Y/n's P.O.V

An untouched bottle of red wine was standing peacefully on the table as i sighed sad staring at it. He should have been here but he isn't. I was tired wearing my short black dress waiting for someone that would not come. I sucked a breath filling a glass with the expensive wine before drinking a bit.

"Happy anniversary.."

I groaned desperate toasting to the air before sipping a bit again. Jason was supposed to celebrate with me tonight, not fight freaking monsters out there! Today we are closing a year together but he isn't here and i barely see him. I guess i should have known the end when he had asked me to become his girlfriend and i had said yes.

It will be cool dating a superhero i thought.

What can go wrong i thought.

Bullshit i was thinking.

Now i am sitting here all alone with some wine and some old romantic films as the time slips away slowly. I just laid down, the sofa's black pillows hugging my sides as i yawned. Half of the bottle was empty, the tv's screen turned into static and before i knew i was asleep under its sound and wine's taste.

Alex's P.O.V

I looked at each screen that was filling the dark room, colorful figures covering each one as a sick smile was on my lips. My monsters roaming around the streets destroying everything that appears on their path and that little man trying to stop them.

His girl had fallen asleep on the couch, that poor human. She was waiting for a lover to return back, a lover that left her all alone. Of course i sent my minions to take over Los Angeles on their anniversary day by "accident". It was so fun watching her superhero getting new marks and scratches, bleeding to death.

Fun until i felt a pair of arms around my waist and a head on my shoulder. I frowned, my entertainment was ruined in seconds.

"Take your disguisting arms away from me or i'll shove them up in your ass."

"Ugh you aren't fun."

She pulled away as i turned around raising my eyebrow. Kristen was always so flirty with me, she disgusts me.

"You are here to help me, not to flirt with me."

"Oh i can do both sexy."

My voice may be calm but i was mentally frustrated. I can't deal with Kristen all the time.

"You know that my black filled with sorrow heart belongs to her."

"Unfortunately but i'll keep trying."

She titled her head annoyed looking at my straight face. The guy that humans call "The Illusionist" will be dead soon or later and his spouse will be mine. Then my life will be completed and i could terrorize this pathetic planet with her.

"Get off me!"

I pushed Kristen away as soon as i felt her hands on me as she blinked confused. She crossed her arms pouting as i turned back to my screens.

"What's so special about her anyway? I'm more beautiful and smarter and i can kill people!"

"She seems innocent but i can see the evil in her veins. She is like me."

"She is a human! You are a demon that can shapeshift into anything! You're cool and she is a loser!"

I lost my words angry grabbing her by the neck and throwing her across the room. Kristen left a painful groan but grinned back at me. What a surprise.

"Don't talk like that for her AGAIN. She asked for love and received from life that fucker! She is mine, all mine!"

I clenched my teeth as she whined before turning her glare at one of the screens, a smile taking over her lips.

"Seems like your minions have been defeated by "that fucker", mad boy."

"WHAT!?"

I couldn't believe it, he won even if he was hurt. I was more than mad, my eyes were fully golden and i was feeling like my body was on fire.

"I will turn his most disturbing thoughts into reality, literally."

"Good luck, sweety."

"I am a villain, Kristen."

I raised my hand letting the blue fire cover it smirking.

"I take whatever i want."

Jason's P.O.V

I was more than tired, i had to take care of my wounds and i was too weak. And then i saw her on the sofa sleeping around the static. I turned the television off and lifted her walking towards the bedroom. I can't believe i lost our anniversary because of that fuck, Cipher. She was so cute when she was sleeping. I smiled at her figure before going back to the living room taking care of all those scratches and drinking some of the wine that was left. She must hate me right now, i will be lucky if i won't be single by tomorrow. I barely spend time with her anymore because of the constant attacks of Cipher. I guess he just loves making me feel weak and away from my private life. Screw him anyway, i curled under the covers in my bedroom hugging y/n protectively. What if he'll hurt her and i won't be there to save her? Questions were haunting my mind as i tried to get some sleep.

Y/n's P.O.V

I woke up besides Jason, confused not knowing what had happened. He was snoring cutely and a big scratch had taken over his left cheek. I trailed my fingers over it as he moved making me back away. I was still wearing the dress from yesterday so i changed into something more comfortable. I made some black coffee and looked outside. My morning was interrupted by a pair of arms, i smiled excitedly.

"Seems like i woke up my sleepy head."

"Actually, you woke up something else my dear."

This smooth voice wasn't Jason's and i panicked. I turned around seeing the one and only man that had destroyed my previous evening.

"Cipher."

"Y/n."

"What do you want?"

"Your body against mine."

I scoffed pushing him away walking away, he was following me. I don't really admire his jokes or his attitude.

"If you're looking for Jason, he is sleeping."

"Jason, hu? I finally learned his real name."

"What's yours?"

"Alexander."

He grinned as i rolled my eyes. I wasn't terrified, of course he would appear in my house soon or later.

"You seem perfectly calm with having a villain in your living room."

"Many tried to kidnap me and kill me because of Jason, you are no difference."

"Why are you still here then?"

"Cause i love him."

He raised his glare grabing my wrists growling with anger. My skin ached but i tried not to show it.

"Who do you think you are? You are a filthy tiny human."

"And you are a monster that will never be loved."

He turned red pulling away coughing in response. This was strange but soon it was my time to smirk

"What happened Mr. Cipher? Did we struck a nerve there?"

"Shut up!"

"Did a demon fall in love with a filthy tiny human?"

His eyes turned golden and i could see his sharp teeth. I sat down crossing my legs as he brought his fingers to his chin.

"You're still here even if you know that Jason is cheating on you behind your back. Why?"

"Why not? Sure he broke my heart but look at this house and all these money. I am using him till he breaks up with me."

"You said you love him."

"I lied, it's not the first time."

He sat beside me happily, his arm around my back pulling me close to him.

"You want revenge, hu?"

"I don't have powers."

"That's why you seek revenge so much."

Maybe i wasn't as innocent as everyone thought i was. Maybe i was selling lies all along.

"I'll help you to extinguish the life from his blue eyes."

"I don't want him dead, i want him broken."

"Okay. Deal?"

He raised his hand, blue fire around it as i shaked it. Crazy, hu?

"Deal."

"I knew you are evil and that's why i fell in love with you."

"I have studied your.. "work".. It's rather interesting."

"Interesting?"

"Have destroyed a whole planet, various dimensions and tortured many souls. I cannot believe you even have fangirls."

"The hero gets the girl and the villain the fangirls."

"Well you are about to get both."

He grinned biting my neck leaving a mark behind.

"Oh i know."
