CHAPTER 13. The Phoenix Clan.

DATE: May 31, 2008
Saturday Afternoon.

Ben started digging up some sort of secluded grave which is in the mount of Golgotha in jerusalem after crossing path with a certain Hero Faction and asked for a few information about a certain gifted Holy person by god himself through virgin Mary Jesus Christ after knowing the truth about Jesus Christ's death being a cause of a stabbed in the chest with a spear by St. Longinus he then knows where he was originally buried and here we are The Desecration of a Holy Corpse.

BEN POV

"I'm gonna let you guys know One little secret about Holy people, mainly DemiGods, they don't just die out from being stabbed by spears or swords or arrow shots, sure it'll be causing them major pain with half of their life force being drained but..... They'll be able to preserve their body to be brought back to life by God and what the descendent of Cao Cao proclaimed is true then Jesus might just be under hibernation. So, here we are at his resting place. I mean come on, do you all readers think I wanted to teleport here in the beautiful deserted mountain Golgotha of Jerusalem, Digging up the one and only Jesus Christ? No thank you, But the fate of Rias Gremory, my king's freedom depends on it. He might not be living his best life even though he was discriminated against and betrayed by the very people he wanted to save? But, he sure as hell ain't dead." I then glance down to see what is definitely a corpse of a skeleton radiating a small amount holy power despite it being thousand of years old it had stayed intact and preserved without being completely decaying over the centuries after getting burried impressed me so it has to be the holy power still in it that preserve the fully intact skeleton. "Bingo,Yatzee, Yes yes yes yes, yes yes." I sighed deeply as I put the shovel over my left shoulder before throwing a tantrum. "Dammit!" I started hitting the corpse with my shovel. "Son of A bitch!" I then broke the shovel in half and threw it in frustration. "Fuck! Motherfucker! Rias is fucked!"

I then found himself sitting beside the corpse of Jesus as he snorted. "Hahahahaha! That's a little weird. I'm much calmer now, look man, I am no magical nor a science guy but you seem incredibly passed away." I sighed deeply putting my right leg over his left knee as he leaned down on a boulder as I patted Christ Left leg. "But it's good to finally meet you in real life. I gotta to be honest, I've always wanted to see you Jesus Christ in person. Ever since I have discovered that Angels, Devils and Fallen Angels from the christian bible all real. And I have never expected such a crossover ever in my entire existence between the story of Highschool DXD and Jesus Christ in this Story getting into an Ben 10: Alien X Devil DXD Fucking shit up! Can you imagine the fun, the chaos, the residual?" I then started moving his lower jawline imitating Jesus Christ's Jerusalem voice accent. "Good day mate, Give nothing to bring me back to life faster than a growing numbers of followers." He signed and ruffled his hair out of frustration. "Dammit! I promise Rias that I'll have some help to win over her freedom, I could really use your help right about now!" Ben sighed in frustration and stood up. "Oh well, You know what. Fuck it like my old friend wade said fuck it! Let's do this. Maximum Effort."

He then called in Grayfia-san and was summoned back into the underworld.

Rating Game battleground

(Three days later)

A week after training with the members of ORC and two days after researching for the bone of Jesus Christ.

As the Entirety of Rias Peerages was teleported in the Underworld as they were still in the clubroom! They didn't seem to have moved an inch.

"Did the magic not work for some reason?" Asia asked, the same look of confusion on her face too as she looked around the dark clubroom.

"No, the circle worked just fine." Kiba answered, turning his head back to glance at her with a smile.

She was just about to ask again what Kiba had meant by that when a voice suddenly reverberated around the room.

{Welcome everyone. I am Grayfia, a servant in the house of Gremory, and I have been selected for the position of arbiter for today's Rating Game,} Grayfia's calm, collected voice revealed to all listening in. {After listening to the suggestions provided by Lady Rias and Lord Riser, the arena created to serve as the battleground for this match is a replica of an educational establishment in the human world that Rias attends, known locally as Kuoh Academy.}

"Wait, did she just say 'replica'...?" Asia began but Rias beat her to the punch with a nod of her head.

"Mhm. Take a look outside and you'll see." She told him and Asia who obediently complied and walked to the nearest window and drew back the curtains to look outside.

Hey eyes widened in amazement at what they saw.

Instead of the night sky that they had seen when they entered the old school building, the sky now appeared to be displaying the Aurora Borealis in all its spectacular glory.

"Amazing." Asia breathed, temporarily captivated by the sights before him to the point that he nearly missed it when Grayfia began speaking again.

{The area that the two teams have been teleported to will serve as their home base for the duration of this match. As stated of this challenge against the Pawn of Lady Rias-Sir Ben The current Red Dragon Emperor and wielder of the Omnitrix will be located in the Occult Research Club within the old school building whereas Lord Riser's home base will be located in the principal's office of the new school building. Should a pawn reach their opponent's base then they will be able to promote themselves to any other piece.}

There was a pregnant pause after the Game's starting point was announced.

{Good luck to you all.} She added before the transmission was cut.

