You're now anxiously waiting at the gate for the boys while biting onto your lower lip.

God, I hope everything is okay.

I hope they're not in trouble for leaking that song title to me.

You glance over at the coffee shop to see if Yoongi is there.

But to no avail, he's not.

Sighing, you reach for your coffee and start taking more sips of the caffeinated beverage.

"Could sure use one of those." You hear a voice near you, causing you to look up at the person speaking. You raise your eyebrows when you see that Bang PD is standing in front of you.

"Oh, hi, sir." You say before setting down your coffee and giving your best polite smile. Gesturing towards the coffee shop you just looked at, you speak again. "That's where I got mine. There's no line so it should be quick." He nods his head before glancing over there.

"Ah, I'll be sure to do that after I have a word with you." This statement causes you to raise your eyebrows as you stare over at him.

"Oh... of course. What did you need to talk to me about, sir?" you ask.

He lets out a slow sigh, which causes your stomach to drop.

Oh no.

It's happening. I'm getting fired from being their flight attendant, aren't I?

You gulp as you stare at him, anxiously awaiting for what he's going to say.

"We have a problem."

"What's the problem?" you immediately question.

"When you came to set the other day, we had something bad happen."

"On set?" you question. "For Run?" he nods.

"The sasaengs outside got a view of your car and now they're trying desperately to figure out who was in the car."

Your heart drops.

"Oh my gosh..."

I'm going to be mauled to death.

By a group of crazy people.

"Thankfully, we were able to prevent them from tracking down any information about who was in the car. However, this creates some issues with your relationship."

You stare at the man, heart speeding up as you grow more nervous with this conversation.

"Am I fired from being their flight attendant?" you immediately question. "If it means that'll make everyone safe, I can."

He pauses for a moment, thinking about your idea.

"I don't want to say that you're fired, Y/N." he says. "To be fired, you would've needed to do something bad like leak personal information or mistreat the members. So no, not fired."

"So...?" you question.

"I think until we're able to settle everything with this sasaeng situation, you should take that flight break that you chose to put on hold. It's the perfect timing to use it and it gives us time to lead the trail away from you."

You glance down at the monitor in front of you that you use to check guests into their flights.

Biting nervously onto your lower lip, you nod your head.

"Okay." You respond.

"I'm so sorry about this, Y/N. We just let our guard down a little. The last time we were in America, we didn't have to worry about security as much because the media didn't give them as much attention as they do now."

You smile softly and shake your head.

"There is nothing to apologize for. I'm proud of them for getting the recognition they finally deserve. I just want all of them safe."

"And they feel the same about your safety."

You smile softly and nod your head.

"I'll inform my boss that I'm going to take the time off after today's flight."

Deep inside, however, you can feel your loneliness creeping back in.

Knowing that you won't be able to be around Hoseok for however many months starts eating away at you.

"Thank you for being so understanding." He responds. You smile softly and nod your head.

"Thank you for telling me what's going on." You respond. "I was getting really scared about why Hoseok and I couldn't spend time together... I thought that you were mad at me or didn't want him being with me."

He widens his eyes for a second before he bursts into laughter.

"What? You really thought that?" You stare at the man, a little taken aback by his laughter.

"Well... yeah. Namjoon spoiled a song title to me the other day." You blurt out before you grow quiet once you realize you shouldn't have said that.

Oh fuck... I just screwed myself over, didn't I? What if he didn't know about that?

"Oh please, Namjoon spoils everything." He says before letting out a soft laugh. "The fact that we know you didn't leak that information to any public sources really tells us that you're a reliable person who can be trusted."

You smile softly.

"I wouldn't want to risk doing anything to hurt Hoseok's career... or any of the other members' careers. I know how much they love what they do." He nods.

"By the way, you don't have to call me 'sir' every time you talk to me." he randomly brings up. This causes you to nod your head.

"Sorry, I just wasn't sure." You say before scratching the back of your head.

"The boys just arrived so they should be up here soon. Thank you again, Y/N. I'm going to get a coffee." You nod your head and watch as he makes his way towards the coffee shop.

You bite onto your lower lip and take a deep breath before sighing as you think about how lonely it's  going to be while you take your break. Immediately reaching for your phone, you decide to text Jisoo and see how her schedule is going to be for the next few weeks.

Y/N: when is your next break?

Jisoo: I'm taking my time off in two days.

Y/N: think you can get a flight home again? I don't really have a choice and have to take my time off.

Jisoo: aw, no Hoseok for a few days? I'll see what I can do, I got you 😊

Y/N: might be a little more than a few days... I'll spill the details when you can get here

"Ah, texting on the job?" you hear a voice saying, causing you to look up and see Taehyung smiling childishly at you. You let out a soft laugh before shrugging.

"I'm not technically on the clock until that plane gets into the air." You say while gesturing towards the plane sitting outside of the terminal. Taehyung glances over at it before letting out a soft laugh.

"Very wise with your time, huh?" he jokes before gesturing behind him. "Listen, Hoseok is very nervous about something." You arch an eyebrow as you hear this.

"Is it the situation with sasaengs?" you question, causing Taehyung's eyes to widen.

"Did Bang PD tell you?" you nod. "Ah, he beat Hoseok to it then... oh well, less stress for him."

"But more stress for me." you say, referring to the possibility of the sasaengs trying to stalk you or murder you. Taehyung looks up at you again, licking his lips before shaking his head.

"We'll make sure you're protected."

