"Hak? Why'd you leave your post?" Yona questions at the sight of Hak.

They had all seen him walk off with a girl, and a few of them feared he was going to drink the girl's blood. Much to their relief, there wasn't a scent of human blood on him. Iy would have driven every one of them insane and hunger crazy for human blood.

Hak shrugs. "Just went for a walk." He says and Yona looks at him for a moment more before letting the subject go.

"Oh, we got another bat letter from that other vampire group on the other side of town. They want Hak in their group again..." Yun trails off and hak growls lowly.

On the other side of town, just as Yun has said, there was another vampire group. But this group was on the brink of dying. Mainly because they kept exposing themselves when ravenously drinking human blood.

Hak, of course, wanted no part of that group and chose to stay away, preferring to live a "peaceful" life as a vampire.

Well, as peaceful as any vampire life could get...

Still, Hak's thoughts wandered off to [F/N] and the time they spent at the park.

How he pushed her on the swings for an hour. In between the little silence, [F/N] asked Hak a few questions, and vice versa. It was a lovely evening for the both of them and Hak would've traded anything in the world for another moment like that.

Well, maybe not Yona, but you get the idea...

Anyways, [F/N] and Hak made a promise that they would eat lunch together right outside school tomorrow and enjoy their time together just as they had at the park.

Both were looking forward the the encounter, and everyone in Hak's little group could tell that Hak was gloating in a small bubble of happiness.

It was the next day, and Hak earnestly waited for the lunch bell to ring.

Finally, after what seemed like millions of years, the bell rang and Hak may or may not have accidentally used his vampire speed to get to the meet up location.

3 minutes..

7 minutes...

Nearly 11 minutes had gone by since the time they were supposed to meet up, and Hak was just leaning against the tree by that time with both a concerned and bored look on his face.

Did she forget?

He wonders before an annoyingly familiar voice snaps his train of thought.

"Your girlfriend ain't here today." Someone says and Hak grits his teeth.

"I thought I said I wasn't going to join your group, Toshi," Hak says with a low growl before looking at the blonde male. Toshi shrugs nonchalantly.

"That's not what I'm here for. I'm only here to tell ya that the Coal Phoenix stole your girl." Hak scoffs at the name. He's heard it thousands of times but it forever be hilarious to him.

"My girl?"

"Yeah, what was her name..? Oh yes, [F/N]." Toshi says and Hak suddenly goes rigid. A taunting smirk could be seen on Toshi's face and Hak had never felt the need to punch him in the face this strong before.

"Alright, and?" Hak asks, playing it as cooly as he possibly could.

Toshi laughs, "You don't get it?" He questions and Hak narrows his eyes. "Your girl is about to become one of us unless you join the Coal Phoenix!" Toshi cries out, his arms spread out in front of him.

Hak could feel all emotion but anger drain from him and in a flash, Toshi's body is flying with a swift punch to the jaw. The vampire's jaw hangs loosely before Toshi cracks it back in place with a low chuckle.

"Well, it's staring at sun down and you know where to find us." Toshi says before lazily waving good bye and walking off.

Hak pants with frustration as his chest heaves. Then, he swings his fist at the nearby tree.

"DAMMIT!" Hak shouts, breaking the tree in half. And before dozens of students could rush out to figure out what's happening, Hak turns into a bat and flies off toward the base of the Coal Phoenix.

It didn't take Hak too long before he was able to make it to the base of the Coal Phoenix. they were the most discreet people in t he world, after all.

"TOSHIO!" Hak shouts with fury as soon as he's reverted to his human form.

The said male walks forward with a smug smirk.

"Give her back." Hak orders darkly and Toshio shrugs before snapping his fingers.

[F/N] suddenly materializes before the males with a frightened look. Before she could rush to Hak, two other vampires take her by the arm, preventing her from moving.

"You're going to have to join our group~" Toshio sings before skipping around Hak in a circle. Hak could feel his anger and irritation rise by the second.

"And if I say no?"

"Then we kill your little girlfriend. Or worse, make her one of us~" Hak clicks his tongue, obviously angered.

"No. I won't let you kill her, nor turn her into one of us. And I sure as hell ain;t joining you." Hak snaps and Toshio shrugs nonchalantly.

"Well, it was nice knowing you, [F/N]." Toshio says before appearing in front of the girl within seconds. Fear dances across [F/N] and she adverts her eyes to Hak, screaming for help.

And he could have.

He would have.

But a couple more vampires jump at him, holding him down.

Hak struggles against the hold, cursing loudly.

"Hak!" [F/N] shouts and he looks to the girl. "I'll love you no matter what you are!!" She shouts, and Hak's eyes widen.

He fell even deeper for her.

And we all know a couple of vampires won't be able to hold Hak down.

But Hak was scared of [F/N] coming to fear him.

For finding out Hak is a vampire terrified him.

But [F/N] is a smart girl, and she really did know that deep down, no matter what Hak is, she'll love him.

Even if they only talked to each other for a few hours.

Not even a second later, Hak had broken free from the other vampire's hold and rushed to Toshio and [F/N].

[F/N] could feel herself smile at the male, then pain.

All that was left within her was pain.

Because sticking out of her back, was Toshio's clawed hand.

"I really did enjoy your stay here." Toshio whispers into [F/N] ear before ripping his hand out of her stomach.

Blood is coughed out of [F/N] in waves, and with one last look, she smiles at Hak. Then, her heart stopped beating.

"[F/N]!!!"
