Third P.O.V

A horse was pulling a cart carrying two men were walking down the dirt path when all of a sudden the ground started to rumble that lead to a monster erupting from the ground and it was about to attack the people in the cart when all of a sudden a sword had slashed and cut the earth dragon's hand off before it could attack the people in the cart,

???: class one danger beast, right an earth dragon this should be fun

dodging the attack from the Danger beast then jumping in the air and slashing the beast cursing it to fall into pieces. Then the two men came around to thank the man who saved them.

Man1: that was an incredible kid

Man2: you took down a class one danger beast all by yourself

This gave the man some confidence as he turned around to face the two men.

???: aww it was nothing kinda like taking candy from a big scaly baby, oh yeah and the name is Tatsumi by the way the capitals gonna know my name before too long, so you might want to remember it.

Man1: so you are going to the imperial capital to seek your fortune?

Tatsumi: yep where I come from everyone dreams of making it big in the capital

Man1: look kid the imperial capital isn't some perfect dreamland, sure it's a big city but it's been overrun with monsters even more viscous than this earth dragon over here.

Tatsumi: I don't get it how can a city be full of Danger beasts

The man states that the monsters he's referring to are the people whose heart is as cold and black as the Danger beast's but Tatsumi just smirks at the warning saying that he and his friends are on a mission to save their home and he leaves but what the others don't know is that someone was sitting in the trees watching them and hearing their conversations. As Tatsumi was heading to the capital the stranger started to follow him and catch up to the man.

First P.O.V

As I caught up to Tatsumi he was still walking to the capital and was close but I managed to catch him

???: hey Tatsumi

Tatsumi turns around to see you

Tatsumi: Y/n!? Hey man hows is it all going

Tatsumi goes up to me and hugged me and I hugged him back it has been a long time since we had last seen each other.

Y/n: everything's alright, it's good to see you again man

Tatsumi: you too man

We separate from the hug, it was good to see him again he was the closes person I had as a friend since I was always an outcast as a kid he was the first friend I ever had.

Y/n: so what are you doing heading to the capital anyway?

Tatsumi: oh I'm gonna be signing up to the imperial army

His reason for going to the capital was just upsetting to me as he doesn't know any other about the corruption that was in the Capital. I want to tell him but I know he wouldn't listen to me and that means that I have to tell him that I'm an assassin but I can't tell him yet cause I'm on my way to kill my next target.

Y/n: oh really how interesting I was just going in there to get a few things

Technically I was not lying I was getting a few things but those things were mostly information.

Tatsumi: oh well how about you come with me so we can catch up

I thought about this and thought that this would be a good idea.

Y/n: sure sounds good let's go
