In the cockpit of the plane, you bite onto your lower lip while peeking your head out to see the seven boys sitting in their seats. You inhale a deep breath, attempting to contain your excitement.

"You ready?" your coworker questions, fixing her uniform. You look at her and see her not even looking at the boys as she prepares for the speech you give far too often before every flight.

"Yeah..." you say, your voice drifting off towards the end as you eye her, curious as to how she isn't excited about the fact that you're on the same plane as BTS.

She's probably not an ARMY.

You bite onto your lower lip before adjusting your uniform as you step out from the cockpit of the plane. Your coworker follows behind before standing beside you. She puts her typical flight attendant smile on her face as she gets ready to start talking.

You avoid eye contact with the boys as they look up at the two of you. Instead, you stare at the back of the plane while doing the same thing as your coworker.

The video about the safety rules and emergency procedures begins playing as you and your coworker smile and gesture towards the seats, the trays, and the safety kits under the seat.

Once you get into the zone of explaining everything, you forget who you're explaining to until you look at one of the passengers and meet eyes with the one and only J-Hope.

You instantly grow nervous and your eyes widen a little mid-demonstration. This causes you to drop the life vest. Your coworker glances at you before giving you a soft pat on your shoulder as you pick it up from the floor.

While bending over to get the life vest, you look up at J-Hope.

You watch as his face turns worried immediately as he looks up at you. His eyebrows furrow a little and his head tilts to the side.

You gulp before giving him a small smile.

Upon seeing you smile, his facial expression changes. He grins back at you before giving you a thumbs up. You glance at Jungkook who's sitting next to him.

Jungkook gives an encouraging smile as well, causing you to take a deep breath and stand up fully once more.

You get back to doing the demonstration until it ends before giving a polite bow at the men in front of you. Your coworker does the same and you notice how all of the ones who were sitting near J-Hope are eyeing you.

Jungkook, RM, Suga, and J-Hope.

All staring at you.

You nervously turn around and make your way back to the cockpit to sit in your seat and buckle your own seatbelt as the flight continues.

"I don't think I've ever seen you mess up with the number of times I've done a flight with you... is everything okay?" she asks while looking at you. You look at her while leaning back in your seat before letting out a soft laugh.

"I mean... we're being flight attendants for a plane that BTS is flying on." You state. She merely rolls her eyes before pointing at you.

"That. That right there." She states before peeking her head out to get a glance of the men. "To me, they're just boys who happen to be rich, talented, and nice. Not saying they're not special, because they are, but I've been an attendant for them before and they like being treated like you would treat a normal passenger." She states.

"Oh, I know. I'm just a little nervous because... they're kind of the reason I'm doing well recently with my mental health." You state while shrugging your shoulders. "I just... their music helped me a lot. I'm practically in the same plane as my role models." You state. She lets out a small laugh.

"Well, what I can tell you is you got chosen for this flight because you treat your customers well and earned it. Prove to yourself that you can be a good host to them too." She states. You sigh before nodding your head.

"I just hope I don't accidentally spill their drinks on them later." You state while laughing. She shakes her head.

"I've seen you serve drinks even when there's turbulence and that's never happened. Don't jinx yourself." She states before gently shoving you. You let out a soft laugh and nod your head before glancing over at the light that's now turned on. "Well, looks like now is your opportunity to prove that you're a good host." Your coworker says.

You merely roll your eyes with a smile on your face before nodding. You slowly unbuckle the seatbelt before adjusting your uniform.

You make your way towards where the boys are and walk towards the one seat that has the light on.

Once you get there, you see Hoseok looking up at you with a bright smile.

"Hi, miss." He states before gesturing towards the menu. "Is it okay if I order something to eat?" he questions.

"Of course!" you state before smiling at him and trying your hardest to keep your cool. "What would you like?" you ask.

You wait for a few seconds patiently as he makes up his mind.

However, you notice after a little longer that he's no longer looking at the menu.

He's now looking at you.

You bite onto your lower lip. He blinks after a few seconds.

"Oh... sorry." He states before shaking his head. "Um, can I have some water?" he questions. You nod your head.

"Of course. Regular or sparkling?" you ask.

"They have sparkling water on our flights now?" Jimin speaks up. "Wow, we're really getting the special treatment." He says before smiling up at you. Hoseok merely laughs before gently nudging Jimin.

