come now ?"

"Seriously ! It's just been like five hours since i last saw you. Stop being so dramatic." I said, and even though it is just five hours but i miss him too .

"Actually it has been 5 hours , 23 minutes and 42 seconds !" He said with a serious tone making me chuckle.

"Come on ,Please ! I'll just sit in the corner and i promise i'll make no noise"

"But i cant promise that i wont let you make noises ." He said and i'm sure he is smirking now .

"No way." I said and shook my head, "Cara is going to do  my makeup and hair , and we need some time together to catch up , its been long since i last saw her."

Cara inched closer to me, and talked beside the phone, "CHASEE , if i saw you standing at my doorstep before eight, i will cut your little- !"

I directly placed my hand over her mouth and tried to push her away.

Damn.

No manners or whatsoever.

He cursed something under his breath, he let out a bored sigh, "Okaayy."

"I'll pick you up at 8 pm then." He said, "I love you babe."

"Love you too Chase." i said with a dreamy sigh before hanging up.

So yeah chase and me ,

WE ARE STILL DATING!

After graduation, we moved to Los Angeles and started working at his company and i was living with him since then.

Working at the company gave me so much experience and Chase being always beside me helped me more.

I love him so much and he loves me too ,and the past year was like the best year in my life.

I was happy , I'm happy, genuinely happy.

I never thought i would be this much happy again.

I never thought i would be able to love and be loved this much.

It's perfect.

It's too good.

Sometimes it makes me think it's too good to be true.

But well, it is.

In the morning we came back to Columbia because it's his parents wedding anniversary and they're throwing a party.

I directly came to Cara's house once i arrived here. I missed her so much, I haven't seen her since she last visited us in LA, well except for skype calls and all.

And for sure she is going to do my make up and hair, not that i have a say in that, but well, she is more professional in these things than me.

Not to mention that the party today contains all types of  well known business men and their wives and every one there will be super rich and all, so i should fit in this richy recipe.

Sigh.

I just hope everything goes well.

Especially when i tell Chase-

Oh god- i am already nervous.

Let's hope for the best.

Yeah, the best.

After what felt like a decade , Cara , thanks god , finished her magic work .

"You look amazing !" She said with a bog smile , "Wow i'm really good huh ?" She added as she looked at me from head to toe.

I pushed her away to look in the full length mirror, "Woah ! " I said astonished once i saw my reflection.

Damn it, i really look so good , my makeup is amazing, it's so classy. My curls are loosened, cascading around my shoulders.

And the dress-

Oh god , Let me not get started with the dress , it is a red strapless gown ,it fits my body exactly ,it is just so beautiful.

Chase bought it for me.

My man have a really good taste, huh ?

I turned around taking into my look, i really like it, i am sure the women i'm looking at her now is not the same Katherine i am used to see.

Can't wait for Chase to come and sees me.

"Chase is gonna lose his mind once he see you , You look so beautiful." Cara said with a sigh and hugged me, "Thanks." I said as i hugged her back.

A knock on the door made us break apart.

"I'll go and open, you get your purse and follow me." Cara said before heading down.

I took one last look on myself before taking a deep breath and walked down.

As i walked down the stairs, my eyes directly traveled to the door, Chase was standing there looking handsome as always wearing a black tux with a white shirt underneath and a black bow tie.

His eyes went from Cara to me, his icy blue eyes met mind and i felt my heart stop a bit. It's always like this when he gives me this look.

He smiled and looked away, "I should get used to her being so beautiful, right ?" He said to Cara and I couldn't help the blush that crept its way to my cheeks.

He looked back at me and didn't break his gaze until i reached beside him, "You look..." He took a pause looking deeply into my eyes "Amazing."

"No, the f*ck, you look perfect." He added, then let out a long breath.

"You don't look that bad either." I said as i placed my hand over his bow tie and tried to fix it.

He wrapped one of his hands around my waist and pulled me closer, pinning me against his warm chest.

He lowered his head, his lips beside my ear, "Let's forget about the party." He whispered, "-and let me kidnap you."

"Oh god don't have sex in front of me please." Cara's annoyed voice made me step away from him. 

"Both of you lover birds,stop this flirting and go to your damn party !" She snapped making Chase roll his eyes.

"Car, you're still single ha ?" Chase said raising his eyebrows. I chuckled at the way she glared at him.

He always tease her like that, reminding her she is still single.