"So any news on Ben?" Rias asked Akeno.

"I have just received a Telepathic call from Grayfia-san, that Ben-Kun will be arriving at the designated location of the collected borrowed Peerages of Riser Phoenix from his clan." Akeno told her and she nodded in approval.

"Good, Let's hope he wins this." Sighed Rias.

"Didn't he say he'll be getting help from someone after two days going solo training for the last moment?" Kiba asked.

"He did seem to be engrossed in researching through my Bible. Even bothered going through the Public Library before departing with us in the first week of our training before he went on his own journey." Asia proclaimed.

"Wait! I smell him!" Koneko suddenly announced that they saw Ben enter the arena in his Balance Breaker.

"Hmm, Whatever kind of solo training Ben-Kun did he already succeeded in activating his Balance Breaker The Scalemail Armor." Compliment Kiba.

"Indeed but what's that over his back?" Rias confusedly asked her Peerages who shrugged but then Akeno gasped in deep pleasurable pain.

"I don't know why but whatever he has brought with in this battle is radiating some serious holy power though it's faint but it's there alright." Muttered Akeno.

"Holy power?" Rias raised an eyebrow in confusion. 'Is this the help he proclaimed that he'll bring with him?' She asked herself.

As Ben was walking through towards the Gym which is where a bunch of Pawns waiting for him Ben leapt down and hid behind a bleacher of the Gym as the pawns of 16 armed themselves. "Wait! I'm not alone!" He removed the object on his back and revealed it to be what causes people watching this whole Rating Game to gasp as what the current Sekiryuutei brought with him was a corpse of a suspected Holy Person.

Rias was very flummoxed at what she and her Peerages were watching, which is the fact that her only pawn had brought a very suspected corpse of a Holy Person as his only backup?

"Is that really a corpse of a Holy person?" Kiba asked in a very flabbergasted tone as he could still sense the faint Holy Power within the corpse.

"Indeed but who?" Asia looks worried and concerned on who the corpse belongs to that Ben had brought with him.

"Fufufu Oh Ben you naughty boy!" Akeno main sadistically as she senses the Holy power within the corpse Ben brought with him.

(With Sona and her Peerage.)

Sona and her Peerage who was invited to watch the Match between Riser's borrowed Peerage male members of his entire clan against Ben-Kun the current Sekiryuutei, Plumber's Kid Wielder of the Omnitrix and her childhood friend's only Pawn brought in a corpse.

"Did Rias-sama's pawn really just bring up a corpse of a holy person as his back up?!" Gasped Sona's Queen Tsubaki.

"Indeed, does the church know about this?!" Momo proclaimed worried that Ben might have brought in a war.

"If it is indeed one, Oh man, I felt sorry not just for the owner of that corpse but those guys as well." Snorted Saji.

Back with Sirzech, Lord Gremory and Lord Phoenix all watching equally flabbergasted at the fact that the current Sekiryuutei would even dare think of desecrating a holy person's corpse for this Rating Game.

"Who is that boy?" Lord Phoenix asked curiously.

"That, Lord Phoenix is my Ria-tan's only pawn, the current Sekiryuutei." Sirzech proclaimed with excitement to see his little sister's only Pawn's capabilities through this challenge.

"To think that he would do such a thing." Mused Zeoticus Gremory.

(Back in the makeshift Gym replica of Kuoh Academy.)

As The pawns all surrounded Ben the leader began trying to make surrender.

"Tennyson Benjamin! Sekiryuutei of Lady Rias Gremory Peerage!" A pawn proclaimed. "Surrender, you don't stand a chance against the combined peerage of the Phoenix Clan!"

Back with Ben he grunted in annoyance and lay beside the corpse. "Death by Day player!"

"Last chance! Deactivate your Sacred Gear's balance breaker and throw away any weapons you have! So that we can stop this farce of a challenge!"

"I'm not dumb to deactivate my Balance Breaker nor give you any of my weapons! But I promise not to use any of them!" He then picks up a remote from his hidden pocket and activates the school's PA before glancing at the magical screen where the two lords of the two clans are watching. "There are 206 bones in the human body. 207, if I'm watching gossip girls." Ben muttered to himself.

Everyone was confused on why he suddenly has a self awareness that this match is being watched through some kind of Magical mirror projectors when he proclaimed those words.

(With Rias and the Others.)

Hearing the sudden music playing.

"Is that the School's PA system?" Asked a confused Kiba.

"It sure does." Koneko nodded, answering his question.

"But how is he playing that?!" Asked a dumbfounded Rias. "This whole place is all illusion!"

"Fufufu I don't know but this is getting me so hot!" Akeno being her S&M self feeling turns on right now.

They were equally confused like the rest of the audience of this Rating Game.

"Where is that music coming from and what is even that music?" Tsubaki asked in confusion.

Her fellow peerages shrugged a bit as well, also confused as heck.

"Hmm, I think I recognize this song." Momo Hanakai stated. (Sona's Bishop.)

