Y/n's P.o.V

Alex's birthday had to be special, i had to make this day look more special than it is. A secret birthday party? Too cliché. It had to be something different but what? I woke up earlier, starring at the ceiling. The internet didn't offer any good ideas and Alex would wake up soon. What does Alex like?  Scary stuff. He freaked out kids with Gravity Falls. Anything else? Oregon. This doesn't really help. What does he LOVE? Well.. His big ego, his fans, me of course, his sister-

That's it!

Ariel knows Alex better than anyone else. I must call her right now cause if Alex wakes up this won't be a surprise but regular birthday.

I left the bed silent before running into the kitchen calling Ariel. It was morning but i didn't give a fuck, she HAD to pick the phone up.

"Y/n.. What do you want so early.."

She yawned as i chuckled. I need a happier tone Ariel.

"Is there any particular places that Alex likes?

"Mhm.. Well when we were kids we used to go to a theme park that was in Oregon every summer."

Oregon, that's it.

"And?"

"Well he loved it. His eyes were sparkling every time and he was crying not wanting to leave."

"Oh.."

I giggled, i guess i found bae's weak spot.

"Oregon you said.."

"Yeah! The park actually closed in 2002, i think eleven days before Alex's birthday. He was so sad, he was locked in his room under the covers, probably crying and sobbing like a newborn."

"Lord... That's scandalous.."

Ariel laughed as i put my palm on my lips not wanting to wake him up.

"I visited it two weeks ago.. It's a creepy mess, some lights still work but there's not enough light. I heard some strange noises that scared the hell out of me so i walked away with quick steps."

"Creepy mess" .. This is getting better!

"Can you send me the location?"

"Sure."

I received the location from Ariel realizing that the park was in the middle of a forest near a waterfall. I knew exactly where it was, this made me so excited! Alex would love it! His childhood theme park plus the strange atmosphere!

"Please be safe if you're planning to go there. There are rumors for unexplained phenomena..."

"Yes, yes i will.. See ya Ariel."

"Bye."

I checked the location again, okay Ariel had terrified me. But there is an explanation for everything after all. Alex woke up soon or later. I had made some special breakfast for him, he thanked me happily and kissed me. Some friends came during the day, they brought gifts as we laughed and drank wine. My mind was pierced there, on that theme park. I couldn't wait. 

I saw the moon behind the gray clouds, it was time. I tied Alex's eyes with a cloth i found, i gulped repeating in my head that it was a good idea. I was driving to Oregon, Alex's on the passenger sit not making a sound. He was anxious, sweating. The night was unbearable, the darkness started hurting my eyes.

"Where are we going in the middle of the night?"

"It's a surprise love."

I stopped the car, we walked with his eyes still tied. He couldn't see a damn thing as i was guiding him, my blood was hotter every second. I faced the theme park, some colorful lampions still shining through the night. The rides' faded colors, it made my heart sink. I untied his eyes putting my hands on his shoulders from behind. His eyes widened open, he was trembling. He titled his head and walked, he wasn't talking. His lips were dry, i got sad i thought he didn't like it. He turned around and made sure i was still there. He laughed and ran and hugged me tightly, i was left frozen.

"How you.. found this place? It was left to rot years ago."

"I had some help from someone."

I winked at him, he was amused by his surroundings. Alex held my hand with love, his thin fingers between mine as we were walking. I sucked a breath, my lungs filled with dust. This was dark beauty, the broken horses on the carousel with their piercing glare looking at the infinity, the rotten wagons on the Ferris wheel, the bumping cars between the nature waiting for new kids that will never come. Alex was left in awe, he wasn't worried anymore.

"So many memories.."

"Oh i can imagine."

"Thank you so but so much for bringing me here.. This is the best birthday present i got so far."

"Really?"

"Yes love."

He held both of my hands gentle, we were standing in front a small 'biscuit' house. He took a breath and closed his eyes.

"Y/n, i wanted to ask you something."

"Go on then sugar boy..."

A new voice, something different got into our conversation as our hearts bumped loudly. We slowly turned around our faces, a man was standing opposite us. He had tattoos, light blue eyes. His T-shirt half-covered in a red liquid, it was possible blood. I saw his knife, Alex extended his arm in front of me as i backed away. He grinned ear to ear, finding his next victims.

"Run."

I followed Alex's words, we split i didn't know where he was. I was scared, isolated. He may be in danger, i hid behind in a wagon at the Ferris wheel. I heard a male scream, it was him.

"ALEX!"

I was panting and sobbing, i couldn't leave him behind. My boyfriend may bleed right now because of me.

Alex's P.o.V

I woke up, my back was arching. That fucker had hit me, i had blacked out. He hung me upside down from a tree, i was becoming nauseous. I started moving as he let an amused chuckle.

"Well, well what we have here.... Some clever bastard with his chick.."

"Let me go you sick man!"

"You don't really want.."

He raised his hand, he was holding a small black box as my eyes widened. No, no, no. He opened it, a silver diamond ring laying there peacefully. He whistled surprised.

"This must have cost all your estate young man."

"I swear if i catch you-"

He closed the box and put it in his pocket disguised. I hate him so much, he got the ring.

"Marriage makes the man a slave, you don't want to be engaged."

"Oh shut up your mouth!"

He laughed maniacally as he stepped away.

"When i find your little girl, i'll make sure she wears the ring before she dies."

Y/n was left in danger, i couldn't help her. If he touches her, i swear i'll drown him. My love, i had to make sure she was okay. I'll die if i find her corpse. We are together here and two years and she.. she is the one for me. I am falling more and more for her every day and when she is in pain, i am too. She just wanted to surprise me.

Y/n's P.o.V

I was crying, my vision blurry. I was lost, i didn't a god damn idea what i was supposed to do. I felt lucky, i saw Alex in the distance. He was upside down, i helped him get off the tree as he hugged me tightly trying to stop my tears from falling down.

"We have to leave Alex now!"

I grabbed his hand as we ran. He stopped and looked at the dark sky.

"No."

"W-What!? Why!?"

He took his iphone from his pocket and called the police. He was right, we had to call the police and i had to check the place in the first place before we come.

"They are coming, please.."

"Alex... i love you.."

"I love you too... Now calm down.."

Alex's P.o.V

The police came soon or later. They searched the place, no killer was found. I got mad, i was an idiot. He got the ring, this all went to hell. I didn't give a fuck about police, i wanted the ring.  A policeman came and handed me something believing it was mine. I was shocked, it was the box. A note on it as i grabbed it reading it.

"To young man,

Maybe it's better if you fall down in the hole and die. Have your ring, i ain't such a heartless monster. I'll see you at your marriage.

I opened the box and there was there the ring. I was left speechless. He got away but left this behind. I walked towards her, the box behind my back. It's not the best time but... but...

Y/n's P.o.V

I was sweaty, just a perfect mess like this carnival. Our clothes covered in dirt and sirens' around us. Alex looked at me and gulped.

"I am sorry, i just wanted to surprise you-"

"Shush."

"...Alex..."

He kneeled down, i saw the ring and i tore myself apart. After messing all this up, after putting us in danger, he was there in front of me proposing to me.

"This birthday gift was.. kinda dangerous and i feel lucky for surviving from that asshole.. In one minute, my birthday will have passed so yeah... Will you make me the happiest man alive before all the fans make fun of me because i nearly died?"

I laughed brining my palms to my face.

"Get the fuck up, of course! I fucking love you!"

He spun me around as we were laughing. The policemen were looking at us smiling and a pair of blue eyes also from the distance.

"I'll see you sugar boy."
