Aishwarya POV

"Whatttttt????"

He screamed at the top of his lungs and immediately stepped down from the bed. I chuckled looking at his shocked and excited face with a smile of amusement and doubt.

"Yes,"

I agreed and felt him pulling me up and I also stood up on the floor.

"Really???"

He asked again and I nodded lightly.

Still, a part of me was confused and unaware of how I would do it.

But, he lifted me in his arms and squealed joyfully.

"Oh, My Goodness,"

I could feel the happiness in his words and I laughed. He took a few spins and I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck to prevent me from falling off.

"Hukum,"

I exclaimed and he put me down.

My heartbeats had raced suddenly and I placed my palm on my chest to feel my wild heartbeats.

"Come with me,"

He said all of a sudden and grabbed my wrist.

"I want to show you something,"

He said and I laughed a little.

"But, what?"

I tried to question and he smiled looking at me.

"Somewhere,"

He teased me a little and we both walked out of the chamber towards the tree garden behind the chambers.

I looked at the cloudy sky and felt a slow breeze tickling my skin. The broken leaves were gathering up on the floor due to the frequent rains and storms and the grass was wet but not muddy much.

It was silent yet noisy. The noise of the birds, insects and leaves rustling was beautiful.

"Where are we going?"

I tried to ask and he looked at me with a face of keep-walking-silently.

I kept walking with him and then suddenly my sight fell on a swing hanging from the tree. It was a huge and thick tree and I suddenly laughed.

I had never seen it before.

"You made it?"

I asked and he smiled.

"Bina jhule ke sawan ka kya anand?"

"What is Sawan without swings?"

He asked and I chuckled.

I ran towards the swing and looked at it. It was made of thick rope and tied tightly. There was a large wooden block attached to the lower side. It was wide enough to settle two.

"You climb the tree to tie it?"

I asked and he came closer.

"Yes,"

He muttered and gently held my shoulder to make me sit on the swing. I felt my feet almost a foot above in the air when I sat and I could not stop but laugh.

I held the ropes beside me firmly and saw him looking at me.

He caressed my cheek and asked in a slow voice.

"Did something happen? Aishwarya,"

I blinked silently and tried not to shrink my smile while shaking my head.

"No,"

I said in a slow voice and he nodded.

Smiling a little he walked behind me and I felt him gently pushing the swing.

A wave of laughter broke as I felt tickles in my stomach.

"Hahahahah,"

I laughed and felt him slowly increasing the speed of the swing.

I was feeling the intensity of my laughter increasing with the speed of the swing.

At first, I was feeling there was no one who would say 'Do not laugh so much and too loud'.

"Aishwarya, you know lying or hiding something will also make you go to hell,"

He said all of a sudden while giving me another push.

I blinked silently and my laughter lowered.

"Yes, I know,"

I muttered in a slow voice.

"Then, tell me what you are hiding,"

He asked and I lowered my gaze to the ground. The swing was reaching too high now. My anklets and bangles ticklings along with the swinging.

"When I went to the prayer hall..."

I started.

"...Jiji asked me to show my Mehndi to her. She liked it but said that I cheated. Because mine is dark and hers were not. She also said that mine is beautiful. I told her that I did not apply my Mehndi but you did. So, she talked very rude and wrong about you,"

"What did she say?"

He asked in a slow voice and I lowered my gaze.

"She said that what kind of husband does. She called you a half-man,"

I said and he burst into laughter.

"Really?"

I inhaled a deep breath by seeing him laughing and I felt him walking aside as the swing was already very high.

"Ji, it hurt me a lot,"

I tried to say and he smiled looking at me.

"What did you say then?"

He asked and I blinked silently before saying.

"I said that you are not a half-man. I asked her to spend a night with you to know,"

The moment I finished he screamed.

"Whattt???? What the hell did you say?"

He asked with a slight shock and anger in his voice.

I lowered my gaze with guilt and said.

"She does not know you so I asked her to spend some time with you to know you. And, since you stay busy in the morning, night is good,"

I tried to say and I saw him walking closer to me. The swing was slowing down now and he suddenly held the ropes in his hand and it startled a little before stopping.

He did not say anything but silently sit beside me and I felt him holding my hand in his hand while holding the rope firmly with his other hand.

"You should not say that. I am only your husband and I will only and only spend my night with you and day too,"

He said in a slow voice and I nodded.

"Yes, I realised it after a slap,"

I said in a slow voice.

"She slapped you?"

He asked all of a sudden and I could not help but nod.

