I was drenched in sweat, still running from that creature who I knew was somehow Kevin. My hair was wet and matted to my face. My legs didn't want to move another muscle, but I knew I had to keep going.
The police still had not come and I'm starting to wonder if they ever would.
I couldn't hold on much longer, Kevin was already starting to catch up with me. "Think Alice! Think!" I muttered.

There! Across the road! A big forest with thousands upon thousands of trees. I could run for hours in there! He would never find me! I quickly ran across the street, still being chased and ran into the woods.

The forest was much harder to run in than I expected. The moss covered ground was slippery, and I tripped on a few roots that hid under the mud.

Kevin winced as he fell to the ground, he had tripped on a root as well. Now was my chance! I ran behind a fallen tree and waited, holding my breath.
