You're now staring down at your phone while standing in the airport.

The boys have already left to go to their hotel and the pilot is already waiting in line at one of the coffee shops in the airport. You're the only one still standing by the gate where the boys left.

No other passengers have shown up at this gate for the next flight yet.

Biting onto your lower lip, you stare down at your phone before mustering enough courage to call your boss.

One ring.

Two rings.

"Hello?" you hear on the other end.

"Hello sir, it's Y/N." You say while anxiously biting onto your lip.

"Hi Y/N." your boss says on the other side of the line. "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing well. How are you?" You hear him chuckle on the other side of the line.

"I'm doing fine. I do have to admit though, I was pretty worried when Big Hit gave me a call about an obsessed fan issue going on." He says before speaking again. "My first question is: are you safe and okay?" he questions. This causes you to smile softly.

"Yes, sir. I'm okay." You respond before shrugging your shoulders. "I'm so sorry about the inconvenience of this whole situation."

You hear a laugh on the other line.

"Y/N, we knew what we were getting involved with when we agreed to be the airline in charge of getting BTS around." He states before letting out a soft sigh. "The only thing we didn't expect was that our employees would also be getting harassed. We are terribly sorry if any of those crazy fans traumatized you."

You let out a soft sigh.

"I'm not traumatized. I just want the boys and me to be safe and well-protected."

"Based on what Big Hit told me, the best solution for the meantime is to let you take your few weeks off to go back home and relax so you aren't at risk of being in danger." He says before speaking again. "That being said, they're still determining how long to do this for." You nod and your heart sinks. You were hoping they had already decided on that part so you could at least count down the weeks.

"Okay." You say quietly.

"We're going to get you on the next available flight back to Korea so you can head home." You nod your head. "I'll send your boarding pass to your work email so be on the lookout for that. Do you have any concerns or questions about this situation?"

"Will I continue being their flight attendant once this situation dies down?" Your boss grows quiet on the other side of the phone. You hear him letting out a soft sigh which makes your heart sink further into your chest.

That's a no.

"I'm assuming you still can and Big Hit is optimistic about it as well. However, I can't give a definite answer." He responds. "Let's just say, as of right now, the likelihood of you still being their attendant after this is about 75%."

Better odds than you thought.

This relieves you slightly.

"Okay. Thank you for giving me an estimate, sir." You say before speaking again. "What time is my flight home?"

"In about an hour."

"Sounds good. Thank you."

"You're welcome, Y/N. Again, I am so sorry about this whole situation. If there is any way we can compensate you for the trauma that this has caused, please let me know."

Based on how he's speaking, you can tell he thinks it's a little worse than it actually is. He probably thinks a crazy fan tried sneaking onto the plane or physically harmed you. This is a bit more extreme than some fans banging on the car you were in and following you for a bit.

"Um... actually, there is something I would like if that's possible."

"Well that depends on what it is."

"Would you be able to give another employee the same time off as me? You know how I don't really have anyone at home waiting for me. It would make it easier for me to not get anxious about a crazy fan trying to find me if I had a friend with me to make sure I'm safe." You say.

You knew that the sasaengs didn't get a picture of you or see your face in the car. However, you also know these people and what they're capable of. It's better for you to be safe than sorry.

"Well, surely one employee using vacation time wouldn't be an issue. However, you would need to talk to the employee first and get them on board with the idea." You already knew Jisoo would be okay with it.

"Okay. I'll give her a call then have her call you if she agrees to it." You respond.

"Sounds good. Again, I'm so sorry about this incident, Y/N." he says.

"That's okay, it's not your fault, sir." You respond while smiling softly. It's moments like this where you're grateful for the kind of boss you have.

"Have a safe flight home, Y/N. Let me know if you need anything and I'll get ahold of you if I find out anything else from Big Hit." You nod your head before grinning to yourself.

"Okay, thank you." You say before hanging up and checking your work email on your phone to find your ticket. Once you see the email and get the ticket saved onto your phone, you begin making your way towards that gate as you dial Jisoo's number.

One ring.

Two rings.

Three.

"Hello?" you hear Jisoo's voice finally.

"Hey!"

"Y/N! Any updates on the sasaeng situation?"

"Yeah. Turns out I need to take my break and head back home."

"Seriously? That's how bad it was?"

"It wasn't actually that bad but better to be safe than sorry, right?"

"Yeah, I agree with you there." She says before speaking again. "So, since you're taking your break, I'm going to give our boss a call and let him know I'm taking my break at the same time." She says, which causes you to smile at how good of a friend she is.

"Speaking of that..." you say. "I actually asked him about it and he said as long as you're okay with it, he's already approved of it and you would just have to let him know."

