Reason for Containment:  Schizophrenia (?)

"WELCOME BACK, ALICE," said Doctor Stein. She sat up from her uncomfortable position that she was in and looked at everything around her. Everything seemed similar, but if she were to sort everything out, a blank space would take up her mind. It wasn't like she had forgotten anything, it was just that she couldn't recognize it at the time.

"You've been out about a day," informed the doctor, "from an anxiety attack, it seems." Her eyes still scanned the room, and things started to become familiar. "But Alice, it wasn't an anxiety attack, was it?" She looked at him blankly in response. "I was there when you fell to the ground, I saw the look on your face, if you can please, tell me what you saw." She stared at the wall in front of her, not willing to give in what she saw. And then, the doctor spoke again, "or who you saw."

After minutes of silence, Dr. Stein pulled out a piece of wrinkled folded paper from his jacket pocket. He was a fairly old man, a few gray hairs here and there. He wore glasses, too. The way he spoke showed his years of experience with working, and his gentleness showed a message that he would not give up on his patients.

"Alice, you said you want to get better, right? And I know you truly do, but here it also says that, well, you can't be fixed" he said referring to the note she wrote to him the previous day. "You can, trust me." He then walked out of 630 and in came Mister Hatter.

"Well, don't you look marvelous this evening" he said to her. "What happened?" She asked. He was surprised that she spoke, but he had to mask his emotion for her sake. "Doc said you passed out. Said you looked scared."

"It was," "Henry" he interrupted. "Look kid, I care about you, I really do," he said truthfully, "but you can't keep letting this Henry kid take over your life." He started rambling, but Alice couldn't take it. Anger grew inside her, she felt insulted, and before she knew it, her frustration took over her voice. "Get out!" She said pointing towards the door, "leave!" Without saying another word, he turned towards the door and exited the room.

"Alice, please talk to me." Henry said. She hasn't spoken to anyone that day since Mister Hatter left her room. "Alice, look, I'm sorry, please, just talk to me," but still, she ignored her. "I know what I did was wrong, and I'm sorry Alice, please forgive me." She looked in the opposite direction he was in, but he would appear in front of her.

"Alice?" A feminine voice that led into the doorways spoke suddenly. It was a nurse. Both the girl and the boy drew their attention to her, but it only seemed like the girl gave her attention. "Dinner is ready in the cafeteria." Alice nodded her head politely in response as the nurse stepped out and into the hall.

She got off her bed and took steps towards the hall. It wasn't that she wanted to go out, because she felt like being alone at moment, but it was because she wanted to get away from Henry.

"Alice," he said grabbing her arm, "wait." She pulled her arm away from his grasp. Her resistance was intolerable to the boy, but he couldn't have harmed her like he did before. He was trying to make amends with her, and he couldn't risk hurting her without her trust. On the other hand, Alice felt free. It was at little times she got independence, and those times were usually short.

"I've got to go, Henry," she said.
