2 hours later, back at the house.....
Alex's POV
"Brian, Brian. Where did you go?"
Bill says.

"Guitar room Bill."
Brian shouted out the door.

"So Mick and Keith want us to talk, about Alex."

*Brian sighs*
"Figures as much."

"Ok, so we both love Alex, and want the best for him, so."
Bill says.

"Bill, so you should take him."
Brian says.

"Now, Brian-wait-what did you just say?"

"I said, you can, have him."
Brian said with his head down.

"Are you sure? You don't wanna talk about it?"
Says Bill.

"Of course I want to talk about it! Of course I want to adopt Alex! Did you really think-, forget it Bill."
Brian says.
(Calm yourself Brian)

"I'm ok if you know, you wa-."

"So, your saying I can take Alex?"
Said Brian.

"Yeah, it's ok. I'm gonna miss him, Keith got over it, so I-"
Bill said as Brian interrupted him.

"He never told you, did he?"
Brian says.

"What?"
Bill asked as his eyes widened.

"Ke-Keith, never, got over what he had to do, how he left Alex. He never forgave himself for the abuse, and neglect Alex went through."

"Keith isn't Alex's real dad, is he?"
Bill asked.

"Oh, no. His mom died, and his real dad just didn't want a kid when he was born, so they abused him, put him in a cage outside. Then an orphanage, found him. Before that, they had shown signs that they didn't want him-hitting him, kicking, pulling his hair, ignoring him, calling him names, and locking him outside, or in a room for a while."
Brian says.

"So, Keith feels like it's all his fault?"
Bill asked again.

"Sadly, yes. He loves Alex to much too not think it's his fault."
Said Brian.

"As I was saying. Then at the orphanage, he was left sleeping in his crib for a while, when he wasn't eating. Then he was transferred to Cradles Home when he turned 3. Then he was locked in a cage, and treated the same way, till Keith found him."
Says Brian.

Jones knows more than you think, and Keith lied about not trusting him for my protection.

"Oh, my god. Wow, I'm, I don't know what to say."
Bill said.

Bill had to sit down and process what Brian had just told him.

"Do the others know about-"

"No, only you, Keith, and I."
Brian said.

"So, Alex doesn't either."
Bill said.

"No, he was only 2 when it started, and 3 years old when he was first put in an orphanage."

"When are you gonna tell him, you can't keep it from the poor kid any longer."

"I know, I know. But I'll leave it to Keith to tell him. If I did it, he'd strangle me. I've already said and done enough. Plus, Keith and I don't think he's old enough to understand it all."
Brian said.

"Why doesn't Keith take him?"

"He feels guilty, and the pain of what he did and what happened to Alex would be to painful. He wants one of us to decide."
Brian says.

"What about the others?"
Bill asked.

"I told you! Just the two of us! It was narrowed down to us two!"

"You take him, I'm sure of it! No second guessing Brian."
Bill said.

"What-fine."
Brian said.

"Ok, then. It's settled. I'll tell the others."
Bill said.

"Oh god, Keith is gonna kill me for saying what I said to you."
Brian said running his hand through his hair, nervously.

"I'll make sure he doesn't over react Brian."
Says Bill.

"Thanks."
Brian said.

"Tee-hee. YES!!!!"
Brian said once more as he jumped up and down with joy, and excitement.

"Are you sure Bill?"
Brian asked.

"No!"
Bill shouts.

"Then you take him Bill! Let's not make it hard."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, you adopt him Bill."
Brian says pointing at Bill.

"Thanks Brian. I can't thank you enough."
Bill said as he went to give Brian a hug.

"Wait, this isn't necessary."
Brian said holding his hand up to his chest.

"Sorry. Are we positive about this adoption?"

"Yes."
Brian confirmed too Bill.

"Ok, Alex Wyman it is."
Bill said.

"It's strange not hearing Alex Richards any more-well, it will be strange."
Said Brian as his band mate nodes in agreement.

In the kitchen, Bill was preparing himself for telling Keith what he said to Brian in the guitar room.🏴
