"No its not you its just-" I sighed and turned my tail over revealing the dried but bloody scars where Tucker had cut me."My old Master blindfolded me and strapped me down" I explained."Then he gagged me and cut my tail" I told Al. My eyes widened as I talked the memory replaying in my head.Al sighed slightly bringing me back to reality."He didnt deserve someone as beautiful as you.Human or Neko" he said then pecked my lips."I will never hurt you like that" he promised."Al" I asked."W-will you protect me if Tucker comes after me" I said. he nodded. "Of course" He said.I started to lean toward him then the door bust open with Tucker standing there.(Just go with it OK ?) Hello my Pretty Kitten" he said.I ran under the bed.

I growled under my breath."She doesnt belong to YOU" I said."She MINE !!!"

Tucker chuckled.I hated that sound."Oh yeah" he said to Al."GET OUT HERE YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING CAT" Tucker screamed in his "listen now or you're gonna get it" voice.I came out slowly.I looked like a whole different person.I was BROKEN.Tucker slapped me knocking me to the ground.I didnt move knowing if I did it would be worse."You've been a naughty Kitty" he said grabbing me by the ear.I gulped.

                                                                    AL POV

I punched Tucker in the jaw then grabbed (Y/N) and pulled her behind me."DONT YOU PUT YOUR HANDS ON HER" I said.Tucker stood up laughing."You think YOU can control her" he said."Do you even know about her powers " he asked."Ive had a sneak peek at her powers"I admitted."But I dont care,I care about HER  and you're not gonna touch her without going through me first" I said using alchemy to make a blade.Tucker thought about this and looked from me to (Y/N)."Fine" he said."Shes not worth the trouble."He walked out.

                                                                           Readers POV

I fell to the ground bawling."Hes gone. Dont worry"  Al said hugging me."Al im scared" I said completely forgetting to control myself.The kitten froze its eyes glowing.It hissed.Scratch noises came from the door."(Y/N) calm down dont be afraid" Al said.I grabbed my head trying to calm down before someone got hurt.The kitten walked in front of me in a trance ready to defend me.My head hurt. I wanted it to stop.I screamed.Al pulled me closer."Its okay Im here" he told me.Something about his arms made me feel safe,like everything was gonna be ok.The kitten blinked its eyes returning to normal.My breathing calmed and everything went back to normal."I-I was so scared" I expalined."You dont have to be" Al told me."Im gonna protect you I promise" he said."Al I..." I started but dozed off from using all my energy.

                                                                                 AL POV

(Y/N) dozed off I lifted her up and laid her in the bed then checked outside.She started mumbling in her sleep."AL" she mumbled."I need you." I sat beside (Y/N)."Im right here" I said."Al I love you dont leave me" she mumbled.The kitten crawled in my lap yawning.I laughed and kissed (Y/N)'s cheek."I wont leave you"I promised.I pet the kittens head then set her back on the bed."Mew" the kitten meowed loudly.

I opened my eyes and wincedin pain."Damn it" I said."Take it easy" Al said petting my ears."Im fine this happens all the time" I admitted."Ever since I was a kitten actually when I first got my powers" I added.He nodded "just rest some more" he said. I smiled."Mew" the kitten walked over to me.Its face covered with dirt and filth.I shook my head in disapproval and began cleaning its face like a mother cat caring for its young.It meowed loudly in protest.

I smiled as I watched (Y/N) clean the kitten.I whispered in her ear "Just like a mother."
