RECAP-- SHIVA SAVES RAAVI

Full darkness in the room.

He squeezes her hands and then tightly hugs her. She reciprocate too, their chests rubbing together and tears in her eyes. He pats her back and breaks the hug. He cups her cheeks and then wipes her tears with his thumbs. She rises on her toes and leans towards him, he comes forward too.

Their lips are about to touch when lights come on. Who is he? Her eyes flutter open and she sees him, epitome of beauty...He is Shiva...

Raaviiiiiii

Raavi wakes up with a jerk on Naina calling her name loudly. Damn, it was a dream, how can she even have such a dream? She and Shiva, really...

N- Kab se utha rahi hun tujhe sunai nahi de rha kya..

R- Nahi, vo main sapna dekh rahi thi kuch...

N- Par tu to itni late kabhi nahi uthti, tabiyat thik hai na teri...

R- Haan vo bass kal sone mein kaafi late ho gaya tha na issliye...

She realised she shouldn't have said that in front of Naina. She would get worried.

N- Kyon, late kaise ho gaya...

R- Arre vo..haan vo teri wajah se...

N- Meri?

R- Haan to, teri shaadi mein itna kaam karna pad raha hai, har koi mujhe hi tailor ke paas bhejta hai, har ghante sab guests ke liye chai banao aur bhi pata nahi kya kya....tu na...dekh kaise badla leti hun main tujhse...

N- Pehle shaadi to kar behen, phir le lena badla..dhundh kisi ko...
Chal ab main change kar ke aati hun, tu ready ho jaa...

Raavi is stunned at the mention of marriage. Yes, next is her turn of getting married. She goes in front of the mirror and remembers whatever happened last few weeks closing her eyes...

Him dropping her home...
Paintings...
Shopping mall..
Helping her in roka...
Planning a prank together...
Them getting lost in each other at engagement ceremony...
Last night, him saving her...

Shiva, she says and open her eyes. Yes, he is the one...

R- Main..main Shiva se..nahi aisa kaise ho sakta hai..[pause]...but kyon nahi ho sakta, kitne acche hain vo, sabki kitni care karte hain, itna pyaar...lakhon mein ek hain..

She smiles talking to herself when Naina comes out of the bathroom.

N- Behen, kya khade khade muskura rahi hai, thik to hai na...

Raavi comes out of her la la world and hugs Naina suddenly. She made them meet, they got along due to Naina and Karan only.

N- Kya hua?

R- I love you...I love you Naina, you are the best.

N- I know that, par tu itni khush kyon hai achanak se...

R- Naina, shayad..shayad mujhe pyaar ho gaya hai...I mean jo ye feeling hai vese kabhi nahi hua mujhe feel...

Naina is surprised..

N- What, kab kaise kaun...mujhe ab bata rahi hai tu, ek ek chiz bata mujhe, puri love story, aur sabse pehle ye to bata kon hai vo sahab zaade..

R- Sab bataungi, pehle tu apni shaadi pe focus kar...abhi mujhe usske side ke feelings nahi pata hain, vo friend maanta hai mujhe...tujhe baad mein bataungi...

N- Kya yaar, please bata na...

R-Nahi..ab main jaa rahi hun ready hone..

She goes inside and gets ready, wears best of her yellow lehenga and looks in mirror...

R- Shiva, aapke dil mein mere liye kya hai, kya aap mujhe sirf friend maante ho kya ya fir aapke dil mein bhi....

Everyone calls for her in the haldi ceremony. Prafulla sends her to pick one of the relatives from airport so she goes cribbing because Pandyas are about to arrive and she has to go.

Meanwhile, Pandya family arrives. Karan and Shiva take blessings of Mummy and Papa while Naina and Shiva hug each other.

But Shiva's eyes are looking for Raavi. Since he has woken up, his mind has been consumed by her thoughts. Is she fine?

S- Naina, Raavi nahi dikh rahi, thik hai na vo...

N- Haan bhaiya, vo actually airport gayi hai kuch guests ko pick karne, bass aati hi hogi...

He keeps looking at the door for her and after a few minutes, she arrives. Damn, she looks ethereal.. How does she manage to slay every look, be it casual or traditional, thought Shiva.

Raavi's eyes twinkle on seeing him. She serves tea and all to guests and runs to him.

S- Raavi, tum tum thik to ho na..kya zaroorat thi itna dur jane ki tumhe, kisi aur ko bhej deti...aur vo Aman, usne phir se to kuch nahi kiya na..

R- Aapne usse kisi layak chhoda tha kya jo vo dobara aisa kuch karne ki sochega...

S- Right, tumhe koi pareshan kare aur main usse chhod dunga kya..

R- Kyon..

S- Because I care for you yaar...

Raavi smiles at him. Everyone gathers for haldi ceremony. Naina and Karan are sitting sidewise with a curtain in between them. Dhara starts the rasam for Karan and Prafulla starts for Naina. Shiva goes and smudges Karan's face with haldi.

Raavi also goes to Naina and smudges her whole face with haldi. Naina also takes a lot of haldi on her hand and puts it all on Raavi's face.

Dhara sees this and shouts.

D- Nainaaa...ye kya kiya beta tumne...

N- Kya hua Maa, kuch galat kiya kya maine..

D- Beta ye shagun ki haldi hai, isse sirf dulhan aur dulhe ko lagana hota hai...tumne Raavi ko laga diya..

R- Sorry Aunty, main abhi saaf kar deti hun..

Meanwhile, Shiva also cane and stood behind Raavi to put haldi on Naina, waiting for his turn. As Raavi gets up and turns, her leg slips and she is about to fall when Shiva just catches her by waist and her hand goes to his cheeks. All the haldi of her hands is smudged on his kurta and face.

Ma- Ab ye kya kiya Raavi, Shiva ko bhi haldi laga di, tum bacche kuch samajhte nahi jo na, kahan na Mrs Pandya ne ki ye haldi sirf dulhan aur dulhe ko lagti hai, tumhe ek vaar mein samajh nahi aata kya..

R- Sorry Mummy, vo mera pair slip ho gaya, I am Sorry Shiva...

S- It's Okay Raavi, koi baat nahin..

D- Chalo jao ab saaf kar lo tum donon..

Raavi takes Shiva to guest room but sees that its washroom is already occupied. So they then go to ger room.

R- Shiva, aap andar jaa ke clean kar lijiye, main hun yahan..

S- Hmm...

He goes inside and washes his face and wipes his kurta. By the tine, Raavi also cleans her face in front of the mirror.

She sees Shiva coming out of bathroom but his kurta has become wet and he gets uncomfortable.

R- Shiva, aap yahan aa jaiye, main aapka kurta sukha deti hun..

S- Hmm..

He comes and stands in front of mirror, his back facing the mirror. She takes her hair drier and starts blowing it in his kurta.

They are too close....Shiva us getting affected by this proximity but not showing it on face.

S- *in his mind* Ye..ye kya ho raha hai mujhe, Raavi ke baare mein sochta rehta hun har time aur abhi ye, Help me God...

A few mins later, Raavi sees s tattoo on his chest...It is written Siya with a heart. She immediately leaves him and switches it off.

S- Kya hua..

R- K..kuch nahi, ho gaya hai, baaki sukh jayega..

S- Thank you..

He thanks his stars and leaves the room and joins everyone in hall.

Raavi looks at herself in mirror and touches her reflection--

R- Siya...Kya Shiva ki life mein ab kisi aur ki jagah hai..

Prafulla calls for her and she goes, not thinking much about this..But yes ,I need to figure this out, she thought....
