There are ten things you need to know...!

#1. Sorry guys. I'm not really sure where this is going 'ship' wise. It may end up being Lams, maybe Hamliza, maybe Alex won't even find a partner. I'm not sure, so please, try to refrain from telling me I need to pair people up. That's not what this story is about. 

#2. For awhile this story is going to seem like a lot of words and it's going to be a little hard to read. But I'm writing about Hamilton's life slightly before he arrives in the US, and his life then wasn't all fluffy and easy to read. So the story will eventually get fluffier and easier to read.

#3. This is a modern day HIGH SCHOOL AU. For now.

#4. All characters go to a prestigious High School in the heart of NYC. It's run like a college, it has dorms students live in, kids can get scholarships or parents can pay for them, etc.

#5. There will be a lot of quotes and references. I'm fan girl trash. Deal with it.

#6. I write when I get inspired. Updates will be sporadic but if you guys pester me to update I'll probably do it more.

#7. When we get to the point where it sounds like Alex is being homophobic, HES NOT!!! HE ISNT HOMOPHOBIC!!! He just doesn't know better. He doesn't really understand it, but he wants to. I'll explain more about that when we get there. 

#8. I lied. There aren't actually ten things I wanted to tell you. The title just sounded cool.
