Basically, I wanted to learn more about cryptids because I'm qUIrKy like that, but my brain is telling me that that would be a useless waste of my time. But you know what wouldn't be a useless waste of my time, stupid brain?

Creating an entirely new Wattpad book dedicated to the weird and wonderful lives of cryptids!

So you're all learning with me. Tough luck.

I'm probably going to go way harder than I need to for all of these. I mean, full research into origins, folklore, various descriptions and sightings, et cetera. (More info on that below.)

I feel like I should put up this disclaimer - I don't actually believe any of this. I don't believe in cryptids, I don't believe in magic, I don't believe in generally any of the stuff that's going to be in this book. For me, they're just urban legends. I totally respect you if you believe in it, but I just learn about it for fun! So don't expect this book to take itself too seriously.

This might just be the timeline but a step to the left.

Major Media Appearances

Was this cryptid as mainstream as Mothman? (Probably not.) Were they brought up in an episode of "Supernatural?" (Probably.) Did a news channel report on them because news channels are jokes? (You can almost certainly count on it.)

I'm really gonna need your guys' help on this. I can't watch every single news report and supernatural show ever to search for these cryptids.

Possible Historical Source

In which I try to find similar folklore/urban legends from history to explain why these cryptids might have come to be.