She muttered a low 'Fuck you.'

Chase chuckled and shook his head. He then stepped beside the door making space for me to get out, "After you, M'lady." He said with a wink.

I bid my goodbye to cara and walked with Chase toward the car. We hopped in and Chase started to drive away.

I am still so nervous damn.

There will be so many people in the party and his parents and his whole family will be there, i am afraid to do something clumsy or stupid , i know myself.

Damn.

"Oh god !" Chase groaned from beside me. "Will you stop doing that !"

I looked at him with wide eyes. What in hell is he talking about.

"Will you stop bitting your lip , You know that this tempt me." He said and looked at me, he looked back at the road, "And that's no helping when you're looking this hot."

I started blushing like an idiot and i bite my lip again making him curse something under his breath.

"Are you nervous? I know you ,when you get nervous you start bitting your lip and playing with your hands like this." He said pointing at the way i was playing with my hands.

"Actually yeah , i'm a little bit nervous." I said as i shifted in my seat.

"Why you are nervous babe?" He said, "It's just a party, it's not like you haven't met my parents yet."

"I know , It is just there will be a lot of people there and your whole family will be there and you know how clumsy i am." I said and looked our of the window, i let out a sigh, "I am afraid i'll do something stupid or embarrass you or.." I wasn't able to continue because chase stopped the car suddenly and i swear i was going to hit my head if those seat belt doesn't exist.

"You never embarrass me !" He said-more like snapped. My eyes widened at his tone, "Don't you ever say something like that again !"

I directly nodded and swallowed hard.

Woah , calm down.

He shook his head, "Pumpkin-" he said softly, "i don't want you to be nervous , i'm sure everyone there will be jealous of you."

"And for your records , your not clumsy , you are just spontaneous and normal and that what makes you special.

That what made me fall for you in the first place. I just want you to act like yourself there , and everyone will like you , not just like, everyone will love you babe." He finished , his words made me feel a bit better.

My lips curved a smile and my cheeks turned red as i struggled to reply at his compliment.

"And if i see you bitting your lips again, i swear i will kidnap you and forget about the whole damn party." He added with a threatening tone.

I chuckled and nodded. I inched myself closer toward him and pecked his lips.

What did i do good in my life to deserve a guy like Chase.

I am so lucky.

I don't know what would happen to me if i lost him.

I shook my head kicking that stupid thought away.

"And i know you hate parties , and that you came to this one just for me , so thanks babe ." He smiled his million dollar smile before starting the engine again.

I felt more relaxed now , thanks to my Chase.

But the problem is that the party and the people are not the only thing making me nervous.

I don't know what would be his reaction when he hear the news i have ?

My hand traveled to my belly, i caressed it lightly and took a deep breath thinking how i'll tell him such a thing .

The party was so classy and amazing , every thing was decorated in an elegant way , and till now i didn't do anything stupid , and i have a feeling that his family likes me now.

Every now and then they mention how beautiful i am , and how Chase is lucky to have a girl like me, and his mother would mention some stories about Chase's childhood making us laugh so hard which in its turn make me earn a murderous look from Chase.

And i swear he whispered in my ear that he'll punish me really hard after the party.

And lets not mention his types of punishments.

A couple of men came and started talking with Chase, discussing some work related stuffs with him, so i excused myself and decided to head to the balcony for some fresh air.

I was standing for a while till i felt chase wrapping his arms around my waist from the back, he placed his chin on my shoulder.

"Sorry for leaving you alone pumpkin." He whispered in my ear before leaving a sweet kiss."

"Oh no it's no problem." I directly said, "I just wanted some fresh air."

"Everyone liked you and they are all jinxing me right now for having such a beautiful girlfriend. I told you not to worry, You are amazing , and everyone sees that."

This man will be the end of me one day .

I am sure.

A waiter passed by us holding two glasses of Champaign , Chase called him, taking the two glasses and then handing me one .

Oh holy shit !

I cant drink this , what should i do now ?

"Umm chase ... I don't feel like drinking anything tonight , it is okay right?" I said giving my glass to the waiter.

"What ? Why? Are you okay ? Are you sick ? Is there anything hurting you?" He directly went overprotective-boyfriend on me.

"No, no it is just my stomach hurt a little bit, and i don't think a drink will do good." I said hoping he will drop the subject.

