"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Maria yelled to the nurse standing in between the doorframe that separated the hallway from her room. After her encounter with Alice, she was ordered, like Jefferson, to be brought back to her room. "Maria, honey," the nurse said calmly, "you need to see Doctor Allen."
"No. If I have to talk to a doctor, it'll be the one Alice has," Maria demanded, "and I won't talk to anyone else." With a sigh, the nurse set out to room 630 to fetch Dr. Stein in hopes that she wouldn't interrupt too much between the doctor and his patient.
It was about two minutes that she had waited for the doctor. In the span she had waited, she had time to think. All those people that she had killed, their life taken from them, how their family must have felt, it haunted her. She regretted all of it.
Her feelings weren't known to many people. When she was around others, the constant feeling of rage overpowered the hidden feeling of sorrow. Her actions were not her fault, but many people couldn't understand that. Inside, she was actually a caring person. Outside, she was something different.
Maria couldn't control how she felt, or even try to explain her feelings. When she did, her voice would create a shift of calmness to something not as pleasant.
Most of what had happened in her life was not her fault, but someone else's. If she had the chance to, she would take that person out instantly, but she couldn't. It was like he was a part of her, and in most instances, he was.
He was too possessive, that was for sure. He was also very mad at the world; she never knew why. But what really impacted Maria greatly was his hatred for humanity.
Whatever he said to do, she would do it. It was as if he controlled her life.
He didn't hate all people, though; he carried a slight admiration towards Maria. She opposed of this, but never had the courage to tell him. She feared the man inside her. When he hurt them, all those people, it damaged them completely.
Little did he know that he was damaging Maria the most.

"Hello, Maria," greeted Dr. Stein to his new patient, "what can I do for you today?"
"Well," she said slowly, "there's a man inside me. I don't know when he will come out, so I have to talk fast."
The doctor nodded in response.
"Okay, so," she said nervously, "there's this man. His name is Kyle. Sometimes, Kyle does crazy things. But what's weird is when he does those things, I feel myself doing them too. I don't know why, and I'm scared. I can't keep letting him kill all those people. He can't keep making me do it." Before she knew it, she was crying.
Dr. Stein laid a comforting hand on her back as she held her head in her hands. "Maria, it's okay, we're here to help you. Now tell me, what does Kyle do, other than making you do the bad stuff you already mentioned?"
"Um, well," she sniffled, "he's always mad, so somehow I am too. I just want to be happy for once. And he won't let me doing anything I want. He does what he wants to me and, I," she couldn't continue with the rest.
"It's okay, Maria. I'll help you through this."

The doctor left soon afterwards, and Maria was left all alone, well, of course, with the accompaniment of Kyle.