"She did,"

I said and he feathered the back of my hand with his thumb.

"It's okay, do not feel bad. My Bhaisa slap me sometimes too,"

He said in a slow voice and I shook my head.

"I am not feeling bad but she should not say anything wrong about you. It hurt me,"

I tried to say and he smiled looking at me.

"I wonder if you have killed her if you were holding a sword back then. You look so angry about it,"

He said and I suddenly burst into laughter.

"You know I would never hurt anyone,"

I said immediately.

He nodded silently and said.

"Yes, that's why you are special to me, Aishwarya,"

I nodded and I felt him moving the swing slowly with his feet.

"Also, I think they do not understand you because they do not have a man like you, Hukum. I mean I do not know if I should feel bad about myself or them. They are judging you because they have never witnessed a man like you, I feel bad for them. That, there is no one for them to support and praise for their talents,"

I tried to say and he nodded.

"That's true, Aishwarya. You do not know how many women spend their whole life under the shadow of their husbands. Never knowing what air feels like, never knowing what their heart beats like. My mother spend a little of her life that way and that life ended her even without knowing what life actually is. You know when you will start the business, women will join you. They will be able to make a living for themselves, they will be able to earn for themselves and create an identity for themselves. Not for you but at least for them, you should take this chance,"

He said and I nodded lightly.

I placed my head on his shoulder while swinging silently with him.

It was peaceful and quiet with him.

Slowly he leaned in closer and pecked my forehead.

"But, I felt bad that she slapped you. She should not. You are my wife now,"

He said and I could feel the rage building up in his voice.

I smiled and held his hand tightly.

"It's okay. It was my mistake, I should not have talked to her like that,"

I said and he made me look at him.

"What do you think the best of avenging the slap to my wife's cheek?"

He asked and I laughed a little.

"No, Hukum, No need to do that,"

He shook his head and gritted his teeth a little.

"I am not sparing her like that,"

He said in a slow voice and leaned in closer to peck my cheeks.

"Please, Hukum, do not do anything. You already troubled them enough by asking them to cook today. They all must be grinding themselves in the kitchen while fasting,"

I said and he smiled.

"I do not know but I am quite possessive about a few things in my life,"

He said in a slow voice and I looked at him.

"I am not a thing, Hukum,"

He smiled.

"It's a metaphor only, Baby,"

He said and I smiled while looking at his lips.

"Ahh, do not look at me like that, Aishwarya. I do not want to make you do any sin today,"

He said and I laughed a little.

"Are you feeling Sick again?"

I tried to ask in a slow voice and he thinned in his brows.

"Sick?"

He asked and I chuckled a little.

"Yes... Sick, you remember my touch?"

I said in a slow voice and he smiled lowering his gaze.

"It's a secret, Aishwarya. Do not bring it up now,"

He said and suddenly he lifted his gaze and looked into my eyes.

"Well, your use of the word 'Sick' is a metaphor too in your condition,"

He said in a slow voice and I confusingly thinned my brows.

"What? What do you mean?"

I asked immediately.

He smiled and suddenly a girlish voice caught my attention.

"Bai-sa, Maharaj is asking for both of you,"

She said and I looked into her direction. I saw her standing a little far from us and Hukum said.

"Coming,"

I looked at Hukum as he started to stand up from the swing and he pulled my hand along with him.

"What are they doing?"

I asked the attendee and she said with her gaze low to earth.

"It's a celebration. They are expecting you to dance,"

She said and I looked at Hukum for a moment and then said to her.

"I do not dance,"

"We are coming,"

Hukum said and I looked at the attendee turning away and walking already.

"But, Hukum I do not want to go,"

I tried to say and he wrapped his hands around my shoulder gently and pecked my cheeks.

"Then we will see the dance of others,"

I sighed and nodded.

"Okay,"

"And, maybe I will see you dance,"

He said and I looked at him.

"But, I do not dance,"

He smiled.

"That's a lie again. I have seen you humming and grooving alone,"

He said and I bit on my lower lip.

I timidly lowered my gaze as we started walking back to the celebration hall.

The walk was filled with small and funny conversations and we both entered the celebration hall only to find that everyone were already there.

I looked at all my sisters and Hukum must have noticed it already as he smiled looking at me.

"Please, Hukum, do not do anything to them,"

I said in a slow voice and he just smiled.

"I am not promising anything,"

He said as we both walked towards our couch.

"But they are my sisters,"

I tried to say and he smiled.

"Mishaps happen, Aishwarya,"

Now, he smirked.
