You wake up a few hours later from your cat nap.

Stretching your arms up, you let out a soft sigh before quickly hopping out of your bed to get ready to explore what Las Vegas has in store for you.

You get dressed into a pair of shorts and a regular t-shirt before quickly making your way out of your hotel room, locking the door behind you.

As you leave the hotel, you see the many tourists exploring the casino floor, hopping from slot machine to slot machine in an attempt to win the grand prize.

You glance around yourself, tempted to take a picture on a slot machine.

Nah, I'm sure there's more here than just this.

You quickly make your way out of the casino and are met with a crowded sidewalk.

If you didn't know better, you'd compare the amount of people here to the amount of people walking the streets in New York. However, you know that New York has far more people than this. At least here, there's some shoulder room as you walk in the crowd.

Looking around, you admire the signs on the different places.

You're suddenly distracted once someone taps on your shoulder.

You look over to your side and see one of the street entertainers next to you.

There's two showgirls smiling at you.

You immediately scan their outfits before your jaw drops.

They're walking around with huge feathers on their backs attached to their bras. Their bras are covered in sparkles and they're wearing only underwear, legs on full display along with a little bit of their bottoms.

I wish I had the love for my body that these girls do.

You smile at them.

"Hi! Is this your first time in Vegas?" you nod your head at their question. "Would you like to take a picture with me in front of the fountains?" she questions while gesturing to the large body of water behind them.

The body of water has some spots shooting out water to the beat of some music playing in the background.

You immediately nod your head.

"Hell yeah!" you say before immediately reaching into your pocket to grab some money. "How much will the photo be?" You question.

"However much you want to give." She says while smiling.

"How's $50? It's hot out and I bet this can get hard." She stares at you for a few seconds, in shock that you're offering that much.

"$50? Are you sure?" she questions. You nod.

"I work in customer service and it's a pain in the ass." You say before gesturing to the other people near you who are impatiently rushing you to take the picture with them so they can have their turn. "I can't even imagine how much harder it is doing this because you have to deal with the heat as well."

She smiles widely at you before nodding her head.

"Yeah, but whatever it takes to pay the bills right?" you nod your head in response to her question. You hand her the cash as she reluctantly takes it. "Okay, what angle and pose would you like?" she asks, ready to cater to you.

"Can you do a pose where you use both of your hands to point at me?" you ask. "Kinda like the girl on that one American show... what's it called... Wheel of Fortune?" she nods her head, giving a sly smile.

"Ah, I know the one." She says before nodding her head. One of her coworkers takes your phone to take the photo of you two standing together.

You smile widely and gesture to her in the same way she does with you. This causes her to let out a soft laugh.

The other girl takes about five more pictures before giving you your phone.

"Thank you so much." You say while she hands you the phone.

"Any time." She says with a smile.

"Enjoy your stay in Sin City!" the one who posed with you says while giving you a wide smile and a wave as you start to continue walking on the path towards the shopping centers.

You give her a quick wave before smiling and turning around as you tuck your phone back into your pocket.

I like it here.

You're now entering one of the other hotels, one that has a lot of statues around the first floor.

You walk around and take pictures of the beautiful scenery before making your way down the path.

As you turn the corner, you're met by thousands of stores. It takes you by surprise as you see how many there are.

Holy shit... it's good that this tour stop was after I already paid my bills. I can't imagine how much damage I would've done if I had my fresh paycheck.

You shake your head to yourself before going right to the clothing and souvenir stores.

Walking around the stores, you immediately pick up the things you're interested in, not even hesitating to purchase some of them as a souvenir for this trip.

You smile widely as you look around at the beautiful scenery in this building.

No wonder everyone loves Vegas. Plenty of entertainment, lots of alcohol, and more slot machines in one room than I've seen in my hometown combined? I'll take it.

Heading to the counter, you place the items you want to buy on the counter, immediately going to get your credit card.

"Y/N?" you hear a voice behind you, causing you to tense up.

You look behind you and pause as you see a tall man wearing skinny jeans and a black t-shirt.

"Oh my gosh! Y/N!" the man exclaims as he rushes towards you. You try to hide your disappointment as you give a smile.

"Uh, hi, John." You respond. He scratches the back of his neck, smiling down at you as he stands directly in front of you, his height towering over yours.

"How've you been? I haven't seen you since graduation!"

You shrug.

"I've been good. I got a job as a flight attendant, so I've been travelling the world." You respond before handing the store clerk your credit card to ring everything up as this man annoys you.

"That sounds incredible!" he says enthusiastically, causing you to nod.

"Yeah... it's alright. A little tiresome sometimes."

"I've been good, I'm still doing photography. What brings you to Vegas?" he questions. You shrug.

"Just one of my layovers. I'm stewarding for a group of flights so I'm just exploring."

"I live here now, actually." He says before gesturing around. "I know things didn't end well with us but I'd love to show you around if you'd like me to!"

