Part 16: Announcement:

Swara gets ready in a beautiful red gown as she walks out of the bathroom.

Ragini walks inside the room and looks at Swara. "Wow Swara, you're looking so pretty." She utters and then walks out.

Swara gets confused with her suddenly walking out and then begins to wear earrings.

Soon Ragini walks back in the room with Sharmishta. "Maa, do that black dot on Swara. She's looking very pretty and we don't want anyone's evil eyes landing on her."

Swara smiles in disbelief while Sharmishta smiles and walks towards Swara.

"What Party?" Sanskar asks as everyone were sat in the hall.

"A party at Swara's house." Lakshya replies and Sanskar looks at him.

"We got invited so we are going. Get ready everyone." DP orders and stands up.

Everyone nod as they begin to walk away to get ready.

Lakshya winks at Sanskar and Sanskar gets confused, before he could ask Lakshya, Lakshya vanishes.

Sanskar sighs and heads towards his room to change.

The guests began to come inside Gadodia Mansion, Kavita was already present there and with Swara in her room.

"How nervous are you?"

"I'm not nervous at all." Swara replies.

"Don't tell me you're going to bring the attitude wali Swara into this party."

"Why not? They know me like that anyways, the difference was that I never used to smile back then but I will smile twice or when needed today."

"Are you two ready? Come out. Papa wants you out." Ragini interrupts as she walks inside.

The two nod and stand up, Swara did feel nervous but she hid it away and slowly walked out with Ragini and Kavita.

"Did you find out what Papa wants to announce?" Swara asks and Ragini shakes her head negatively.

What could it be that Shekhar wanted to announce? Could it be anything related to Swara or anything related to his business, no one could guess as he hadn't give hints either.

Swara walked down the stairs and everyone's gazes fall on her, Shekhar and Sharmishta smile seeing her walk down.

The Maheshwari's had also arrived at that time, Sharmishta greets and welcomes them in. Sanskar, who was behind everyone looks up and sees Swara walk down, he was mesmerised and she lifts her gazes, glancing around and at last spotting him.

The two, forgetting where they're standing begin to fix their gazes on each other, locking their eyes as if they had been enchanted by a magic spell. Kavita notices this and shakes Swara's arm, Swara moves her pupils away from Sanskar and turns her head towards Kavita.

"Enough Swara, see how everyone's looking." Kavita whispers and Swara realises.

"Welcome." Shekhar happily greets the Maheshwari's inside and they smile at him.

DP, Shekhar and RP had gotten carried away with business talks, boring Lakshya. AP, Sujata and Sharmishta also began to talk and it was only Sanskar who couldn't get his eyes off Swara.

He was too busy admiring Swara that he didn't realise when Shekhar had called him.

"Sanskar." RP says with a nudge, grabbing an immediate attention of Sanskar.

"Hmm?" He utters, not knowing what happened.

"I asked how are you."

"Sorry uncle, I'm fine. How are you?" Sanskar responds with a nervous scoff.

"Looks like someone has you under a spell." Shekhar teases and Sanskar looks at DP and RP, shaking his head while feeling embarrassed at the same time.

"Bhai, come see this." Lakshya interrupts and receives glares from DP.

"Excuse me." Sanskar excuses and Shekhar nods.

Lakshya then drags Sanskar and takes him to a chocolate fountain. "See how yummy this looks."

Sanskar gives the serious stares to Lakshya. "You brought me here to see this?"

"Yeah, it's just an idea and a hint of what I want in my birthday party."

Sanskar shakes his head in disbelief and walks away, Lakshya begins to follow.

Sanskar's gazes follow Swara as she talks to few girls in the party. "What's that." Lakshya whispers near Sanskar's ear and points at a cushion which has a box of ring.

"I'll laugh if Swara's getting engaged today." Lakshya sarcastically says after Sanskar's gazes land on that ring box. Lakshya's words dulled his expressions and he looks at Swara and then at Shekhar.

He wondered, what if Lakshya's words really are true.

Shekhar, who was ready to make an announcement walks besides Swara and holds her hand. She stares at Shekhar with confusion and a small smile.

"Attention everyone." Shekhar shouts and the crowd slowly goes silent, ready to listen to what Shekhar has to say.

"Thank you very much for attending this party and deciding to become a part of the announcement which I would be making now." Shekhar utters and Sanskar, who's mood was disheartened by Lakshya, hopes it isn't what Lakshya said.

"Today, during this party, I have decided to fix my daughters alliance with a very good and reputed friends son." Shekhar declares with a smile, Sanskar's pain slowly pinches his heart, making him receive a shock while Swara's smile slowly begins to fade while staring at her father.

Everyone else begin to clap. "I want my friend to come on stage." Shekhar adds, indicating him to come up.

Sanskar looks down while Swara looks at him. Slowly, out and away from the crowd, his friend RP stands besides Shekhar, smiling at everyone.

Sanskar looks up and then looks away, realisation struck him late and he glances back up to see his father standing besides Shekhar.

"This is the friend who's sons hand I want Swara to hold. Please wholeheartedly accept my daughter Swara's engagement with Ram Prasad's son Sanskar." The crowed begin to clap after Shekhar had finished announcing.

Sanskar was surprised but happy at the same time, Swara wasn't sure why she was much happier and felt lighter.

"I will be very happy announcing my son, Sanskar's engagement with Shekhar Ji's daughter Swara." RP proudly says and Sanskar curves a small smile on his lips.