"Wait, you do?" Tsubasa Yura (Sona's Rook)

"Oh yeah I think it's from an American band named NSYNC I think?" Tomoe Meguri (Sona's Knight) Guess.

"Nope, they're not exactly a band, they're practically more like a vocal group of singers like Japanese Idols or Kpops." Reya Kusaka corrected her fellow Peerage Member. "They are quite infamous 90s singer groups in the US."

"Hmm interesting but how exactly Ben-Kun is openly playing the PA of the school when they're just replicas like the entire school for this Rating Game?" Sona herself asked the group but all shrugged and confused at this point.

Saji on the other hand has to hand it to Rias senpai's pawn; he's very creative to actually plan out in using those old bones as a weapon against that many Peerages.

He then looked at the skeleton with a confident look. "Here we go. Maximum effort." After high fiving it.

(Meanwhile with the VIP)

Sirzech was very disturbed at his Sister's Pawn when he started counting bones of a human body and realized what he was planning to do when he proclaimed that he won't be using either his Sacred Gear's balance breaker even though it's already activated along with surrendering his Plumber based Weapons.

Both lords of the Houses Gremory and Phoenix share his thoughts at this point.

"Wait, why is he counting bones?" Zeoticus Gremory asked and his son shrugged his shoulders.

"Beats me father, I'm not entirely sure as well on what Ria-tan's pawn is planning." Sirzech told his father.

"I'm not even gonna ask what's going on at this point, I'm just concerned for my Son and the clan's combined Male Peerages." Sighed Lord Phoenix worriedly and disappointment of feeling utterly humiliated.

Ben backflips upward with a huge leap in front of the pawns, holding the skeleton in front of him as he frowns at them.

🎵Bye bye bye, bye bye🎵

The pawns got into a stance, raising their batons as he glanced at the corpse he carries with him as he smirks under his mask. "Okay peanut, Looks like we're doing that crossover after all." Ben rips out one of the floating ribs of the skeleton, and holds it up in a reverse grip and boosts it with his sacred gear to enhance the decaying bone stronger to pierce through enough in their armor, before throwing it towards the pawns.

🎵Bye bye, Oh oh oh.🎵

The rib bone has a written word on it "Inspired from Deadpool and Wolverine Opening Scene."

The piece of bone soars through the air, like a throwing knife and embedding itself in the head of one of the pawns, dropping him in an instant.

🎵Oh! I'm doing this tonight!🎵

{One of Riser Phoenix's borrowed pawns retired.} Grayfia-san's voice was heard through the magical PA system as Ben made his first movie which disturbed everyone.

🎵You're probably gonna start a fight🎵

Two more pawns rushed at him, and Ben moved forward to meet their attack, holding a humerus in each hand.

🎵I know this can't be right.🎵

He then dodged the first one's strike, moving behind him as he stabbed, yes stabbed, him with one of the bones, don't ask me how he did it, and pulled it out, leaving the pawn to bleed out on floor, before moving towards the other pawn.

He blocked and deflected his Sword strike, before sticking his face with a humerus, and moving behind him and stabbing him in the head with the bone, and somehow the bone got embedded in his skull. He then delivered a back kick to the bone and it popped right through the other side of the pawn's face, luckily due to their regeneration it's not lethal. As he does that he glances where he felt the present of the projection overviewing this fight so he made Ddraig make his Scalemail Helmet mask wink at it as the bone has written words on it.

"Dance and Fight written by CommanderALFA"

{Two pawns of Riser Phoenix's Pawns Retired from the game.} Announced Grayfia through the arena.

Ben now somehow had the spine of Christ in his arms with the skull still attached to it, as he used it like a flail to strike down four more pawns that were charging at him, hitting each of them in the head with Christ's head.

🎵So now it's time to leave and make it alone🎵

{Seven of Riser Phoenix's Pawns Retired.} Was again announced in the game.

Ben stepped back before facing one of the projecting mirrors and then waved forward his both arms, gesturing to come at him, and then thrusted his arms downward, and made a double uppercut gesture with his left and right arm, moving his body with the tune of the music.

(Back Rias and her Peerage on the clubroom)

They all flinch, excluding Akeno who is in pure Bliss at this point when Ben then bluntly uses one of the Holy Person's rib cage as a throwing knife against one of the Pawns who charged at him.

"Damn, Ben-kun really did mean what he meant when he stated that he's not holding back against people, mainly men he sees as bad guys." Flinched and Awe Kiba as he watched how accurate Ben's throwing skills were against the pawns.

"Okay that is very creative Ben-Kun." Mused Koneko at the fact that Ben has also used humerus bones at both hands as she watched him deflect some blows from two more pawns who came at him and used it to eliminate them as a weapon.

"Oh my! Ben you are very disturbing to use that Holy Person's corpse as a weapon you really are a naughty boy fufufu!" Moans Akeno much to Rias Chagrin.

"Seriously Akeno?" Rias sighed at her Best Friend's antics.

