🧞♂️Agrabah's Night and Day🧞♀️
A majestic ship sailed on the ocean's waters to show a tiny ship behind it while a little boy and girl whom were the only children on the smaller ship, they both looked at the huge ship in amazement.
Omar: "Hey, look! Over there! Wow!"
Lian: "Their ship is so big."
Omar: "Wish ours was that fancy."
Lian: "I'd be so happy if ours was that fancy 'cause then..."
The little girl was cut off by a mariner man dressed in blue, yellow and red accented robes while checking the ship's ropes.
Mariner: "Why is that? Because it looks better? This boat has seen us through many a storm. It may not look like much, but it has something theirs never will."
The Mariner said towards the children showing the man's face with a aged beard at best with a turban on his head while the boy questioned the mariner.
Omar: "What? Wood rot and rats?" *Omar and Lian giggle til a woman spoke up hanging up clothes*
Woman: "Are the children in need to learn something, dear?" The woman said to the mariner as he walked towards the children.
Mariner: "It is unclear. All right, *claps his hands thus gaining the children's attention* sit down, children. I think it's time that I told you the story of...Aladdin, Y/n, the prince, the princess, and the lamp." He said as the children looked at the man.
Lian: "What's so special about a lamp?" She asked the man as he explained to Lian.
Mariner: "Oh, this is a magic lamp." He said as Omar spoke up.
Omar: "Maybe if you sing." He said with a smile as did Lian.
Lian: "It's better when you sing." The Mariner shook his head at the notion of singing to the children.
Mariner: "No, no. No singing. It's been a long day." He said as he placed his hand over his heart before standing up and walked towards the ship's wheel as Omar and Lian smiled at each other then up at the man as he stopped at the ladder's first step and began singing out painting an image with his song for the children to imagine clear as a sunny day.
Oh, imagine a land, it's a faraway place
Where the caravan camels roam
Where you wander among ev'ry culture and tongue
It's chaotic, but hey, it's home
When the wind's from the east
And the sun's from the west
And the sand in the glass is right
Come on down, stop on by
Hop a carpet and fly
To another Arabian night
The ship was sailing towards the land of Agrabah with the palace in the morning's day light til the scene shifted into like the deserts golden sands to show an early morning bazaar when the sun has yet to risen from the night sky. A monkey walked through the streets passing people, climbed onto fruit carts, stealing beautiful jewelry from one cart and onto a pile of carpets then up to two individuals whom at the same time held their left and right hands out for the monkey to climb onto their shoulders and gave them separately a beautiful necklace and bracelet which they pocketed quickly while the monkey jumped onto the moving cart filled with lovely silk and satin shawls while the woman grabbed a beautiful red satin shawl and placed it quickly onto her black as the pure night sky hair to keep the sand off of her.
As you wind through the streets at the fabled bazaars
With the cardamom-cluttered stalls
You can smell every spice
While you haggle the price
Of the silks and the satin shawls
Oh, the music that plays as you move through a maze
In the haze of your pure delight
You are caught in a dance, you are lost in the trance
Of another Arabian night
The people of Agrabah set lanterns up into the air in front of a majestic palace where the beloved Sultan lived there with his eldest son whom was the crowned prince along with his sister whom was the crowned princess and their pet tiger. The Sultan was talking with his head guard while eating a chicken leg until he tossed it aside for his children's tiger to catch it and eat it as the princess's handmaiden spoke to the prince and princess while serving them their tea as their tiger walked towards them which they petted the beast's fur gently earning a chuffed purr til the tiger growled at a red flying macaw parrot as it flew away from the palace.
Arabian nights
Like Arabian days
More often than not are hotter than hot
In a lot of good ways
Arabian nights
Like Arabian dreams
This mystical land of magic and sand
Is more than it seems
There's a road that may lead you to good or to greed
Through the power your wishing commands
Let the darkness unfold or find fortunes untold
Well, your destiny lies in your hands
The parrot flew far into the desert til it came across a cave's mouth shaped like a fierce lion as it spoke in powerful voice to a pair of men as they were forced into the cave scared while the parrot landed on his master's shoulder.