He looked at me for a moment, then he placed his glass on the counter , took my hand and pulled me away with him.

"Where are you taking me ?" I asked surprised by his sudden action.

"There is a place i need you to see." He said, his lips curving a smile , he took my hand again and took me out of the whole mansion.

"Are you crazy ? What about the party ?" I stopped walking looking dumbfounded at the crazy man in front of me.

"Don't worry ,The party can wait. Come on come ,stop whining like a child !" He said and dragged me away with him.

We kept on walking for almost like ten minutes and that guy i call my boyfriend wont tell me where we're heading to.

But i can feel that these places we are passing through looks familiar , i've been here before but the darkness is not making it clear for me to see.

I was thinking where the hell we are until i saw that "place" that i'll never forget , the "place" where chase confessed his love for me-

--it is "our place" .

"Oh my god ! I missed this place." I said, i felt like jumping up and down but the heels won't let me for sure.

Chase's smile grew wider, he then took my hand and dragged me toward the stairs.

We started climbing until we reached the roof and what i saw took my breath away.

Woah.

There is candles everywhere lightening the roof and when i stepped closer i was able to see how they were organized in a heart-shaped, not to mention the red roses petals covering the whole area.

All this with the moonlight made this place look super romantic .

I cant believe he did this for me.

"You did all this ?" I asked looking at chase .

He just nodded smiling .

I just wrapped my arms around his neck "You never give up on surprising me , do you !"

He chuckled and said "I will do anything for you."

Remember in this same spot, i promised you that everyday i'll make my best to prove that i deserve the chance you gave me."

"And you made a wonderful job proving it." I said looking at those eyes of his , the eyes that made my heart beat, that made me love and feel.

"Our relation started here , in this same place, since then this place held a significant position in my heart so i wanted it to witness this .." he said before taking a step away.

And then he suddenly-

Oh god,

He knelt down on one knee.

Oh my god, i am freaking out !

He is not doing this , right?

Holy fuck of shit.

I can't feel my heart anymore--

He took a black velvet box from his pocket, then opened it reviling a diamond ring,

"Katherine ,The moment i saw you setting here i knew that you gonna change my life somehow , and you actually did.

You made me the happiest person , you made me grow up , you made me feel things i've never though i'd feel,

You taught me how to love.

I love you , i love so much Katherine,

I want to wake up with you every morning, I want to start a family with you, and I just want to grow old and play bingo with you -" he smiled and then he held my hand , and then he said it,

"Katherine Hunter , will you marry me ?"

I know my heart skipped maybe two beats or more when he asked me to be his wife, My tears started falling without my permission and then i screamed a "YES !" Without any hesitation.

We both didn't believe in Love before, but us being together proved us wrong.

What we have between us is so special and i will spend the rest of my life holding into it.

He slipped the ring on my finger and gave me a bear hug-

It was weird, i wanted to laugh but I didn't care I was just so shocked and amazed.

"I love you." He said again and kissed my forbidden.

"I cant believe that i'll spent the rest of my life with you." He said as he wiped the tears away with his thumb.

"I'm the luckiest man alive." He whispered, his face only inches away from mine and the warmth of his breath hitting my skin lit me up like a candle.

He leaned forward slowly, his hand brushing the hair out of my face and whipped my tears with his thumb and in an instant his lips were on mine.

They were rough and smooth, they were perfect. He moved them around in circles and my heart swelled.

His breathing was deep and loud in my ear.

I am still crying so hard like a total creep and I don't know why but i cant stop.

But for sure they're happy tears , because i've never been happy like this in my whole life.

My makeup must be ruined now , Cara is so going to kill me.

Forget about this , live the moment stupid Katherine.

We pulled away trying to take a breath, Chase's hands were still cupping my face, his lips still smiling, his beautiful eyes not leaving mine.

He really wants me, he wants to start a family with me.

I think this is the best moment to tell him , i have to tell him after all but i'm still a bit afraid of his reaction.

"There is something i need to tell you about."  I said and swallowed past the lump in my throat.

"Mhhmm", he mumbled with that million dollar smile never leaving his face.

"Umm.. Well .. It is pretty important and umm.. " i was afraid to say that damn two words.

"Babe tell me ,is there anything wrong? " he looked at me concerned.

Okay Katherine you can do this.

Come on , you love him and he loves you , whats the worst thing to happen ?

Here we go,

"I'm pregnant."