"Sweet! That makes the process much easier." You let out a soft laugh as she says this. "So, does that mean I can take off as long as you're off? Even if you're on break for weeks?" You shrug.

"I never really got confirmation of that because I wanted to make sure you were down with it first." You state.

"Y/N, it's Jisoo you're talking to. We always take our breaks around the same time." She responds. "I'll ask him about that. I know he'll probably say yes considering how protective he is of you." You roll your eyes when she says this.

"Protective?" you question.

"Well, yeah. I mean, he knows your home life and probably feels guilty. Your mom did pass away two weeks before you started working here and even with that, you still never switched shifts with anyone or complained." She states. "You didn't get this promotion to work as BTS's flight attendant for no reason, you know. He thinks you deserve it." You shrug a shoulder before glancing up at the signs in front of you directing you to your gate.

You continue walking while on the phone with her before you make it to your gate.

Once you arrive at the gate, you nod your head and make note of the nearest bathroom and fast food place.

"I'm at my gate now. You should probably get ahold of him now so he can get you on a plane soon so we get there around the same time. I'm flying in from America." You state.

"Okay, sounds good. Have a safe flight. I'll call him right now. Talk to you later!"

"Bye!" you say before hanging up and tucking your phone away in your bag.

You make your way towards the nearest bathroom and get into a stall. Locking the stall behind you, you start changing out of your work clothes into your comfy clothes to wear on the plane.

Once you finish this, you tuck your work clothes into your bag and make your way out of the stall.

Arriving at the mirrors in the bathroom, you reach for your makeup remover and immediately take your makeup off for the day. You do a quick and simple skincare routine to make sure you're ready to relax on the flight home before letting out a soft sigh as you see yourself in the mirror.

You look pretty tired and you can see the worry in your eyes.

You really want this situation to resolve itself quickly. Not just because you want to be around Hoseok but also because you don't want the boys to have to get used to a new flight attendant. There are many crazy people out there and seeing the sasaengs in person made you realize just how dangerous it is for the boys to have new staff.

You're hoping they do a detailed background check on the next person to assist them on their flights.

Biting onto your lower lip, you convince yourself to relax and trust that your boss is doing the best he can to keep the boys safe.

"Hoseok-ah, will you calm down?" Seokjin nags. "I'm sure she's fine and is just on her flight home right now. You're making me get worry lines from stress."

Hoseok laughs at this, already knowing that Seokjin is using his scolding as a way to make him laugh.

"He's right." Namjoon says as he gets off the phone with Bang PD. "He said that she just called her boss and was sent her flight ticket home. She's fine, Hoseok."

"See? Nothing to worry about." Yoongi says while looking up from his phone to make eye contact with Hoseok.

"But when she gets back, she has no one to go home to. She'll be in her apartment alone." Hoseok responds. "You know they're going to try to find her."

"Hoseok, the sasaengs didn't even see her face." This causes Hoseok to give the other members a 'seriously?' look. "Listen, if they were going to figure out who she was, they would've already done it by now and you know that." Seokjin reassures.

"Exactly." Namjoon agrees. "Now, calm down. You're making Jungkook and Jimin nervous." He says while gesturing towards the two. They're sitting on the couch, Jungkook staring at the other members discussing you with wide eyes and Jimin anxiously running his fingers through his hair as he hunches over, staring at the floor.

Hoseok looks over at the two before nodding his head and taking a deep breath.

"You're right." He says to reassure himself. He then puts a bright smile on his face, returning to his normal comforting self.

"I've never seen him like that." Jungkook mumbles to Jimin. "He's always the least worried in the group... it's just scaring me." he says.

"I know." Jimin mumbles back.

"Y/N is probably sleeping on the plane." Hoseok reassures.

"And her boss said that he gave her friend permission to take off work to stay with her. She won't be alone." Namjoon confirms.

"Are her bosses legally allowed to disclose stuff like that to us?" Yoongi asks while arching an eyebrow as he stares over at Namjoon.

"Well, considering her company is technically working for us right now with these flights, yes." Yoongi shrugs before nodding his head.

"Just making sure." He responds.

Hoseok nods his head and lets out a relieved sigh at the thought of you not being stuck alone these next few weeks.

"I just want her safe."

"And she wants us safe too, Hoseok. Trust me, we're all fine." Namjoon responds.

I've been streaming the music video for Yet to Come all day lol.

In honor of this incredible comeback, I figured I'd post a chapter to celebrate!

A few questions: what's your favorite new song on the album? And what's a song on the album that you haven't listened to in a while that made you really excited when listening to it again?

For me, I love For Youth. I love all three new songs but that one just hits me right in my heart strings. And this album made me appreciate Born Singer. I had only heard it a few times before. After hearing it on the album again after a long time of not listening to it, it made me grow to appreciate that song way more than I did before.
