SOUNDWAVES

The soundwaves flow throughout my ears,

Motivating and hyping me up,

Or putting me deep into thought.

Either way, it clears my fogged mind when I most need it,

And that's why I love music.

The vibes,

The beat,

The bass,

The drums,

They all create a perfect getaway to run from the stress.

VIDEO GAMES

I turn on the screen,

Waiting patiently for the logo to appear,

As it passes, I mash the start button(s),

Loading into the game and straight into the action.

These games give me a certain rush that nothing else does,

The lights and sounds,

Fill me with determination and pride,

As I blast into battle without fear,

Not knowing if I'll reign victorious,

But at that moment,

I won't care,

Because I'm too focused on what's ahead of me.