"You know what? Now that Jimin mentioned it, sparkling." Hoseok responds to you. You nod your head before giving him a small smile.

"I'll go grab that for you." You state. As you turn around and start walking down the narrow aisle of the plane, you hear Jimin making fun of Hoseok behind you.

"You called her over here for a water when you have one in your bag?" Jimin questions Hoseok. "Really, man?"

"Shut up, I forgot I had a water." You hear.

"That's a total lie," Jimin continues to tease. "I know why you're doing that."

The argument causes you to lift your eyebrows while you let out a soft laugh to yourself.

You make it to the part of the plane where the beverages and food are stored. Once you get there, you grab a can of the sparkling water and cup before making your way towards where Hoseok was.

Smiling at him once you make it there, you pour some of the sparkling water into the cup up to the designated line before placing it onto the cup holder of his seat.

"There you go." You say with a smile. "Is there anything else you would like?"

"Yeah a-" Jimin starts before Hoseok quickly wraps his arms around Jimin over the seat. Hoseok hugs him tightly while placing one hand over his mouth.

"Please excuse Jimin-ah," Hoseok says while giving you a smile before looking at Jimin and giving him a death glare. "We're fine, thank you, miss." You glance at the boys and take note of what each of them is doing.

Namjoon is listening to music, unaware of what's going on. Yoongi is napping. Seokjin is playing video games with Jungkook. Taehyung, in the meantime, is watching the interaction between Hoseok and Jimin while covering his mouth as he silently laughs.

You ignore that before looking at Hoseok.

"You all can call me Y/N, by the way. You don't have to address me formally, okay, sir?" Taehyung stops laughing and lifts an eyebrow, smirk still on his face.

"You don't have to call me sir, Y/N." Hoseok says. You nod your head before shrugging your shoulders.

"Okay. Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else." You state. Taehyung nods his head before looking over at Hoseok, lifting his eyebrows suggestively.

You get a weird feeling from it, almost as if they're mocking you for dropping the life vest.

They probably are mocking me. It's not every day where you see a stewardess dropping shit on the floor.

You make it back to the cockpit where your coworker is and plop onto your seat next to her, covering your face as you let out a frustrated sigh.

"Oh shit, what happened?" she asks.

"I'm pretty sure they're making fun of me because I dropped the life vest earlier." She scoffs while rolling her eyes.

"I doubt they're laughing at you for that. They don't seem like the 'asshole celebrity' type." She states before shrugging. "I bet one of the boys did something stupid and they're just making fun of them, not you."

You nod your head, trying to reassure yourself as you relax.

"Besides, you're stuck with them for another 10 hours." She states. You glance down at your watch before nodding your head.

"That's very true, probably shouldn't spend all those hours overthinking or feeling embarrassed, right?" you ask. She nods her head while grinning at you.

"Exactly," she shrugs her shoulders. "we have to hand out their blankets in about an hour or two anyway, so the next 8 hours or so should consist of them sleeping." You glance out of the airplane window and nod your head as you see the dark skies outside.

You nod your head.

"Might as well try to relax in the meantime because I don't know what it is about those guys but I get nervous."

"I know what it is. It's because they're BTS." She responds. "Now, try to take some deep breaths or something before we have to pass out the sleep gear, alright?"

You nod your head before adjusting the seatbelt that's around your waist, starting to get comfortable in your seat.

Right when you're about to relax, the flight attendant light in front of you turns on.

You look up at it and let out a soft sigh.

"Right when I was about to-"

"I got this one. Chill out." Your coworker states before getting up and making her way towards the side of the plane where the guys are at.

This flight is going to feel like a 24 hour flight.

And here's chapter 1!

I'm currently about to start on chapter 28. I'm hoping to try finishing writing it soon so I can update more often.

Now, onto what's going on in the world:

In LA, 3 people were killed at a homeless encampment. I don't know many more details but I figured that I would spread the word about it.

There's been a lot of shootings. These are getting more and more common lately. It's incredibly sad knowing that there are so many different places being targeted. I've seen so many articles about places having shooters and it's so depressing.

Please stay safe whenever you go out even if it's just going to work or school. Make sure that you say something if you see anything suspicious. Also, always know the nearest exit just in case. It's better to be safe than sorry always.

I hope all of you are doing well. I can't believe it's almost June. This year has been flying by.

Eat well, stay hydrated, and don't forget to take care of yourselves.

Borahae.

Kim ❤️