Lakshya nudged him and that's when Sanskar yet again remembers and realises why Lakshya winked at him and why the family all of a sudden went quiet after he had walked into the hall.

RP signals Sanskar to come and Sanskar slowly walks towards RP. Sujata walks towards them with a ring box while Sharmishta brings the ring box too.

"You don't mind do you?" RP asks and Sanskar looks at Swara and shakes his head negatively.

"Are you happy with this alliance?" Shekhar asks Swara. Swara looks at Sanskar and then at Shekhar.

"I trust your choice." Swara replies which curves a smile on Shekhar's lips.

Sujata opens the ring box, forwarding it to Sanskar. Sanskar picks it up and Swara forwards her hand. He slides the ring in his finger and both had a small smile glued on their faces which they couldn't take away even when they want to. Sharmishta opens her ring box and forwards it to Swara.

Swara picks the ring up and slides it on Sanskar's ring finger.

Everyone clap, Swara tries her best to not become shy and Sanskar tries to hide his extra smile which is filled with happiness.

Everyone liked the pair of Swara and Sanskar, no one objected. Loads of people walk up to the two couple and utter their best wishes as well as taking pictures with the two.

"The floor is all yours." Shekhar says as he hovers around Swara and Sanskar.

Sanskar forwards his hand, asking Swara for a dance and Swara places her hand in his hand, the two walk in the middle where other couples join them.

A song begins to play and the couples begin to dance.

Sanskar began to twirl Swara.

The two were lost in each other's eyes this extent that they forgot they were dancing around people, for them it was like the two of them alone under a spotlight dancing with their souls connected.

The song stop and every clap, Swara and Sanskar were brought back out from their dream land and they glance around with a smile, appreciating the love they're receiving from people.

The party continued, everyone were too busy in their own talks. Taking this as an opportunity, Sanskar takes Swara to the side and keeps his hand across her eyes.

"Sanskar. . ."

"Shhh, don't say anything. Just walk with me." He interrupts her and brings her to the terrace of her house.

After making her stand at the spot he wanted her to stand, he slowly moves his hands away from her eyes. She slowly opens then and fireworks begin to explode in the air, causing a beautiful distraction for Swara, who couldn't take her eyes off the wonderful colours being exploded in the sky.

A smile curves up her lips as she enjoyed seeing those fireworks. Sanskar wasn't bothered about the fireworks, all he wanted was to see her smile and that's what he was doing along with admiring her cute reactions.

Her smiley scoff, which she sighed out had triggered his emotion. "I love you."

She freezes while her smile slowly fades, she wasn't sure if she heard the correct words as the fireworks made noises which could make a person mishear things.
She slowly moves her eyes on Sanskar and blinked at him.

"I love you Swara." She heard it again and her eyes dilate in shock as she wasn't expecting this.

Sanskar bends down on his knees, making them touch the floor.

"This is what they wanted us to say." Sanskar reminds and Swara simply blinks at him, unsure of what to say and do.

"I promise never to let go of your hand, I promise to always keep you smiling and if by chance you cry, then I'll cheer you up with anything you want. I promise to listen to you and do whatever you say, I promise I'll never fight with you. I love you Swara, will you be mine?" He proposes with another ring and Swara had the blank innocent expressions.

She couldn't believe it, she looked away and down, thinking about what she should say. Firstly, she bent down on her knees too, feeling the coldness of the floor and looked at Sanskar. Secondly, she kept her hand on his and gulped, feeling her heart beats increase, she had met his eyes and lost all the nervousness and had now more confidence. Finally, she had motioned with her eyes and expressions, moving closer to Sanskar and pecking his forehead and he closes his eyes, feeling it.

"I love you too." She softly pronounces it clear as she parts her lips away.

He opens his eyes and sees her parting away, she looks at him and he looks at her, the two intervene themselves in an eye-lock again to avoid the feeling of shyness.

The fireworks continued exploding in the background, supporting the beautiful scenery of two souls that were made for each other step closer of the process of becoming one.

This moment was captured by Kavita as she secretly took a picture.

"They're so cute." She whispered to herself and walked away, wanting to make sure no disturbance is caused.

Swara lowers her gazes and Sanskar slides the second ring on her finger, a smile curled up and she lifted her gazes, the two share a hug straight after and Swara closes her eyes while resting her head on his chest and he allows the extra smile to curve up whilst he had his chin rested on her head.

Swara hugged Sanskar tight and slowly opens her eyes.

"Do you know Swara, I never knew this was destined from the first time we met."

"People say the truth, destiny does have the best things stored for us."

Sanskar curled a proud smirk "So you admit I'm the best thing that destiny brought you?"

"Hmmm." She responds.

"You can openly admit it."

"What else do you want to hear? Hmmm indicates a positive answer doesn't it."

"But. . ."

"You promised you won't fight with me, have you forgotten already? Did you really mean them or were you saying?"

"Once I give my words, I never take them back." Sanskar says and Swara breaks the hug, looking at him.

"I want to eat ice cream."

"What? Now?"

"Yes."

"But. . ."

Swara raised her left eyebrow and crosses her arm, giving him a look and he rests his upper lip on his bottom list, remembering the promises he made to her.

Swara's lips curve a fake smile, which had indicated that she was the boss.

"Now we should be getting back to the party, after the party I'll be ready for an ice cream walk." Swara utters and stands up, dusting her gown.

Sanskar also stands up and smiles. "Not bad, already wanting to spend time with me." He utters, wanting it to turn it in his favour.

Swara looks at him with a small smile and shakes her head in disbelief, walking away while he follows.