As for Asia she was both pale and disturbed at the carnage in front of her as she began to pray. "I humbly request that forgiveness is given to Ben-Kun by that Holy Person's corpse owner from Heaven for-Ugrh!" She grunted in pain when she forgot that she was a devil.

Ben then decided to kiss the helmet of a knocked out Pawn of Riser Phoenix's and then dropped it on the ground as he automatically retired from the Game.

Ben somehow developed a way to sense the magical projectors around them and grab it like he was directly staring at whoever was watching the fight as he looked through the screen which had a glass writing "Alien X Devil" Next to it Was Rias X Ben drawing a heart over it.

🎵I want to see you out that door.🎵

Ben now somehow had the lower body of the skeleton, with all the bones, including pelvis, femur, and everything, still somehow attached together, as he held number Eight pawn, hitting his in the face repeatedly with the feet, as if slapping him for doing something naughty, and then kneed him with the Pawn's spear, making his own weapon to strike and go through his throat causing him to retire.

"Wow Look at him go!" Snorted Tsubasa Yura. "He really is dancing through them!"

Bennia Orcus (Sona's Rook) also chuckles at this. "And he's using that Holy Person's Corpse as a weapon to boot."

Jeez, To desecrated someone's corpse like that!" Snorted Momo Hanakai. "Luckily those Peerage Members of the Entirety of the Phoenix were blessed with the same type of Regeneration as their masters. or else those blows would be lethal."

"I felt bad for those guys." Tsubaki Shinra Snickers (Sona's Queen).

(With the VIP)

Everyone couldn't help to even either laugh or gasp at this point at the Irony of someone for the first time using a holy person's corpse as a weapon in a rating game no less, so they just stared wide-eyed stunned at this moment.

Ben stabs The Ninth pawn in the head with a piece of rib, his blood sputtering out like a fountain.

Ben stepped onto his left leg, doing a pulling back gesture with his right arm, before shuffling his feet and stepping onto his right one, as he repeated the gesture with his left arm, like a dance.

He followed up with the moves, by hopping three times, throwing his arm up with each hop. With the final hop, he split his feet apart as he swung his right arm, doing a bye-bye gesture, while his other hand was on his hips.

🎵Don't really want to make it tough.🎵

Ben jumps up in the air, doing a flip diving on the recently knocked out Ninth Pawn of Riser Phoenix as he catches a femur he had launched in the air earlier, before throwing it at another incoming pawn which makes him the Tenth Pawn.

The bone went through his chest and ribcage and struck his heart, taking out Tenth pawn of Riser Phoenix, retiring him from the Game.

🎵I just want to tell you that I've had enough.🎵

(Back with Rias and the others)

"Damn, he's really going all out with just his Balance Breaker as his defensive armor against their attack while using that corpse as a weapon." Snickers Kiba.

"I felt sorry for whoever owned that Sacred Holy Person's corpse." Rias sighed at her only Pawn's antics against the entire borrowed Male Peerages of the Phoenix Clan for Riser in this game.

"I can't hold it anymore I felt so sorry Ben you are such a naughty boy to even dance through them with this song!" Akeno moans in deep pleasure as she shivers at the Sadistic nature Ben was showing.

"Hmm, He does have good taste in music." Complemented Koneko as she nibbled on a cookie she took from her bag of sweets she brought with her.

Asia on the other couldn't help but be nervous and pale for what Ben is doing regarding the corpse.

He then strikes The 11th pawn in the chin with the makeshift flail made out of skull and spine, throwing him several feet up in the air. The pawn dropped in his back, his legs splitting open enticingly. Ben jumped at the chance, both literally and figuratively, as he jumped up and brought his Christ-skull-spine flail thingy down onto the poor guy's family jewels, ending both him and his bloodline.

🎵Oh Oh oh, You just hit me with the truth. Now girl you're more than welcome to.🎵

The Twelve pawn of Riser Phoenix's clan was on his knees, as Ben held him by his neck and repeatedly hit him in the face with Christ's skull, cracking his skull with it, before dropping the unconscious pawn who retired for healing treatment.

🎵So give me one good reason
Baby come on🎵

Ben then kicked the skull of Jesus away like a soccer ball. "Now this is what I meant when I don't hold back!" As he yelled that out the skull went flying towards a magical mirror projector that was viewing every corner of the arena for the Rating Game.

🎵I know that I can't take no more.🎵

Ben stood with his feet spread apart, his left hand outstretched, as he swayed his waist, his other arm following the movements as he swung back and forth.

🎵It ain't no lie.🎵

Ben fought the Thirteenth Pawn with a rib and an ulna in his hands, twisting the pawn's arm and disarming him, before hitting him with the ulna and then slicing his throat with the rib. Ben then crouched down, holding the ulna in a reverse grip as he struck the pawn in the nuts with it. That seriously made him screech both in terror and in pain, as his bone was crushed by a bone.

🎵I want to see you out that door.🎵

Ben stood tall, throwing his arms up and around a few times, before once again holding his waist with one hand and doing the bye bye gesture with the other.

