Chapter 47: Back for the Very Last Time
The holidays passed and seventh year came very close. In the holidays Teddy and Victoire had gotten married and were moving into a new flat together, with little Remus Bill Lupin. Fred was devastated about his father, but did move on and helped Uncle Ron in the shop his dad owned, together with James and Annabeth. They too, moved in together. Angelina and Roxanne had left for home because they couldn't stand being with the rest of the family without George. During dinner with what was left the chattering and talking that was usually very happy and bubbly was now a little more sad. Everyone would be going their ways again the next day, the first of September. Albus was excited for Hogwarts, and a little afraid, too. This would be his last year, he wasn't ready for that! Quinn said she was very excited too, even more now she and Albus were together. Albus wondered what Hagrid would say when he told him. He decided to go for tea with him as soon as he got back. And that would be soon.
Early in the morning of September 1st all the students of Hogwarts were eating breakfast. Since the Burrow wasn't really next to King's Cross St Pancras station, from where the train would leave, they had to be up early to go with the Weasley Bus. Mr Malfoy and Mrs Malfoy, together with Scorpius, had left a week before because they would still go on a holiday somewhere. Oliver Wood and Tyler had gone out somewhere too, probably to watch some Quidditch matches somewhere on the globe together. The group wasn't as big as it was before, with a lot of them leaving. But that wasn't of particular matter. Albus was mostly excited to go back just one more time.
The drive to London took ages. Quinn and Albus had discussed everything about going back they could - well, it was Hogwarts, so there were a lot of things they couldn't discuss - and Hugo and Lily were talking too. Lorcan and Lysander had gone away somewhere with their parents, Rolf and Luna Scamander. They would return to Hogwarts, though. Molly and Lucy were chatting, and Louis, Rose and Dominique had gone to sleep. Albus was glad when they arrived at the parking lot, and jumped out of the Bus as soon as it came to a halt. He helped Quinn out too, gave her a kiss on the forehead, then helped his mother take the trunks from the bus. He got his, which was signed with ASP and then took out Quinn's, signed with QER, for her full name. Albus had never asked what her second name was, so he turned to his girlfriend.
"Quinn, your trunk says QER, what does the 'E' stand for?" he asked, and Quinn - taking her trunk from Albus - laughed.
"Elizabeth. My full name is Quinn Elizabeth Rivers. I'm named after my grandma, Elizabeth." she said.
Albus continued taking out other trunks. LLP, RHW, HAW, MSW. He laughed as he saw two trunks with the same initials. LAW, and LAW. He checked the tag on it and handed one to Lucy - Lucy Audrey Weasley, and one to Louis - Louis Arthur Weasley. He grabbed his own trunk, and linked his other hand with Quinn's. They started walking to the entrance of the station, with mixed emotions.
As they entered King's Cross Albus checked the enormous clock in the station. 10:30. He looked around and saw many students of Hogwarts, some already in robes, others not yet. He smiled when his eyes fell on Chris McLaggen, who, after spending a lot of time with him in Potions class, was actually really nice. He stifled a sob when he thought about Luke, Felicia and all the others. He waved at Chris. "Chris!" he yelled, and the tall boy spun around, nearly tripping over his own trunk while doing so.
"Albus! How was your holidays! Have you heard about all those students who were killed? You were there, weren't you? Oh, never mind, it's great to go back, isn't it? I'm kind of excited." he blabbed, and Albus laughed. His father, who was walking right behind him, nodded at Uncle Ron, then followed Chris, Albus, Quinn and Rose - she had caught up with them - to Platforms Nine and Ten.
The group stopped at the ever-so-famous barrier, and they all - in turns - ran at it, and disappeared to the other side. Albus pushed his trolley and closed his eyes, waiting for the crash that never came. When he opened his eyes again he could make out the large scarlet train through the mist. He smiled at some other people he recognized, friends from cousins, people in his year, when his eyes fell on Scorpius and Tyler, who were already sitting in a compartment, their heads hanging out of the windows, arms crammed through them too, waving at their parents. Albus gave his mother and father a kiss, promised them he'd write when they arrived at Hogwarts, then, with a slight skip in his pace, moved to the entrance of the train. He entered it, took one last glance back, then walked to the small corridor to join his friends. Chris and Quinn followed him shortly and entered the compartment.
As Albus waited for the chime of 11, he looked outside. Just like seven years ago when he'd first sat in the very same compartment, people were crowding around the redheads and his father, pointing and smiling. However this time, some even pointed at Albus, for he had been the one to save the Wizarding World from the Dark Lord 2.0. When the eleventh chime sounded the train shook to movement, and Albus waved at Platform Nine and Three Quarters until it moved out of sight, before sitting back and enjoying his ride to Hogwarts one last time.

Okay, can I just say I feel a little emotional. I know I said I would write two more chapters but I think I like it this way. Now, all of you have read my story begin to end, from J.K. Rowling's last chapter to here, so now I want to know what you think of my writing:
Has it improved? Is my English improved? anything.
Now for all you people that like my writing you can just click on my lovely profile and check out my other stories. But, since I have finished this, I will start an all new project.
The only problem is that I haven't figured out what exactly yet, though I have some ideas:
1. The Story of Peter Pettigrew
2. A story about four students at Hogwarts, one from each house, and each are NOT a stereotype - The Slytherin is really sweet, the Hufflepuff is very brave and cool, the Ravenclaw is not a stuck-up know-it-all who only cares about studying, and the Gryffindor is not an annoying attention seeker.
Other ideas are ALWAYS welcome, and well, I hope you like my writing style enough to click on my profile to read more.
As usual, I give my love. Thank you so much for supporting me and voting, commenting, and just, reading!
(FLORENCE OUT!)
