I feel like Wattpad designers (including myself) have forgotten the importance of giving credit. We should practice citing our sources so that karma doesn't hit us in the face with someone else claiming their graphics as their own.

No one wants to have their ideas stolen without being recognized for it.

I would hate the feeling of someone using my ideas and getting more praise and benefits from it than me, the actual creator.

So, this one is less graphic oriented and more ethics oriented. As much as you want to make pretty graphics, you have to also respect other's works too.

When crediting photographs or photos taken by a camera or cellphone, you must always credit the photgrapher. If no photographer is listed below, then at least provide a link to the original picture in the comments.

If there is a scenario like this, you can always credit or state if your cover is inspired by a book or a movie that already exists, there is no harm in that.

Just state the title of the original movie or book series. If possible, state the photographer, the website, the cast and things like that.

What if you used an artist's work? Of course, it's sometimes hard to find the original artist on the internet. If this kind of scenario happens, it's okay to credit where you get it from.

If it's directly from an anime, you can credit the title of the anime and the illustrator. If it's a fan art of the anime, you can credit the title of the anime and the name of the artist who drew the fanmade art.

Sorry if this chapter seems sucky or boring. It's just that I have seen Velsper's work being used and claimed as their own without her permisson. I feel like it's always necessary to credit the people who made the picture possible.
