Aishwarya POV
"But, why did you think that you would hurt me?"
I asked and he smiled looking at me. My eyes blinked silently when I saw him shifting closer to me. I felt her hold travelling up to my forearms from my hands to slowly pull me closer.
I inhaled deeply and looked at him forwarding his hand towards me. I lifted myself a little up and placed my head on his bicep. The mild fragrance of his cologne travelled down my nose and I lowered my gaze from his eyes.
It was comfortable.
I closed my eyes for a moment and my eyes caught the attention of his chest.
"I did not know. I though maybe I would end touching you the way you would not like,"
He said and I thinned my brows with confusion. I angled my face and looked into eyes.
"What do you mean?"
I tried to question and looked at his calm and peaceful face until the way it was when we were kissing on the bed.
He smiled a little and pulled the comforter up to our midriffs.
"I mean that I was afraid of losing control on my senses and I might have ended up touching you places that you would not like,"
He said and I was still not getting it.
"What places?"
I asked and he inhaled a deep breath. I saw him forwarding his hand close to my face to tuck my hair behind my ear.
"You tell me, what would the places you would not like me to touch?"
He asked and I thinned my brows with confusion.
He had touched my face while hugging me, he had touched my back while tying the knot of my blouse, he touched my feet on our first night and he always touches my hand and waist. And, I did not dislike any of those touched.
"There is none,"
I answered and he thinned his brows.
"Are you sure?"
He questioned and I nodded.
"Yes, you have touched my cheek, my feet, my hands, my waist, my back and everywhere,"
I said and he chuckled.
"Oh, yes, I remember,"
He smiled and kept looking at me. I felt a little suspicious with his smile and lowered my gaze.
Oh Shit!
Yes, he had not touched my chest yet.
And, the thought alone sent a shiver down my spine. I immediately lowered my gaze and closed my eyes.
"What happened?"
He asked and I just shook my head.
"Nothing, Good night,"
I muttered and immediately turned opposite to his face.
Did he mean to touch my chest?
But, why would he need to touch my chest?"
"What happened? Aishwarya,"
He asked and I felt him hovering over by shifting closer to me. He placed his head on his one elbow to support himself and I turned a little to look at me.
"Nothing,"
I said and he just stared silently into my eyes.
I saw him leaning in closer and pecking gently against my forehead.
"You know you are so precious to me,"
He said and I thinned my brows.
"Why?"
I asked curiously and he placed his forearm on my chest and his fingers started to gently feather my cheek.
I could feel my heart beats racing and I could feel myself looking into his eyes when he spoke.
"Because, I would never be able to find another girl like you,"
He said and I laughed.
"But, there are so many women of my complexion and I do not even look like a princess,"
I said and he thinned his brows.
"There are but no one has the innocence like you, patience like you, emotions like you, care like you, talent like you, voice like you, hair like you, shame like you, eyes like you, lips like you, can cook food like you, sing like you and there is no one like you,"
He said and a slight smile appeared on my face.
My heart beats just raced listening to it and I was feeling timid hearing all this.
"Hukum, I have never thought this way,"
I said and he smiled.
"That's why you are special because you never cared about yourself,"
He said and I kind of agreed to him. But, no one had ever told me this so how would I have know about it.
"But, Hukum, do not you think that all the women are same. Women care for their husband, their children, their family then how am I have to be different,"
I said and he held my hand in his hand.
"Aishwarya, you are like my mother,"
He said and I just silently stared at him. His eyes were looking into mine and I was looking into his.
I gulped nervously as he brought up his mother and I silently lowered my gaze.
I felt him lowering his head down and pressing against the side of my head while laying beside me. I could feel his fingers nervously tracing my bangles.
I closed my eyes and could not stop myself from touching his hand.
"I am sorry for your mother,"
I said in my slow voice and I felt his heavy breathing against my cheeks.
"You are exactly like her. She was innocent like you, so much selfless, caring, loving and gave everything to my father. Not every good person get good thing in return, Aishwarya,"
He said and I could feel his voice hurt and hoarse.
I moved my gaze to look into her eyes and he looked into mine.
"She gaze birth to the three brilliant sons. She got everything. I know she must feel proud looking at you three,"
I said and he smiled a little.
"You think?"
I nodded.
"I can bet my life on it,"
And, he chuckled a little.
"You know about her?"
He asked and I nodded.
"Yes, Jiji told me everything she know,"
I told him and he blinked silently.
"You know she trusted my father a lot. She loved him immensely and gave everything she had but,"
He said and I questioned.
"But?"
He looked up at me and continued.
"But, it was never enough for him. His hunger was never enough,"
He said and I confusingly thinned my brows.
"Hunger for what?"
I asked and he inhaled a deep breath.
"Hunger for women,"
He said looking into my eyes and I muttered.
"Oh,"
"What would he do with the women?"
I asked and he lowered her gaze. A short silence followed and he lifted her gaze to look at me.