Those who are all watching these games including the VIPs the ORC Members and The Student Council of Kuoh cringed, mainly the male ones and felt sorry for the Phoenix getting his nuts crushed in with a boosted Ulna bone with enhanced Holy Power in it.

He then jumped on his feet, holding his hands behind his back, as he shuffled his feet and swayed his waist a few times, before raising his right arm up and swinging it like a cowboy.

Ben pulled out three of Christ's fingers and then threw them at three incoming number 14, 15 and 16 pawns of Riser Phoenix's clan, nailing each of them straight in the head, and blessing them with Jesus's touch and a free ticket to visit him or if they survive the holy power impaled through them then just send them unconscious and wounded in the hospital.

Ben stood with his feet closed, as he hopped and swinged his arm like a cowboy. He then held his hand behind his back once more, before bobbing his head to the tune of the music. He then hopped once more, turning towards his other side while swinging his other arm like a cowboy, before holding his hands behind once more as he bobbed his head.

🎵Don't really want to make it tough. I just want to tell you that I've had enough.🎵

A Borrowed Number 1 Knight of Riser Phoenix's Clan was struck down with a bone logged into his throat.

🎵Might sound crazy but it ain't no lie.🎵

Ben spun around a few times, throwing hands out with each spin. Before reaching down and grabbing his own butt as he performed some pelvic thrusts.

🎵Baby bye bye bye🎵

Ben struck another one with the makeshift nunchuk he fashioned out of Christ's arm, before wrapping it around a second Knight's neck and pulling hard, managing to somehow snap his neck in the process to cut the air supply in his throat, knocking him out.

🎵I don't want to be your fool in this game for two🎵

Ben did a right kick cross dance, shrugged both shoulders three times and spread in and out both his arms before he spun like a ballerina and then waved his left hand.

Ben stabbed a third knight in both knees, and multiple spots in his chest, and through the chin with multiple smaller bones, before jumping up to kick him in the chin, before pulling out the bone in his chin, and followed it with a spinning back kick to the head.

🎶So I'm leaving you behind!🎶

He then worked hard to pull free one of the leg bones, holding the skeleton in a hold between his own legs as he tried to pull out the aged bones.

🎶I don't want to make it tough!🎶
(Make it tough)

Somehow, after several moments of pulling a twisting, the entire leg of the skeleton popped out of the skeleton, the recoil of his actions threw him back, and he accidentally hit the Fourth Borrowed Knight of Riser Phoenix's Clan that was rushing at him from behind, hitting him in the head and dropping him down and Ben jumped back on his own feet.

🎶But I've had enough

Several others, the remaining Four Knights and Eight Rooks charge at him, with their Maces, Swords and Spears ready to strike, but Ben uses the bones he just ripped out like a nunchuk, the bones still holding together somehow, despite the tendons and ligaments having become petrified ages ago.

He ducked and struck the final Bishop behind his leg, sweeping him off his feet with the leg nunchuk, before rising back up and sticking him down with a strike to the chest, while the Bishop was still in the air.

A Secondary borrowed Bishop tried to sneak behind him and attack him from behind, but before he could even land a hit, Ben swung his leg nunchuk back, hitting him in the jaw and dropping him on the floor with a broken jaw.

🎶Don't really want to make it tough
I just want to tell you that I've had enough.🎶

Ben then did a sexy dance, swaying his body like a wave enticingly, before making a gun finger gesture with his left hand swaying his hips.

The Remaining Queen and Riser Himself stood nervously and bewildered at the carnage in front of him, as Ben slowly and casually walked in front of them and stood there calling to his Gauntlet Sacred Gear which glows both in his armored arms.

He spread out his arms as his armored arms and silently chanted Juggernaut Drived.

*Gasping in stunned.* He glanced at the magical projector camera surrounding the battlefield. ~I'm Soaking wet right now.~ He grinned beneath his mask and then growled at Riser and his remaining Queen.

BEN POV

"To be clear to the readers! I'm not proud of any of this. The wanton violence, the whiff of necrophilia, it isn't who I am, It isn't who I wanna be, Even though I'm a devil incarnate, who I wanna be? Well to help you all to understand if this is really happening I gotta take you all back to the point where we first met Riser Phoenix."

DATE: May 19, 2008
Monday Afternoon.

At around ten in the morning when Ben and Asia, saying goodbye to Ben's parents before leaving the house and before making their way through their neighborhood towards the academy, the both wonder just what exactly was going on with Rias that had made her do what she did last night. When he had woken up and bumped into Asia as they were getting ready for the day, Ben had retold her everything that happened.

"Oh no. I hope there's something we can do." Asia had said when he finished recounting his story.

Ben could only nod his head in agreement to this. Rias had saved both their lives after they'd been murdered by fallen angels and it was only right that they do whatever they could to return the favor.

As they approached the academy gates, they were met by Kiba and Koneko who were approaching the academy from the opposite direction. As they entered the school as a single group, Ben also told them what had happened last, though he made sure to edit out a few details that weren't important to the story (namely the part where Rias straddled him) and only focus on the important facts.

