Chapter 1?

I wake up due to the sunlight thru my window. As I shook my head trying to clear my vision, I suddenly became intrigued. My window doesn't allow any light in so where was all this light coming from. My vision finally cleared and I looked at my surroundings. I was in a room full of mirrors that had a gigantic window to the right of me. I stood up and realized I was still in my pajamas; I became embarrassed; I normally didn't wear clothes like this except at home. I jumped when I heard a sound coming toward the door.

There were footsteps coming my way and I started to become scared. I looked for a place to hide and to my horror there wasn't any. I was about to go out the window when I heard the door open behind me. I turned and saw the most handsome man I ever saw, but he looked familiar. It took a minute realized that it was the man in my dreams, the one that was always talking about teatime and saying weird rhyming sentences.

I, then, realized the bunny I saw last night was right beside him. I tried to remember what happened. I saw the bunny in my house and touched him. I got shocked and jumped back. Then I saw the bunny go thru the hallway closet door and tried to grab him. I slipped and fell, except instead of falling to the floor I kept on falling. I fell asleep while still in mid air.

I looked at the two and tried to decipher why I was here and not at home. And whether not this is a dream or not. Baka (idiot), of course this is a dream, I mean how could this actually be happening. The two started walking towards me, and me being a "girl" I took steps backwards. I was even more afraid when I heard the bunny talking. He said, "This is the wrong Alice, Tarrant. I think she is afraid of us." "Nonsense, a flower cannot be afraid of the sun, and the sun has to light the way of the flower so that it can bloom." Tarrant said.
I looked at them both confused. "Why am I here, and who are you people? First you show up in my sleep and now I don't know if this is reality or I'm dreaming again. I mean seriously dude or Tarrant or what ever your face, why are you speaking in riddles and who is the flower and the sun?!?!?!?!?!" I rave.

Tarrant had on a goofy smile on his face and whispered something to the bunny. The bunny started hopping away looking at a hand held clock and shaking his head. Once the bunny was gone. Tarrant turned to me. He looked me up and down. I blushed against my will and look away. Oh, monkey's banana.

When I look back in his direction, he was really close to me. I didn't even notice him move. I screamed and jumped back hitting the wall. He came closer to me and yelled joyfully, "Alice you came back, I knew you would come back, I just knew it. You how I knew it, I asked the raven's desk and the needle pin for advice and they always give great advice. They said you would come back to save us. Do you know happy I am to see your right at the moment? I am really happy, extremely happy." I looked at him as if I seen an old man dancing naked while singing way off tune and then expecting money. "Well, it is good to see you in humor but I really must be going and my name is Aliceta, only my nickname is Alice, but I am not the one you are looking for. So would you please back off?" I said huffily.

Tarrant still having that goofy expression on his face back away slowly, as if I would run any minute now. He has a sharp mind even though he is crazy. I would run as far as I could if I could, only if I could, but since he is in front of the door I can't. Ugh, his weird talking is rubbing off on me. Tarrant broke me from my train of thought by saying, "I knew you were Alice. I just knew it." Now he was grinning so wide I think it hurt him by doing it. If it did, he didn't show any signs of it.

"I seriously have no clue what your talking about Mad-hatter person, but I would like to go home." I told him. Then the strangest thing happened, his face suddenly got dark and he spoke in a scottish accent while saying, "How did you know that I was called that Alice? I never told you and I told other people never to tell you. Did Pikey tell you? That bloody fool show... I will get him back for this. I didn't want you to know, I didn't want the rose of the light filling the darkness to find out the helper of nikodion name." Very confused I replied, "Um....... nobody told me. I sort of guessed. Since you have on a hat with needles and stuff I thought you were one of those old hatters. Also you kind of sound mad to me, so I just put the two together and came up with the mad hatter. Sorry if I offended you."

The darkness in his eyes left and he became happy again. "Man, Alice you are so smart. I couldn't have a chicken's pine cone without the glasses and the ants of wonder's help, but I bet you could." Tarrant said, confusing me even more than before. "What? Oh, never mind. The thing is how can I get out of here", I mutter.