"He made them produce babies,"
He said and a felt a little twisting in my stomach.
"Babies?"
I asked and he nodded.
"He had always considered women a way of calming his hunger down and a way of producing babies. I hate him so much,"
He said and I gulped nervously.
"Hukum, you do not like babies?"
I asked and he looked at me with the silence. His lips spread widely and muttered.
"I want babies but only from you not from a whole village of women,"
He said with slight frustration and I chuckled.
"Village?"
I muttered and I did not know but it made me laugh even more.
He also laughed and pulled me closer to him. I felt his arm around me and his forehead touching my head.
I closed my giving in to the comfortable warmth of him.
"Hukum,"
"Hnn?"
He hummed against my cheek and I opened my eyes to look at me.
"Can I ask you something?"
I asked and he nodded.
"Yes, Aishwarya,"
He muttered in his slow voice and his eyes were closed.
I could feel his fingers till tracing the gold bangles in my hand and I inhaled a deep breath before trying to put my doubts in words.
"I am a girl that is why I am not allowed to do that but why you did not ask to see me before the wedding. How could you marry randomly, with any girl?"
I asked and he lifted his gaze to look at me. The silence followed for a moment and I felt him blinking silently while answering.
"I did not know. It all happened so suddenly. When your father asked me for the hand in the marriage with you. I just could not deny as if it was meant to happen,"
He said and I nervously looked at him.
"Are you happy with me? Hukum,"
I asked and he lifted his gaze to look at me. He leaned in to press his lips against my cheek and nodded.
"Very happy,"
I smiled a little and tried to calm my racing heart beats.
"Are you?"
He asked and I smiled.
"Ji,"
He kissed my cheek and I could feel him getting sleepy.
"Good Night, Aishwarya,"
He said and I replied in a slow voice.
"Good Night, Hukum,"
His eyes were closed and I also closed my eyes. The weather was turning chilly with the arrival of winters but his warmth and comfort of the body was making me feel good.
In his arms and comfort I did not realise when I fell asleep.
I woke up when I heard the noise of birds and slight brightness falling on my eyes.
I immediately straightened and looked towards the window.
How could I sleep till this late?
I immediately stepped down. Even Hukum was up and not there.
I looked at Moni who just entered the bedroom and I immediately questioned.
"Where is Hukum?"
She smiled and answered.
"He is practising fencing,"
I thinned my brows and muttered a little.
"Oh,"
"You can meet him if you want,"
She said and I looked at her.
"Shall I take you there?"
She asked and I counter questioned.
"Can you?"
She nodded.
"Why cannot?"
She said and I smiled.
"Okay,"
"Okay,"
She repeated and I said.
"Let me get freshen up a little,"
She nodded and immediately walked into the bathing chamber. I quickly did my morning business and came out.
Found her waiting I smiled. She helped me walk through the galleries of the chamber and then she stopped.
"He is there,"
She said and I nodded.
I looked at the door in front of me. I looked at Moni who turned back to go away from there and I nervously stepped forward. As soon as I stepped inside through the door I looked at the garden in front of me. It was an open area with roof and two walls on the side. The front part was open. I looked the walls that had different kinds of swords and weapons hanging to it.
I stepped even more further in search of him and there my sight fell on him. His hand holding the sword. He was half naked only wearing the white lion cloth. His body was sweating and he suddenly turned to face me. His eyes were looking at the sword and just by looking at him a strong gasp escaped my lips. The sweat beads were falling down his forehead all the way to his shoulders and chest.
I stepped even further and suddenly his sight noticed me.
"Good morning, Aishwarya,"
He said from a far and I lowered my head a little.
"Good Morning, Hukum,"
He smiled and I saw him coming closer to me. My heart beats were racing by seeing him holding the naked sword in his hand. He stood closer to me and I looked at his hand forwarding towards the jug and glass that were kept on the small stool beside me.
He poured water in the glass and drank in front of me.
I did not know but looking at him I was feeling thirsty.
I blinked nervously and tried to ask.
"Is there any war coming up soon?"
He smiled looking at me and shook his head.
"No, I am just practising,"
He said and I nodded.
I did not know but I wanted to hold sword in my hand once in my life but my family was not like even listening to my requests.
But, would he?
"Hukum,"
I called him slowly.
"Hnn?"
He hummed and I felt a little nervous while forming my request.
"Hukum, Can I hold that sword once?"
I asked and he smiled and nodded after a calculative silence.
"Yes, sure, come here,"
He said and I stepped closer to him. He forwarded his hand to me and I slowly forwarded my hand. My palms were turning sweaty with the nervousness and fear. He held the sword with one and I tried to hold the sword with my hand. I saw him slowly removing his hold and it suddenly felt heavy.
A wave of fear ran into my body as I lost the balance of it. It moved forward towards his chest and I found him immediately pressing his hand against the sharp side of it.
"Aaram se,"
"Careful,"
He immediately said and I looked at his hand that started bleeding insanely.
