The scene in front of me made me frozen. Two lifeless bodies were lying infront of me. The fat man and the muscular man was lying there dead. That's when I realized something I was having the gun in my hand. I remember pulling the trigger. The realization hit me like a storm. "Oh my god! I have killed someone" my voice came out barely as a whisper. "It's okay Alex"my mother gently took the gun from my hand and embraced me in a soft hug. I was frozen. I couldn't remember anything as I was escorted from that place. Everything was a blur. When I finally woke up from my trance, I was in my home sitting on our couch. I was surrounded by my parents, Jack, Mrs.Jones, Mr.Blunt and Mr.Smith. They were exchanging worried glances at each other. My mother was the first one to notice that I was awake. " Alex, my dear. You are finally awake. I was so worried about you. Don't you ever try to pull any stunt like you did today" she said in a concerned tone. " Alex, we mean it. You are not putting yourself in danger again" my father said in a stern voice. But I couldn't help but notice that there was a glint of proudness in his eyes. " As much as I like to agree with your parents, I'll also like to appreciate your bravery Alex. You are more courageous than most of my fellow mates. You put everyone else before you. I respect that my boy" Mr.Smith said with appreciation. "Yes, I would also agree with Smith. You have the talent in your gene Alex. You are born to be in this profession. And I am hundred percent sure that you will ace every mission given to you" Mr.Blunt said in a serious tone. I couldn't quite understand what he meant by that. Before I could ask anything Mrs.Jones continued " We would like to offer you a job Alex. The government does it as a gesture of gratitude. You deserve it Alex." Excited was an understatement of the century. I was so happy that I could finally do something I am interested at. I looked at my parents for their approval. At first they held a serious expression and slowly a smile appeared on their face. My parents nodded at me proudly.