You bite onto your lower lip, immediately becoming hesitant at his offer.

"Um, I'm not too sure about that, John." You respond.

After all, considering what you went through with this man? To say this whole encounter is uncomfortable is an understatement.

He was a guy who flirted with you during your entire college experience. It led you to having an on-and-off type of deal where you would only talk whenever both of you were lonely or horny.

However, when you decided to take him seriously as a potential boyfriend, he agreed to the date and ended up cancelling.

You tried two more times and each time, he was too busy with his fraternity brothers to make time for you.

It didn't help that he didn't even give you his condolences for your mother's passing even though he claimed to be your "friend."

You really think I'd give you a chance right now? After all of that?

You immediately shake your head.

"Why aren't you sure?" he questions. "I know we didn't end things on the best note but I want to make it up to you."

"If you did, you would've gotten ahold of me prior to seeing me now." You respond. "If you want to make my Vegas experience better, recommend a good place to get drinks and then leave me alone. You had your chance."

He stares down at you, guilt swirling around in his irises before he licks lips, nodding his head.

"There's a place here. Go to the High Roller which is that huge Ferris wheel, and there's a bar there where they give out huge drinks. Just make sure you're safe." He responds. You nod and then glance at the clerk, taking the bag filled with your souvenirs along with your credit card as you shove it back into your wallet.

"I'm here with some friends. I'll get ahold of them before I drink." You respond.

Ah, yes, Y/N. Perfect lie. You're saying BTS are actually your friends.

"Okay..." he says before shoving his hands into his pockets. "You have my Instagram. If you need anything or get lost, let me know."

As if you'll even answer. I bet you still don't even know that my mom passed away.

You nod your head before looking away.

"Sure." You say before letting out a soft sigh. "I'm going to continue shopping around. Nice seeing you." You lie to his face, causing him to stare at you as you walk away.

You shake your head to yourself.

And to think that everyone told me that I won't ever see anyone from high school or college again once graduation is done. Bull.

You walk past a Gucci store and head straight to a store you had never heard of before to continue shopping.

*-> *-> *-> *-> *-> *-> *-> *-> *-> *-> *-> *->

You're now at the bar that John had recommended to you.

Turns out, it isn't even a bar.

It's a store you walk past while exploring one of the famous tourist attractions.

Everyone leaving this store is holding colorful, three-foot long cups of alcohol.

Ah, no wonder you recommended it. Still drinking like a frat boy.

It's now your turn in line to get a drink.

You order one of their most popular margaritas, thanking the cashier as he hands you the large cup.

You stare down at it, wide-eyed at how large it is.

So this is why there's so many drunk marriages here.

"Excuse me, can I also have some nachos?" you question, knowing that you'll get too drunk if you don't have something else in your system to help you process the alcohol.

The cashier nods and starts a new order for you before handing you the nachos as you exchange some cash for them.

You hold the nachos in one hand, the drink in the other, and have your bag hanging from your shoulder.

"Thank you!" The cashier nods and you make your way out of the crowded area before looking around as you wonder how to get back to your hotel.

I turned right to get here so I have to turn left to get out.

I guess as long as I see those same showgirls from earlier, I'll know I'm on the right path.

You make your way out of there and then look at the large signs of the casinos.

You scan the names of each one before seeing yours as you immediately head towards that direction.

After about 30 minutes of walking, you're back to your hotel room and are sweating from the dry heat in this city.

Letting out a sigh of exhaustion, you take a sip of your drink immediately, noticing that it's frosty texture is now slightly melted.

Well, at least I got to explore.

You make your way up to your room while continuing to sip at this drink.

Oddly enough, it doesn't even taste like there's any alcohol in it. That most likely explains how they're able to give out such large drinks without anyone getting alcohol poisoning.

Once you get to your room, you put the drink and nachos on the bedside table and plop your purse onto the bed before making your way to the bathroom to wash your hands so you can eat.

You start chowing down on the nachos while drinking the alcohol as you browse the different TV stations here.

You eventually come across one you like and keep it there as you eat.

Before you know it, only minutes later, you've devoured the drink and the nachos are gone.

You still don't feel anything hitting you for a few more minutes until your face grows hot from the amount of alcohol you drank.

Oh shit, I shouldn't have finished that.

You immediately reach into the mini fridge by your bed and grab a bottle of water, chugging it immediately in an attempt to dilute the alcohol in your stomach.

Unfortunately for you, this doesn't work and you end up blacking out later on in the night.

*****
For those of you who don't know, I actually went to the BTS PTD LA show on day 4. I've posted a story about it on my profile and also have videos of the concert on my Instagram (same username as here @/jxngkookisdaddy).

I hope all of you are doing well and are healthy and happy.

I'm still trying to figure out how I want this story to end. I have a lot of pre-written chapters but I still don't know how I want the story to end. Now that the concert is done and my work load isn't as big, I'm going to try finish pre-writing once I get a spark of inspiration.

I purple you.
Kim 💜
