Previously on AISHA
Aisha and Duke after bringing down the headquarters of the NYPD, set out to find Luigi. They infiltrate the warehouse full of thugs in search of Luigi.

CHAPTER 25

"Pitin pitin!!" The bullets sound as they make their way through the air to the overturned wooden table, behind which Aisha takes cover. After a few rounds of firing, they cease fire and slowly walk closer to her position.

Realizing this, she takes out a grenade and throws it over to them. One thug upon seeing it, runs forward. Aisha with both magnums in hand, sends him flying back to the others with four bullets that sink into his chest. He falls backwards, right on top of the grenade and it goes off with a BOOM!!! as the others fail in escaping the explosion.

Duke fires a bullet right into the head of his first kill who stands on a crate high above him. His body falls to the ground with a thud!!!

Another comes out behind him with a pistol, ready to fire but duke quickly turns around, grabs the barrel of the pistol, and points it up high at another thug, the same moment the gun weilder attempts to shoot. Two bullets fly straight to the groin and he falls with a heavy thud.

Duke now kicks the thug in the stomach, causing him to bend and with a heavy knee kick, knocks him out right in the face.

Aisha performs a front flip over a crate and in mid air, brings both knees down unto the chest of the thug who stands behind the crate. He falls backwards and she lands on him with a crack. She can't tell whether it's bone or wood. But what does she care. She points the magnum in her right, directly to the thugs face and puts a bullet right through his forehead.

Another shows up right behind her ready to fire. She quickly lies backwards on her already kneeling legs and fires two bullets. One finds its way right into the head of the thud and the second goes right between the thighs, straight into the chest of a second thug that stands right behind the first.

She sits back up on the dead thug with a smirk on her face.

She spots duke in a distance, taking cover behind another crate as bullets fly his way.

He doesn't seem to get the chance to fire back. A few meters behind him, another thug prepares to put a bullet right through his head from behind. Aisha upon seeing this, aims her magnums at the target and fires but is disappointed to realize she's out of ammo. There is no way she can make it to him in time. The thug moves closer and closer to duke who hides behind the crate, totally unaware of the danger that lurks behind him.

The thug moves closer and closer to duke who remains unaware of the threat and positions his AK47 right to the head. Slowly he reaches for the trigger and kraaack!!! the gun sounds.

Luigi rushes out the office into the corridor looking for an easy escape route. He continues to look back as he runs faster and faster. Sounds of gunshots can be heard from a distance and the building shakes as every explosion occurs. All around, there a pieces of broken walls and ceilings. Dust fills the air and the lights twitch.

He bumps into one of his men as he takes another look back.

"Luigi, we're under attack." The thug says.

"How did the cops find us???" He questions him, totally ignoring his statement.
He holds the thug against the wall and asks once more.

"How did they find us??" He asks once again. More aggressively this time.

"There are no cops boss." He answers.
Luigi's facial expression changes to that of confusion.

"If they aren't cops then who are they??" He asks. "Who threatens us??" He asks still holding him by the shirt.

"It's one ninja lady and a pizza delivery guy." He answers in fear.

"You mean to tell me that some random pizza delivery guys just walked in here and started exchanging bullets with my boys? Causing all this chaos and alarm?? And you couldn't take care of it??? HUHH???" He asks.

"We're working on it boss." He assures.

"Listen to me you imbecile. You better eliminate them, before the cops get hear. Else......I'll kill you myself." He finishes in a soft tone. "Get outta here!!!'" He commands and takes out a golden plated revolver.

Duke's heart skips a beat as the sound of the gunshot beats right behind his ears. He quickly swirls around to find the thug right behind him with his gun pointed to him.

The thug remains silent for a few seconds before dropping down lifelessly.

Duke looks at the lifeless body and then looks around. It is there that he finds Aisha with her FN MINIMI in hand, looking at him from a long distance.
Sweat drips down his face at the thought of almost dying.

As Aisha looks at him from a distance with her face covered in worry, a bullet finds its way straight into her right shoulder, pushing her off the crate, straight to the hard concrete floor.

Duke's heart jumps at the sight. This is not possible. It can't be. The very thought of her dying angers him. Adrenaline surges through his veins moves him in ways he never thought he could. He picks up the AK47 from the dead thug and jumps out of hiding, spreading bullets in all directions.

The bullets find their way into the bodies of the remaining thugs, draining the lives out of them. One thug decides to attack but duke catches a glimpse of him and introduces a high kick to his jaw which puts him in a spinning motion and lands his spine on the edge of a crate with a crack. Another attempts to fire but duke shoots a bullet right his thigh, causing him to go down on one knee. Duke quickly runs towards him, and penetrates a bullet into his right eye.

He surveys the area and finds one more thug taking cover behind a wooden barrel.

"One more to go" he says with a frown.
From the angle at which he stands, there is no possible way to shoot him. He looks around in the high places and finds another wooden crate bound in chains right above him.

He smiles to himself, aims at the chains and fires a single shot. The bullet flies directly to the chain and disconnects it from the crate. The heavy crate drops down with speed right unto the thug with a "spruck" as it breaks into pieces.

Now that they've all been dealt with, he quickly rushes to Aisha who sits, leaning on one of the crates.

"Hey! Hey!! Hey!!!" He exclaims upon reaching her.

"I'm here. Look at me. Breathe. Cmon breathe!!!" He says with a sad look. Tears begin to fill up his eyes.

Aisha groans as more blood oozes out of the wound on her left shoulder. Duke rips the left sleeve of his shirt and ties the up the wound with it. Aisha groans in pain.

After tying it up to stop the bleeding, Aisha groans.
"Your gun.......give me your gun." She mouths out the almost silent words.

Duke doesn't hesitate and hands over his pistol to her.
She takes it and aims at one of the crates that have been storeyed. She fires a single shot and one thug from the seven storeyed crate falls, landing on another crate that completely dismantles.

"He was annoying me." She says in a voice. Duke bursts into laughter, having enough evidence that she's gonna be alright.

"I thought I was gonna loose you." He says. Aisha sits up and looks at his face confused. Although she pretty much gets the idea.

"And just what are you tryna tell me me. Mr???" She asks.

Duke remains silent, opening his lips and shutting them in attempt to find the right words.

Aisha keeps his eyes fixed on him and suddenly, out of the blue moon, in a split second, she finds duke's lips on hers.

She opens her eyes wider than she ever has in awe of what has just happened. She tries to fight it but realizes she licks the will power.

After a few seconds of conflict with herself, she gives in and submits to the kiss, rubbing her hands all over his back and through his hair. After a few minutes of kissing, she looks straight into his eyes and questions.

"Are you willing to be tied to me throughout all this??"

Duke remains silent. He bows his head for a minute or two and then looks back on her eyes.

"This life of adventure, I think I can handle it."

She smiles at the answer and then kisses him once again.

"It's not over yet. Let's find Luigi." She says. As they get up, more thugs swarm into the room. Aisha and duke look at each other and smile.
