RECAP-- SHIVI SHOPPING

Next day at Roka Ceremony of Kaina-

Pandyas arrive at Narayan House with shagun and gifts. Both the families greet each other. Karan and Naina hug each other tightly.

R- Chhod bhi do ab, sab dekh rahe hain tum donon ko...

S- Bass kar bhai, saans to lene de bechari ko...

Karan and Naina leave each other. Dhara goes to Naina and breaks knuckles around her forehead.

D- Bohot acchi lag rahi ho, red saree ki chamak hi alag hai...Mujhe laga tha tum donon kuch western pehnoge but I am surprised....

N- Thank you Aunty, ye Raavi ne suggest kiya tha, she is the best..

Dhara pats Raavi's cheeks. She looks at Shiva too. Deep down, she wants them to come together. It's her sixth sense telling her that these two are made for each other.

D- Tum bhi bohot acchi lag rahi ho Raavi beta...This colour suits you..

Raavi remembers last evening's conversation with Shiva and smiles. He has a good taste, she thinks to herself.

R- Thank you Aunty.

Other side, Karan is continuously staring at Naina talking to his mother. Shiva notices this and looks at that side. For a moment, he also gets lost in Raavi's beauty but his message tone brings him out of his trance.

S- *to himself* Ye main do din se kya kar raha hun, ho kya gaya hai mujhe.
..

He shrugs off his ideas again as he goes to Karan to tease him.

S- Itna ghoorega to uske chehre pe gaddhe ho jaenge bhai..

K- Kya bhai, aap chedne ka ek mauka nahi chhodte ho na...

S- Arre, maine kab cheda tujhe, tu nahi dekh raha,sorry ghoor nahi raha tha tu apni would be wife ko.??

K- Fine, ghoor raha tha, meri apni girlfriend hai, kuch galat kiya kya...

S- Naa..naa bilkul nahi, ghoor jitna mann hai, maine kab roka??

The preist calls everyone for starting the rasam. Dhara applies tilak on Naina's forehead while Prafulla applies on Karan. The preist chants some mantras.

Pr- Ab inpe suhaag ki chunar daaliye.

Both Dhara and Prafulla take out chunari from their bags and are confused looking at each other.

D- Mrs. Narayan, ye chunari, matlab aap??

Ma- Dhara ji, vo hamare yahan suhaag ki chunar maayke se hoti hai..

Dhara's face fall.

D- Ooh, chaliye koi baat nahin, main ye waali wapis rakh deti hoon...

Ma- Jee theek hai..

Raavi sees Dhara's face and identifies that she wanted to put the chunari on Naina herself but agrees to do it the the other way for her mother. She thinks of something.

Aa Prafulla is about to put the suhaag ki chunar on Naina, Raavi stops her.

P- Kya hua Raavi beta, aise shubh kaam ke beech mein kyon toka??

R- Iss kaam ko aur shubh banane ke liye...

D- Matlab...

R- Abhi samjhati hoon...

She takes both the chunar and ties their corners together and brings Dhara to the stage too..

D- Raavi beta kya kar rahi ho??

R- Aunty, roke ki chunar mein badon ka pyaar aur unki blessings hoti hain, to phir meri behen ko sirf ek  parivaar ki blessings kyon mili, life ke iss stage mein usse apni donon maa ka pyar milna chahiye na...

Ma- Sahi kaha tumne...

R- To bass, Naina pe donon odhni daliye, saath mein, taaki usse yaad rahe ki ab usski do families hain, double pyaar, double responsibilities..

Dhara and Prafulla complete the rasam. Shiva watches Raavi in wonder.

S-*to himself* Kitni mature hai ye, jo baat ham mein se kisi ne bhi nahi sochi, vo isne soch li aur sabko samjhaya bhi...Bohot acchi hai Raavi..

All of them bless Naina and Karan while Shiva and Raavi go to the stage together and hug them. While hugging them, their fingers touch each other and Shiva feels something different.

This wasn't like a day before when he had literally helped her in walking. He pulls his hands and looks at Raavi who seems to be unaffected.

They all proceed to have dinner. Parents get busy with each other while Karan and Naina are busy in their photoshoot, leaving Shiva Raavi in each other's company.

R- Shiva aapne to kuch liya hi nahin hai, please have something...

S- Arre bass bass aur nahi..

R- Ab samajh aaya aapki body itni acchi kese hai...

S- Hmm??

R- Aap itna kam khaate hain to fit to honge hi na, main to you know bohot badi foodie hoon...

S- But tumhe dekh ke nahi lagta...

R- Yeah, that just makes everything so much easier...khaao peeo aish karo..

S- Right, vese tumne jo stage pe kaha, uske liye thanks, Maa ka bohot mann tha vo rasam karne ka...

R- Ismein thanks ki kya baat hai, ab ham family hain, aur family mein ek dusre ka khayal rakhna chahiye na...

S- That's sweet of you Raavi, you know what, tumse jab bhi milta hoon na, tumhari ek nayi quality discover karta hoon main, you are a layered person...

R- Is that a compliment??

S- Of course, jese kal shopping skills, parson paintings, usse pehle tumari apni behen ke liye care....

R- Ek baat bataun, mujhe first meeting mein aap na bilkul ONLY KAAM NO BAKWAAS type ke lage the, but aap actually kaafi jovial hain, I like such people...

S- What??

R- No, I mean not like that, I just meant...

S- It's Okay, I know...Chill...

R- Main, main zara guests ko dekh ke aati hoon...

As she turns, Shiva notices that her top's hook is broken and it is supported only by one hook which is also about to break.

He looks here and there and sees everyone is busy. He calls out for Raavi and she turns back to him.

He comes to her and covers her back by one hand and holds her other hand. Raavi is stunned by this action.

R- Sh.. Shiva ye aap, is everything okay?

S- Shh...just come with me..

He takes her to her room and leaves her.

R- *confused* Shiva, ye...ye kya tha??

S- Vo, vo tumhari blouse ka hook, vo..vo toot gaya hai..

Raavi is shocked and her hands reaches her back. She sees her back through the mirror while Shiva turns around because her back is clearly visible to him in the mirror and he doesn't want to embarrass her.

S- Tum, tum usse fix kar lo, I'll go...

R- But, how will I fix this? Ye dusra hook bhi pata nahi kahan gir gaya hai..

S- Safety pin laga lo...

R- Ooh haan..

S- Fine.

He walks out of the room and goes to the hall. A few moments later, he sees Raavi coming towards hall. She changed her style of dupatta and took it in a way to cover her back. She comes straight to Shiva..

R- Thank you so much Shiva..

S- Arre it's fine, tumhari dress fix ho gayi??

R- Haan ho gayi...

They chit chat for another half an hour until all the guests leave and both the families wrap up all the arrangements.

Now they sit for finalising the date for engagement amd marriage. Engagement is fixed two weeks later and marriage three weeks. Naina and Karan get happy.

G- Inn teen hafton mein jitna time chahe bita lo apni family ke sath, uske baad hamari beti banke aana hai tumhe.

N- Jee Uncle.

Raavi hugs Naina while Karan and Shiva smile looking at the sisters' bond. Its time for Pandya family to leave. Karan and Naina hug each other and they start leaving.

S- Bye Raavi, see you soon...

R- Byee..

This good bye was different. They could feel it. Had something changed between them today??