"I think you're right, Ben." Kiba admitted as they made their way around the school exterior to its rear where the old school building was located. "I've noticed Rias acting strangely too. Something is clearly bothering her."

Ben hid the relief he felt that someone else had also seen that something had been bothering Rias for a while.

"So, what do you think it is?" Ben asked, eager for more insight from someone who's known Rias longer than he had.

"I'd say it was House of Gremory troubles, something that we won't be privy to..." Kiba started explaining before he suddenly trailed off mid sentence and stopped walking while they continued walking a few steps before they realized he had stopped. They looked back to see a look of worry on his face.

"What is it? what's wrong?" Ben asked, not liking the expression the Gremory Knight had on his face.

"Well...there is one thing I can think that could cause her to act like this...and if it's that then it's bad news." He glanced at Koneko who looked at him puzzled for a second before her expression also turned into one of concern.

When Ben tried asking for more information, Kiba didn't give him anything else. Instead, the four of them pressed forward towards the old school building and, before long they were entering the clubroom itself, opening the doors to see Rias and Akeno already inside waiting for them...with a third person standing before Rias' desk with her back to them though Ben recognised the silver hair and blue maid outfit.

The third figure turned around to confirm Ben's suspicions; Grayfia.

"Ah, good, you're all here." Rias observed from her seat with her elbows on the table and her chin resting on her interlocking fingers,

"My lady, now that the rest of your servants have arrived, may I have your permission to speak openly?" Grayfia asked, both politely and professionally.

Rias cast a quick glance at Grayfia before looking back towards Ben and the others who had just arrived and nodding her head slightly.

"Very well. Let's hear what she has to say. For those who aren't aware, it's about...." Rias began but stopped speaking as a large, bright orange teleportation circle suddenly materialized in the corner of the clubroom. The sigil in the center of the circle was one that was, unsurprisingly, unfamiliar to Ben so he presumed it was the sigil of another noble Devil House. When bright flames suddenly burst out of the circle, Asia flinched fearfully and edged behind Ben, taking hold of Ben's arm in the process.

"Ahh, and Riser Phenex has finally arrived in the human realm." A new, masculine voice drew out from within the flames.

The burning flames disappeared along with the circle to reveal the new arrival. He was a young man who looked to be in his very early twenties. He had short blond hair and dark blue eyes. He wore a burgundy blazer with gold embroidery and white, slightly unbuttoned shirt underneath, a matching pair of burgundy trousers and black dress shoes.

It took one look at his outfit and the obnoxious look on his face for Ben to come up with a single word to describe this guy.

Dickhead.

Grayfia took the opportunity to properly introduce the new arrival.

"This is Lord Riser Phenex, third heir to the House of Phenex and fiancé to the next head of the House of Gremory.

'Fiancé?!'

Suddenly all the pieces suddenly fit together and everything made sense.

Ben's head snapped towards Rias to see her staring at Riser with a hardened expression, clearly hiding her emotions from showing what she truly thought of the guy who had just barged into their clubroom.

. . . . .

"Hmm, Riser finds he must compliment the queen of his beloved Rias. This tea is most delicious." Riser drawled with a sneer as he drank the tea that Akeno had made for him.

Despite it being painfully obvious what Rias thought of Riser, hospitality was something that was still expected of a noble, pure-blooded devil. That was the reason that Rias was now sitting on the sofa with Riser who had his right arm draped around her shoulders while his hand played with strands of Rias' crimson hair.

From his spot, stood behind the sofa opposite to Rias and Riser beside Asia, Kiba and Koneko, Ben chewed on the inside of his cheek as he felt a tick slowly form in his struggle to contain himself from saying something without thought at the sight of Riser acting so familiar with Rias despite it being so obvious that she wanted nothing to do with him.

"I appreciate the compliment." Akeno replied with an empty smile as she held the tea tray close to her chest and returned it to its table before moving to join the others standing on the other side of the room.

Rias finally reached the limit of what she was willing to endure when Riser moved his hand onto her bare thigh and stroked it lecherously. "That's enough, Riser!" She declared firmly, removing herself from his hold and standing up from the sofa and turning to glare down at Riser who remained where he sat. "It seems I need to make myself clear again; I will not...nor will I ever marry you!"

Riser simply smirked and laid back on the sofa. "But, my dear Rias. Surely you remember that our marriage has already been arranged between our two great houses and that this marriage will take place before long. You are aware of the need to increase the number of pure-blooded devils, right? We're still trying to recover our numbers from the last war after all. You don't want to bring shame and dishonor to your family, do you?"

"I have no intention of bringing shame to my family!" Rias retorted hotly, glaring daggers at Riser now. "However, this is something I will never accept! My husband will be chosen by me and nobody else, got it?!"

Riser seemed to lose the last vestiges of patience by this point and rose up out of his chair quickly and suddenly stood right in front of Rias, took hold of her chin with his thumb and index finger and brought her face extremely close to his.