"Not when I'm not going to be on the next flight." You say, causing his eyes to widen.

"He fired you?" he asks before immediately turning around, ready to yell in Bang PD's direction. You immediately stop him by speaking again.

"No, he didn't fire me... we just thought it'd be smart if I distance myself from you... just until this dies down." you say. Taehyung looks at you with concern in his eyes. "By the way, don't tell Hoseok about my time off, please. I want to be the one to talk to him about it."

"You know, even if our manager suggests something like that, you don't have to listen."

"But I want you all safe."

"We can be safe with you still stewarding our flights."

"I don't want to risk it."

"Well, we don't want you being by yourself for too long." He says before furrowing his eyebrows as he stares over at you. "Y/N, we worry about you. We know how horrible being alone feels. We know what it can do to your mental health. You're family, we don't want you falling into a bad place just because you think that's what's going to keep us safe."

"I already handled that." You say before gesturing to your phone. "I texted Jisoo and she's going to try to meet me at my home city and we're taking our time off around the same time."

"But what happens if she has to go back but our manager says you still have to wait before you can join us again on flights?" he questions.

Hoseok told them about how I fall into a bad place when I'm stuck in cities by myself for too long.

They all care about me.

"We don't want you putting yourself into a depression. I can get Namjoon to talk to our manager." He says while pointing back in the direction where Bang PD is. "We can figure out a better solution."

"No, we can't." the next member is now approaching the counter and it's Namjoon. "Taehyung, I don't want Y/N being alone either but at the end of the day, this is Y/N's decision. You can't blame her for being scared of what sasaengs are capable of. We've seen them do some crazy things."

"Y/N's safety should be priority." Jimin speaks up.

Everyone nods their heads at Jimin's statement.

The rest of the members look at you.

"They can't physically force Y/N to stop being our flight attendant... at least, I don't think they can." Namjoon states. "But Y/N does need a break anyway. She's been dealing with our annoying selves this whole time." He says jokingly.

You let out a soft laugh and shake your head.

"None of you are annoying." You respond before letting out a soft sigh. "I think I can handle a few days or weeks off without being lonely, guys. At least Jisoo can be with me for a bit before she decides to go back to work and she wouldn't leave me when I'm at a low point."

The boys nod before glancing back as they see Hoseok entering.

"Remember, don't tell him. I want to be the one to talk to him about it." You immediately say. The boys nod before glancing over at Hoseok.

"Oh, here comes lover boy. We should give them some alone time." Yoongi immediately says to draw any suspicion away from what you had been talking about with them. Hoseok hears this and rolls his eyes, smiling widely.

"Aish, call me whatever you want. I'm happy." He responds before stepping closer to the counter and looking at you. "Hi. I'm sorry that I haven't been able to see you in person. I can explain." He says before giving an apologetic smile. You smile softly.

"Your manager already told me what happened. I'm so sorry if I created any unwanted media attention because of sasaengs." You respond. His smile turns into a shocked face, his lips forming into a small 'o' shape.

"Oh no. You didn't cause any unwanted media attention. We get that even if we were to lock ourselves in our dorms and not leave." He says before shrugging. "I just wanted to give you a little space because I know that some of our fans tend to be very... protective." He emphasizes.

"More like creepy." You respond, causing him to shrug. He can't deny it but doesn't confirm it also seeing as how none of the boys would be where they are right now without the fan base. "I haven't had any weird things happen to me though. Your manager said they didn't see who was in the car on the day of the Run taping so I think I'm safe for now." You state.

"Good. I'm glad none of them have tried threatening you or trending any disturbing things." He says before sighing softly. "The downside of this is how I won't be able to take you out on real dates for a bit until the sasaengs find something new to obsess over."

"About that..." you state which causes Hoseok to widen his eyes a little.

"Are you breaking up with me?" he immediately questions. You shake your head, causing him to place his hand on his chest, face and body relaxing when you do this. "Oh thank goodness."

"I just talked with your manager and we think it might be good for me to take my time off from flights just to make it easier on you all." You say. "I don't want all of you being scared of sasaengs ruining your tour."

Hoseok tilts his head to the side before nodding his head.

"Do you know how long?" you shake your head, causing him to frown a little. "But you're not going to quit being our flight attendant, right?"

"I don't think so... not unless I'm forced to by my boss or your manager."

"Bang PD wouldn't do that. Besides, Jin has more power than him ninety percent of the time." He says while pointing back at Jin, who holds up his hand, giving you a wink.

"I will change the name once I get the chance to. Jin Hit forever." Jin says from where he's standing. This causes you to let out a soft laugh while shaking your head.

"With Jin and the rest of us having a lot of influence on Big Hit, we wouldn't let you get reassigned to commercial flights again." You smile softly when Hoseok reassures this.

"Thank you."

"Of course." He says while smiling softly down at you. "I'd kiss you right now if I could."

"We can on the flight." You say while smiling cutely up at him. This causes him to nod his head and smile.

"Be ready then." He says before giving you a quick wink and making his way back to the other members.

I'm back from the week long hiatus I took due to some negative people attacking me in my comments. Thank you for being patient with me while I took the time off for my mental health.

However, while I was gone, there was a really, really devastating event that happened. There was a shooting at a Texas school. Dozens of children were killed, along with some teachers who were trying to protect their students. My heart goes out to the families who have been affected by this shooting.

To lose a child or multiple children in a school shooting, the one place where we should feel that children are safe, is the most terrifying thing. I hope there are changes made in the future to prevent this from happening again.
