Alex's POV
The next morning, bright and early, I was violently shaken awake.

"Get up now! Get dressed, and go down to the front desk!"
The guard (Frank) shouted.

"Yes, .....sir."
I said half asleep.

I got ready, and started to walk down to the guard.

"Hurry up you brat!"
Frank said dragging me downstairs.

He told me to sit down, same spot at the door as usual, and I waited.
A couple minutes later, a couple walked in.

"Hi. You must be the ones who are fostering the boy!"
Said Frank.

"Yes, we're Mr. And Mrs. Clyde."

"Boy, come here! These are the Clydes, they are going to foster you. Sir, madam this is....."

"Alex, my name is Alex!"
I shouted.

"Don't get cocky you little idiot!"
Frank said hitting me.

I cried.
"Sorry about that."
The guard said.

I walked out the door with these new people, and hoped they wouldn't be like the Fonos.🏴