"Listen here, Rias." He breathed dangerously, all previous courtesy and politeness gone as his patience waned. "Riser has a duty to uphold the reputation of the House of Phenex! Riser will not allow anyone to besmirch that name or reputation. Even if I have to incinerate the rest of your servants, you will be coming back with me to the Underworld!"

Ben took several deep breaths to control himself and clutched the back of the sofa to steady himself, his knuckles turning white as he tightened his grip on the sofa. He wanted nothing more than to activate his Sacred Gear and just punch Riser in his smug, fucking face and teach him a lesson but he knew that that would cause so many more problems, and not just for him but for Rias as she was his master.

In the end, Ben had to settle for playing out the scenario in his head multiple times, changing the details ever so slightly but with the end goal remaining of causing as much pain to the arrogant prick as he was capable of.

"There is no need for such drastic measures, Lord Riser." Grayfia interjected from her spot behind the sofa Rias and Riser had just been sitting on. "As you are aware, I was sent here by order of Sirzechs to ensure that there was no disruption of the peace. I must strongly request that you refrain from making such threats again."

Even though she hadn't raised her voice as she said this or even changed her facial expression to express hostility of any sort, Ben still felt a shiver run up his spine as Grayfia said this. In that second, Ben had no doubt that it would be suicide to ignore Grayfia's hidden warning.

Even Riser appeared to have the brains to make out the hidden threat and released his hold on Rias' chin and took a step backwards with a smirk and shrug of his shoulders.

"When one hears such a warning from the one known by many as the 'ultimate queen' then even Riser becomes somewhat fearful."

"Lord Sirzechs foresaw that there would be a complete breakdown in communications between the two parties. In lieu of this possibility, he sent me here to also present a last resort option to resolve the conflict of interests." Grayfia resumed, continuing her explanation to the two noble devils.

"Of course he did." Rias muttered under her breath before adding in a louder voice, "So what is this last resort my brother had in mind then?"

"If my lady is insisting on putting her own personal preferences above those of her family then it has been decided that this matter be decided via a Rating Game," Grayfia replied stoically.

'Rating Game?' Ben wondered, feeling he'd heard of it before though he couldn't remember where from exactly.

"-What's a Rating Game?-" He whispered to his teammates under his breath.

Kiba was the one to answer his question. "It's a game that noble devils play amongst themselves. Essentially, it's a battle between a master and their servants to determine a victor. We're at a few disadvantages with participating in one of those though."

"Disadvantages? Such as?"

"Well, Riser has taken part in numerous Rating Games while we've never even qualified to take part in a game before." Kiba stated with a look of poorly contained worry on his face.

"And the other disadvantage?" Ben muttered with worry.

"Riser finds he must ask, my dear Rias; is this quaint group of servants the total extent of your peerage?" Riser inquired with a condescending sneer towards the others who stood opposite them. Ben glared right back at the arrogant asshole.

Rias also narrowed her eyes in a glare at what Riser was insinuating.

"So what if they are?" She retorted hotly as she crossed her arms under her chest.

Riser let out a hearty laugh at Rias' answer and snapped his fingers. As he did so, another orange and fiery teleportation circle materialized in the clubroom; this time, fifteen people appeared from inside it.

Ben noted that every single one of Riser's servants happened to be young women.

'It seems he only looks for a specific type for his servants.' He observed, examining each of the young women that acted as Riser's pieces to see that they were all very beautiful; each in their own, different way. It appeared as though Riser had thought of his peerage as some sort of collection book, collecting all the different types of girl. 'We're definitely gonna have a lot of problems if I do hold back in this type of battle against this guy's Peerage because I don't officially harm girls even if they're bad guys.' He thought with a frown.

"Riser has his complete set. You don't stand a chance." He chuckled darkly as he gestured back to the fifteen new arrivals. "A King's value is based on the worth of their peerage and you are lacking greatly, my dear."

It took every ounce of self-control Ben had to not say anything back to Riser for the way he was speaking to Rias so, instead, he clenched his fists tighter, his grip on the back of the sofa tightening greatly; so great, in fact that there was an audible *crack* as he split the wooden frame on top of the sofa, inadvertently drawing attention to himself from everyone in the room.

Rias turned to look at him with a look of surprise as she noted the expression on his face.

"Ben, calm down." She told him, shocked by the intense glare he was giving Riser.

Now wasn't the time for him to draw attention to himself.

Riser looked down over at Ben and, noting the glare he was receiving, smirked snidely and chuckled. "Looks like one of your servants has something to say. What is it, lowborn? You got something you want to say to one of your betters?"

Ben was just about to finally let go and tell Riser exactly what he wanted to say to the bastard 'noble' when Ddraig's voice abruptly entered his head.

~Calm yourself, kid. Save it for the fight.~ The ancient dragon told him calmly but also with caution in his voice. As his words passed through him, Ben took a deep breath and quickly felt himself calm down.

Never having broken eye contact with Riser as he did this, Ben then gave him a small, hollow smile of politeness. "Nothing that can't wait till the Rating Game." He said, amazed at how calm he now was.