The next thing I know, Tarrant is pulling me out of the room and into a lighted hallway. It had splatter paint on it as if there was a fight over the paint and it just splattered everywhere. There was one thing I noticed on the walls were pictures, pictures of what I believed would be in this world. Pictures of worms, talking flowers, castles, weird clouds, ECT. I don't understand what this place is, but it makes me wonder, really wonder if I am actually in a different place instead of dreaming.

Three minutes, four hallways, five doors, 6 rooms later, I was in a ballroom, the floor made of ice. I fell flat on my butt when I step on it. I hear whispers and laughter and I finally look around the room. I sit up straight and fold my legs when I see people staring at me. I glance at Tarrant for help, but he is already at the other end of the room already. I try to get back up, when I fall again. Frustrated, I slid over to the other wall and press my hands to it. I slowly get up and stand on my feet. It took 6 minutes to get used to the ice, but I was able to walk on it with out falling.

I glided over to Tarrant. He was sitting crossed legged on the floor, and talking to the most beautiful woman I ever saw. I had a funny feeling I had seen her before, but I just can't place it. Confused I walked to Tarrant and sat down Japanese styled. They were talking too fast to understand what they were saying. They looked like they were fighting about something and looked like at any moment they would be at each other throats. Finally, the two stopped fighting long enough to look at me.

They slowed their pace in talking and I could finally understand what they were fighting about. Me. "Your Majesty, I'm telling you this is Alice. I can't be mistaken about this. And you know the reason as well", Tarrant said stubbornly. "Well what do you suppose we do, she can't be Alice. Alice is a nice, caring, stubborn girl who would help anyone." Her Majesty said. "That sounds a lot like how I used to be," I whispered. Somehow they heard me and turned their heads. Tarrant was wearing a Triumphant smile like someone winning the gold medal at the Olympics.

Sighing, Her Majesty muttered, "Fine Tarrant, you won. Well what do we do with Alice? Fractious day is only 2 weeks away; you find a way to get her to help us. You might be able to do it, your MAD." With that she waves us away and we exit from the room.

I turn around and look at Tarrant. His eyes are so full of light that the sun must have been there shining down on me. I open my mouth to speak, but Tarrant shushes me. He takes a deep breath and says, "That was the White Queen Eliza. She is supposed to be the one in charge, but the red Queen took the crown. She has been terrorizing the poor people of Wonderland for the past 45 years. We really need your help Alice. Please help us." His eyes pleaded with me, saying please help, please help.

I sigh and said, "Let me think about it. But first I need a change of cloths and I need a day to understand this place and a night's rest before I give it any thought at all." Tarrant gave me a thoughtful stare and finally nodded his head. He grabs my arm and pulls me down another hallway. Thankfully, I needed to only go thru one room. When we got into the room, I gasped. In the room was dresses upon dresses. It was full of them.

Tarrant pulled me over and said that I needed to pick out a dress that I like and I nodded. I went down rows and rows of dresses before landing in front of one in particular. It was a Black dress that went past the knees. The back was covered and the front only went down about an inch from my neck. It was had spaghetti straps and black lace coming from the straps. The dress had a corset and flowed down from it. It didn't look like a dress that was fancy, but it didn't look bad either. "Tarrant, I found a dress that I like, what should I do now." I asked. No one responded. "Tarrant," I said again. Still, no one answered.

"Tarrant, you're scaring me. Why aren't you responding?" I grab the dress and shoes and walked over to where we once stood. To my horror, I find Tarrant on the floor, unconscious. I shake him a couple of times and he doesn't do anything. "Tarrant, wake up, wake up Tarrant." I whispered. He finally opens his eyes and chokes out, "Alice, they, the red queen's guards, are coming. Put on the dress in your hands and get out of here. I'll be fine, no need to worry. I'm mad." He winks and falls unconscious once again.

I walk over to the changing room and put on the dress. I grab Tarrant and haul him into another room with a couch. I set him down on the couch and walked away leaving a note.

