"Y/N!" Jisoo greets as she walks into your apartment, smiling eagerly. She pulls you into a hug and you widen your eyes for a second before hugging her back. "How have you been? How are things with Hobi?" she immediately questions.

Oh... that...

You bite nervously onto your lower lip before shrugging your shoulders.

This causes Jisoo to pause, immediately eyeing you down with widened eyes.

"What happened?" she immediately questions.

You scratch the back of your neck as you avoid eye contact with her.

"I haven't seen him in a while..." you respond.

"How long exactly?" she questions.

"Can we talk about this after we talk about what I called you over here for?" you ask. She tilts her head to the side.

"I could've sworn you were going to talk to me about Hoseok..." she states before shrugging. "But sure, we can talk about that after you tell me what you want to tell me."

"So, you don't have to say yes." You immediately state, causing Jisoo to arch an eyebrow while staring over in your direction. "But... my therapist and I had an idea that we think is going to help me in the long run with my depression and anxiety without having to take medication."

"Okay..." she says, her tone raising towards the end of the word, indicating that she wants you to be more specific.

"Why do I feel like I'm about to propose or something?" you say before laughing and shaking your head.

"Um... I'm not sure but you better not be." She states while laughing.

"I'm not!" you say before taking a deep breath. You speak rapidly, wanting to get the asking part over with already. "Will you be my roommate?"

She remains quiet as she stares over at you. Eventually, she crosses her arms over her chest while eyeing you. After a few seconds, a wide smile finds its way onto her face and she eagerly nods.

"I've been wanting a roommate!!!" she exclaims before pulling you into another hug. "So, duh! Of course, I'll be your roommate!" You let out a sigh of relief before hugging her tightly.

Oh, thank goodness.

You pull away from the hug and nod your head.

"Alright, let's get planning then!" you say before stepping away from her, starting to walk towards your coffee table to get a pen and notebook. "First, we should decide whose apartment we're going to stay in, then we should probably figure out the rent situ-"

"Not so fast." Jisoo speaks up. "You said after I give you my answer, we'll talk about Hoseok. So, what the fuck happened?"

The smile drops from your face as you hear this. Biting onto your lower lip, you shrug one shoulder, letting out a soft sigh.

"I haven't talked to him in about six weeks." You state. She widens her eyes.

It's true. It's already been six weeks since the last time you saw him on that flight.

"Did he fucking ghost you?" she questions, eyes wide with anger as she stares over at you.

"I honestly don't know..." you mumble before shaking your head. "We were talking about getting a plan set up for us to date once the flights were done. He said he was going to talk to his manager about figuring out how we can see each other. He didn't give me any signs that indicated he didn't want to be together anymore... he even said he loved me the last time I saw him." You state.

"Then what the fuck happened?" you shrug as she asks this.

"Namjoon said that I should give it about four weeks before I assume that BigHit doesn't want me dating Hoseok anymore." You respond. "For him and his partner, they had a plan put into place within three weeks. He said to give it four weeks before I worry because of COVID. You know, in case it makes the planning process slower." You state.

Pressing your lips together, you let out a soft sigh as you're reminded of the heartbreak you had been going through the past week.

By week five, you were still hopeful, assuming that COVID really did slow down the process.

By the end of this week? You went ahead and assumed the plan was a no-go.

"Didn't you just tell me a few weeks ago that he gave you his hoodie and a teddy bear?" she questions. You nod your head and shrug a shoulder.

"Yeah. I still have them." You respond. She lets out a soft sigh before shaking her head.

"I refuse to believe he's ghosting you right now." She states. You let out a soft laugh before shaking your head.

"Trust me, I don't want to believe it either but my thoughts are that BigHit was so scared because of what happened with the sasaeng incident that they're not allowing Hobi to date me." You respond. "I wouldn't be surprised. They're BTS for crying out loud, there's no way they'd risk one of their biggest groups getting stalked again."

"It would make sense but what if COVID is just slowing everything down?" she questions. "I'm sure there's a more logical explanation for this."

"Even if there is, Namjoon said I won't be in contact with them until there's a plan in place." You respond.

"I'm sure that's all bullshit and if you texted Hobi right now, he'd answer you." She says before lunging towards your kitchen countertop. She grabs your phone and immediately goes back to where you're standing.

Holding the phone directly in front of you, she lets the Face ID unlock your phone.

You, in shock, immediately try grabbing the phone from her.

"Jisoo! Don't do that! What if he'll get in trouble?" you question. She ignores you and immediately begins scrolling through your texts, finding Hoseok's contact name and dialing the number.

You continue to chase her around your apartment as she continues to dodge every attempt you make at grabbing the phone.

She puts it on speaker and you hear the ringing tone on the other side of the line.

"See? If they didn't want you seeing him, don't you think his agency would be smart enough to give him a new phone number?" she questions as it rings.

I guess she has a point.

You stop chasing her when she says this and merely stare at her. Listening to the ringing tone, you grow quiet as your heart speeds up.

"Hi, it's Jiwoo. Sorry I couldn't answer the phone right now! I'll return your call as soon as possible."

Jisoo's shoulders drop as she hears this and she immediately hangs up the phone, looking over at you. Your shoulders drop and the last bit of hope you had drops. You press your lips together before shaking your head.

"I told you." You respond before holding your hand out, silently asking for your phone.

She hesitantly puts the phone back onto your hand and you hold it up, nodding.

"This is why I didn't want to get my hopes up." You respond before stepping towards the coffee table. Sitting on the couch, you grab the notebook and pen you were going to grab earlier. "Now, can we talk about becoming roommates so I'm not thinking about him?" you question. She nods and steps over to you, sitting down next to you on the couch.

"Sure." She lets out a soft sigh before she speaks again. "Going back to your first question, I think we should move into your apartment building together. My neighbors are annoying and always complain." You nod your head.

"Okay! I'm also friendly with most of my neighbors here anyway. I even babysit one of my neighbor's kids." She nods her head before she starts thinking.

"So, how will we get out of our rent contracts?" she questions.

"For the sake of us traveling all the time anyway, I say we just stay in our current apartments until they expire, start a new contract about a week before our rents run out. Does that sound good?"

"I didn't even think of that!" she says before nodding her head. "We'll probably end up in hotel rooms across the world for the rest of our rent contract anyway."

The two of you continue to make plans to move in together for the remainder of the day.

Luckily for you, it takes your mind off of the Hoseok situation... if that is still a situation in the first place.

You're not entirely sure what's going on with Hoseok at the moment.

Is he just avoiding you because he's not sure if you want to be involved in his lifestyle? Possibly.

Is he not into you anymore and didn't want to hurt you? Could be, but you're sure he would rather break up with you instead of leaving you hanging.

Are BigHit's higher employees upset with you because of the sasaeng situation and are forbidding Hoseok from seeing you? A definite possibility.

Last but not least, is it just that COVID caused the plan to be put off even further because of BigHit focusing on refunding the ARMY who had a concert cancelled? You hope that it's just this.

Regardless of what it is, you're certain that continuing to worry about it won't help your anxiety at all and instead decide to focus your energy on moving in with Jisoo. On top of that, you decide to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kang to talk your feelings out and prevent from triggering your depression or anxiety with this situation.

As Jisoo comes up with ideas of how to decorate your apartment, you're thinking about these things and zone out for a second.

Yeah, I'll just talk to Dr. Kang and make sure my mental health is good.

I can use this second period of time away from Hoseok to help myself.
