The next morning, we were let out, walked down stairs, and ate.
We went outside, but I was called back inside.

I walked up to the guard and he said:
"Boy, you've been loaned out again."

"By who?"

He handed me over to a lady.
"Alex, Mrs.Fonoo."

"Madam, Alex."

"Ah, a fresh one." She said.

"Yup.Just came from Mr.Richards yesterday."

"Ew, him!"
She said.

"Go with her boy!"
Shouted the guard.

I didn't understand the 'ew' part, but I understood the 'go with her'.

We walked down a block, and I realized where I was.

"Keef!"
I said.

"What are you blabbering about!"
Mrs.Fonoo shouted at me as she grabbed my shirt thinking I would run off into his house.

"Keith! That's Keith's house."

"Yeah, that mans been dead for two years. Now shut up!"
She shouted at me.

"No, I was-"
I started, but was cut off.

"Shut up!"
She scolded.

I saw Keith in the window, and shouted his name,
"Keith! Keith! Keith, Keith! Help me!"
I cried.

He didn't hear me.

Mrs. Fonno put her hand over my mouth to keep me quiet.
-I didn't know that though.
"Shut up bastard! He won't help you!"
She scolded me.

I decided to keep my mouth shut, for a while. (Like I had a choice! This lady has her hand over my mouth!)🏴
