I looked to the left

To see a train passing by
fast, so fast

Suddenly, I felt something that pierced me

here in my heart

The next day, I looked to the left

Same time, different day

late, the train's late

Suddenly, I felt like I missed something

here in my heart

Years ago, I looked to the left

I saw no train, but the person I loved

loving someone