Riser's smirk fell a little as he failed to get Rias' servant to rise to the bait and use it as an excuse to show off how outmatched his fiancé truly was. Having lost this opportunity, Riser just sneered and glared back at Ben.

"I look forward to watching you get crushed. If you survive, maybe then you'll learn your place."

"Grayfia. Inform my brother that I accept his terms. If participating in a Rating Game is the only way my family will understand then so be it." Rias announced to the silver-haired maid, quickly changing the subject.

Grayfia bowed her head slightly. "Understood. I will inform Sirzechs at once. In recognition of Lord Riser's prowess and the fact that Lady Rias has never participated in a Rating Game before, it has been suggested that a handicap be assigned and for the match to take place ten days from now. Is that agreeable with both parties?" She looked to both Rias and Riser as she added the last part.

Riser simply scoffed and joined his servants. "Ha! You can have all the time in the world! It still won't make any difference! There's no way you will ever be able to beat me, my dear. I look forward to finally putting your stubbornness to rest and claiming you as my bride!"

He snapped his fingers again and disappeared in the fires of a bright orange teleportation circle that materialized beneath him and consumed both him and his peerage in the flames before they were teleported away. Riser cackle with laughter as he left and the sound echoed around the clubroom for a few seconds before it faded away and returned the room to silence.

"And you, my lady? Do you agree to the handicap?" Grayfia inquired politely. Rias stared at the spot where Riser had teleported away and sighed heavily.

"As much as I hate to admit it, we do need time to prepare. Ben and Asia need to train with their Sacred Gears and Akeno, Koneko, Kiba and myself need to hone our own skills and stay sharp for the match."

"Very well. I will inform Sirzechs that the handicap has been accepted by both parties," Grayfia informed her with a final bow before disappearing in a magic circle of her own.

(Several minutes later)

"So what is it we just agreed to?" Ben asked curiously as he walked around the school towards its front gates. He had heard the name 'Rating Game' two days ago when Sona had brought it up but he still didn't have any idea as to what it was exactly. Once Grayfia had departed, the conversation had quickly switched to Rias and Akeno immediately starting work on organizing the schedule for the next ten days. Due to the importance of these next ten days, Rias had canceled all further club activities and had dismissed everyone else for the rest of the day. Before they left the room though, Rias had told each of them that, once they get back home they were to pack for a ten-day trip and meet up back in the clubroom early in the morning. When Ben had asked her why they would need to pack, Rias responded by telling him that....

"...if my family is forcing me to go through with this Rating Game then the least they can do is help me out a bit. I think being allowed to use one of our summer homes while we train is reasonable enough."

And so, they were all sent home while Rias went to arrange their accommodation for the training and, when Ben asked about what to tell his parents about school, informed them that she would straighten out their impromptu trip with the school - she knew people on the board after all - so that Ben's parents wouldn't be concerned about him and Asia going away for ten days.

"In basic terms, it's a competition between two Devils and their peerage." Kiba explained as he walked on Ben's right, coming to a stop as they reached the school gates.

"Essentially, it's a way to measure a Devil's strength in a way that also reflects their social standing in the Underworld."

"Right...and how many has that dickhead won?" Ben wondered, his mind conjuring up an image of Riser in his head, much to his distaste.
Kiba held a pained expression on his face. "Out of the ten matches that Riser has participated in, he has only ever lost twice."

"Shit. Sounds like we've got our work cut out for us if we want to teach that asshole a lesson."

"We sure do." Kiba agreed with a small smile at Ben's confidence.
As the four of them waved each other goodbye until tomorrow, they split up and headed off in opposite directions, Kiba and Koneko going one way while Ben and Asia went the other way back home.

When they returned to the Tennyson household the first thing that they did upon seeing Ben's parents lounging around on the sofa watching TV was tell them that they would be going away for the next ten days as part of their club activities.

Ben was surprised when his parents made no effort to seem concerned about this and fully supported him getting involved with outdoor activities with his new friends. They hadn't even bothered asking him if it had been allowed by the school...not that he was going to be the one to bring up that subject.

It was at this point that Ben's mother suddenly realized that Asia didn't have enough outdoor clothes for the trip. Asia tried to play it off that she had enough but it was a poor lie that everyone saw through instantly. She had then been swiftly kidnapped by Sandra who left the house with the intention of taking Asia clothes shopping. When Asia had tried to stop her, Sandra had dismissed her hesitation straight away, stating that she had loved clothes shopping with Ben's cousin and had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to do the same with Asia.

While the two of them were gone, Ben disappeared up to his room and began packing himself for the trip. Before long, he was packed. 'Now I'm ready for whatever Rias has got in store for me!' He declared confidently.

A/N: And cut anyways there missing clips from the LN and the anime which is the dream wedding from En since Ben is not Issei who is a massive pervert and has a desire to actually do married Rias like in his dream I'll change that part where he also will and definitely have a conversation with Ddraig on the next chapter.