Note:

Tarrant, I'm leaving like I said two nine to fifteen acorns.

Thank you for Kipperminet, so I'm going to ask tice.

I'll think about what you said, but I wont promise anything.

Ok

A.C.

The place was like a maze, turning this way or that. It took me 20 minutes to find the back door. I peeked outside to see if anybody is there, looking left then right. I step out and wonder down the path. I feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, except the road isn't yellow, it's a brownish-gray color. I walk along what appears to be a savanna. It is not too cool or hot, it is just right for me and I stopped for a minute. My moment was ruined when I heard hooves pounding on the road and I ran to find shelter. As I did so, I fell into a hole that was covered up by tall grass. The horse, at least I think they are horses, passed me going to the place that I was just at; I waited a couple of minutes. I got out of the hole with my dress dirty and my butt hurting. I gathered myself and walked along the road once again.

As time pass the scenery started to change. It went from a savanna to a forest. I walked into the woods; it was starting to look creepy. I got only a little way in when I came to a split in the road. Thankfully, there was a map and the sign is in English; I could read it. If I turned left I would go to Giver Central Community City. If I turned right, Gum Drops Fall. I didn't like my choices, and I was about to give up and turn back when I see two overly chubby boys walking from behind the trees. As they walked closer, I saw they we identical twins and bald. They reached me and said in unison, "Which way. Which way is right, which is wrong. Take a step to find yourself. Speaking out of term, not that we do, understand we are not the only ones. Alice, we came to take you to your destined place. Mad Hatter sent a signal, they are coming, follow us."

Getting more confused by the minute, I follow them, and asked, "May I inquire who you two are?" The first one said he was twiddle Dee, and the other one was twiddle Dum, then they started to fight about who was who. I was starting to get irritated by their arguments and I just met them. I was about to tell them to shut up, when I heard footsteps and hooves behind us. The twins fell quiet and they both grabbed my hands. We ran for what seemed like an eternity, we stopped right outside a rickety old house, well more like a shed. I couldn't tell which one it was, but they were forcing me in. Scared half to death, I started pulling backwards. The Twiddles hissed, "Alice, we need to get inside, or they'll be able to find you. You don't want to die do you?" Reluctantly, I followed them inside.

Twenty minutes later, I heard someone shout, "Find her, find Alice. Do not stop until she is found. We cannot allow her to escape." I shivered, what did they want with me? I didn't do anything to them, or am I going to. No, that can't be. I'm not strong enough to do anything and I don't want to face them. This seriously can't be happening. What am I going to do; I'm in a rickety old house with soldiers, I think, chasing me and I'm following the Twiddles, who are a pair of idiots if I do say so myself.

Could this get any worse and before you say anything, it can and it does. Not a minute after I think this someone shouts, "Look in that shack to see if anyone is in there!" I was starting to panic when I was shoved in a box in the back of the shack. I was about to say something when the Twiddles poked their heads in. "Stay in there Alice, we'll get you out of here." They said as they put the lid on the box. I stayed as still as I could when heard the door open. "What are you two doing in here," asked the person. "Well I was trying to prove something to my brother but then he ran and then I chased him into here. Then we got into a fight and then we heard you guys and got scared, so we stayed put. That's why we're in here, right." "Right," said the other twiddle. The person was quiet for a long time before he spoke, "Alright then but I'll have to take you back to the captain. He'll question you." I heard shuffling and a door shutting. I didn't dare move until I heard, what I presume was the captain, say, "She isn't here, move to a new place, we have to find her. You two idiots can stay here in case you see her coming this way." I then heard hooves and feet pounding away from the area.

I got out of the box and went to the door. Just when I was about to open the door the Twiddles open it up making me jump. "Alice it is ok to come out now, we need to continue our journey," they said in unison. I stood there for a moment, but still went with them. What was I supposed to do? Stay and possibly get captured or go with them and not get captured. The odds were in their favor, for the time being anyway. 20 minutes later we came to a stop.