Only two may enter here
Two whose worth lies far within.
Seek thee out a pair of diamonds in the rough
As soon as the two unknown men stepped into the lion's mouth it caved in onto them thus burying them alive, showed a man dressed in royal advisor garb of bright ruby red and gold, holding a gold hooded cobra staff within his hand before he turned away from the cave walking away to his camel as the parrot flew off once more.
Arabian nights
Like Arabian days
They seem to excite, take off and take flight
To shock and amaze
Arabian nights
'Neath Arabian moons
A fool off his guard could fall and fall hard
Out there on the dunes
Indistinct chattering filled up the bazaar as a pair of wealthy dressed women walked up to a man and woman with their pet monkey on the man's shoulder. "What's your monkey's name?" The woman asked the man as the man and woman looked at each other then their monkey before smiling as the man answered the wealthy dressed women in a deep yet handsome to many other woman whom has known him. "Abu." Abu chitters happily as the woman scratched Abu's face. "He's a lovely monkey." The weathly woman said as the woman beside the man and Abu looked at the necklace around the woman's neck while Abu climbed onto the wealthy woman. "Hmm. That's a lovely necklace." The woman's voice was like sweet yet warm as honey that gleamed like liquid gold in the sun. "So, where does Abu come from?" The wealthy woman asked as the man and woman looked at each other before the woman grabbed the wealthy woman's friend hand as she took a ruby red glass cup from her purse. "Oh! I think this belongs to me. Good day, ladies." The woman said with a smile on her face while Abu climbed onto her shoulders chittering til the man and woman noticed the pair of women talking to a huge man as he began walking towards the man and woman.
Y/n: "Aladdin, I believe it's time we make our exit." She whispered softly in Aladdin's ear as the pair moved through an alleyway and jumped over the dead ends edge into a new street as she held her hand up towards Abu. "How'd we do, Abu?" Abu placed a beautiful golden necklace in the woman's open palm making her smile softly and pet Abu's head. "Good monkey."
Aladdin: "Good work, Abu and nice catch on that pick pocket, Y/n." He said smiling as he side hugged the woman as she laughed sweetly before they headed to the pawn shop to sell off the necklace they had acquired today.
Zulla: "Stop right there, Aladdin, Y/n. Whatever it is you two stole today, I don't want it." The pawn shop woman told the twins seriously.
Aladdin & Y/n: "Whoa, whoa. We didn't steal anything. It's a family heirloom that's worth a lot." The two tried to haggle with the woman together.
Zulla: "I'll give you both a bag of dates each for it and some bread, nothing more." She said as Y/n leaned towards the woman pleading with her. "I'll give you both more if your willing to trade your necklace, Y/n."
Y/n: Y/n placed her hands over her collarbone rested touching the cool lapis lazuli jewelry that lied on top of her heart protectively before talking to the woman. "Zulla, we both know it's worth at least six bags and two loafs of bread." She said only for Zulla to toss two bags of dates at the twins saying to them both. "Take the bags of dates and bread then get out!"
Aladdin and Y/n took the bags as they walked outside of the shop. Y/n put the loaf of bread in her purse while the twins took a date each out of their bags and gave them to Abu before sighing softly.
Aladdin & Y/n: "Here you go, Abu." Aladdin and Y/n said before they looked over seeing a begging mother with her own son and daughter looking up at the pair. Aladdin and Y/n looked at their bags then back at the boy before giving the dates to the boy and Y/n took the bread out of her purse and gave it up as well as the boy smiled up at them. Aladdin and Y/n shushed the boy to keep a secret before they walked off deeper into the bazaar not knowing what would be in store for the street rat and mouse twins this very day were fate would give them both a once in a lifetime adventure and opportunity to journey.
(This is what Y/n looks like for now since we all know how Aladdin looks)
(Y/n's Singing voice)
(Y/n's prized possession, a lapis lazuli stone necklace from their late mother. She never takes it off)
