Previously on Aisha.

Duke and Anna make their way into the tower where Duke finds a blonde that catches his eyes. He is shunned and Anna comes in to tease. The lights suddenly go off and the crown has disappeared.

Chapter 9

"The crown. It's gone." Duke says in disbelief. His heart already increasing the pace at which it beats. The sound of people murmuring and screams fill the room.

" Lockdown. No one goes in or out!!" One of the guards orders.

Suddenly a window glass is broken and in comes a gas grenade. "Puff" the grenade goes off and the whole room is filled with smoke.

Nothing looks clear enough.

Just then a cloaked figure jumps out the window, shattering more glass. More screams are heard. Anna and Duke quickly follow.

The cloaked person dashes into the dark garden with the darkness serving as camouflage.

There are faint lights emerging from the other side of the garden. It seems to be the road, giving the garden a little glow.

"Can't make out anything. It's too dark." Duke exclaims."

"Keep your voice down. He could be close. Anna advices him. They keep walking slowly, further into the garden. Eyes and ears alert for any sound or movement.

As Duke takes slow and careful steps, he steps on something.

Not knowing exactly what is it, He bends and picks it up. It feels like human skin. And hanging right below it, is a long blonde wig.

"I found something!" He says.
"Its a wax max" Anna says with certainty.

"Its familiar." He says.
He narrows his eyes, deep in thought. The suddenly widens them again. This time, gazing at Anna.

"What?" She asks in curiosity.
"The blonde damsel!!!" He exclaims.

"What?" Anna asks, totally confused.
"It's the blonde girl who ditched me. Except, that wasn't her face. Neither was this her hair!!" Duke says overwhelmingly.

"That means,our criminal is not a he, it's a she. It's a woman." Anna continues.

Just then they hear a "click" sound. They both take out their pistols quickly and aim it directly at the source of the sound. They take slow steps forward.
"Show yourself" Duke commands but everything remains dead silent except the sound of their footsteps.

"Show yourself" he says again.

Suddenly a bright light shines right in their faces, temporarily blinding them. "Vroom" the light heads towards them with speed.

"Watch out" Duke screams and pushes Anna out of the way. Both fall to the ground as the motorcycle zooms past them.

Duke while on his stomach, partially blind from the bright light as effect, aims at the bike and fires. "Pitink" he hears as the bullet makes contact with the bonnet of the bike.

"C'mon, we gotta go after her" Duke says as he helps Anna to her feet. They quickly run outside, into the Mercedes and they speed off in pursuit of the speedbike.

"How do we find her?" Anna asks, panting heavily.
"I installed a tracker on her bike when I shot."

Anna quickly turns on the GPS and finds a small red blip blinking on the radar.

"She's close." She says.
"How close?"
"Make a left!!" She orders. Duke quickly adjusts the gear, pulls the handbrake hard, spins the steering wheel to the left and steps on the acceleration clutch, causing the the Mercedes to make a sharp drift into an alley.

The car rumbles as it moves on the rough pavement.

Duke cuts into the speedway with a left drift causing screeches and honking of vehicles. It's a three lane speedway and four cars ahead of them rides the criminal.

"There she is!" Says Anna. Duke increases the speed of the vehicle, evading the ongoing traffic.

The rider noticing that they are gaining up on her, takes out a magnum and releases fire. The bullets hit the Mercedes with a ptink! Ptink!!
Duke moves through the ongoing traffic in order to evade the bullets.

Anna sticks out her upper body with her pistol and returns fire.

"Kink!! A bullet hits the side mirror of the Mercedes. A centimetre escape from Anna's stomach. She immediately returns fire but mysteriously, the rider does not fire back.

A few metres away from them stands the London bridge.

"She's heading for the bridge!!" Anna screams over to Duke. He adjusts the gears once more and steps on the acceleration.

The rider makes it unto the London bridge and increases speed. However its not enough to shake them off. She turns back and Anna spots a black case right in front of her.

"She's got a case. I'm sure it contains the crown." She says.
The Mercedes keeps gaining on the bike. Its a four lane highway on the bridge The rider rides on the second lane from the left and the Mercedes follows on the third lane from the left.

She aims closely and fires a single shot at the tyres of a vehicle right in front of the Mercedes, causing the driver to loose control.

He drives into a nearby gas truck causing a huge explosion. Anna quickly pulls herself back into the vehicle. With a great wall of fire separating them now?

The riders eyes widen as The Mercedes rushes through the wall of fire with speed.

Duke speeds up once again and gains in on the rider. Realising this, she looks over the bridge, down at the water and Anna gets exactly what she's thinking.
"She's gonna jump off the bridge." She screams once again to Duke and takes out her rope gun.

Duke closes in on the motorbike, enough for Anna to take the shot.

Anna aims at the case and fires at the same moment the rider gets in motion of riding off the bridge mid-air. The rope coils itself around one of the two handles of the case, snatching it away from the falling criminal whose face is covered with a black mask except her wide open eyes. She hits the water with a splash and Duke hits the brakes, causing the Mercedes to screech to a halt.

Anna quickly pulls over the case and heads to the side of the bridge. Down below in the water floats the rider, looking up at her with furious eyes.

"C'mon. We gotta go." Says Duke. They head back to the Mercedes and drive off, leaving the bridge with a messed up traffic.
