May's POV

I didn't expect to wake up this early after yesterday. What happened yesterday seemed impossible . Me having a conversation with Lance . Seemed impossible. But the impossible came true. I decided to get dressed when the alarm went off.

"Paladins! We are under attack!" Allura shouted through the speakers. As Keith dashed out with his jacket, I dashed our too. While Coran was being over dramatic over the mic , I realised that Lance wasn't out of his room. Can this guy get anymore troublesome?

"LANCE! GET OUT OF THERE!!!" I banged the door as hard as I could. "Good morning pretty," he smirked. "Who you calling pretty? Allura needs the paladins!" I shaked him till he finally got the message. He changed into his casuals as I waited for him impatiently . As soon he was ready , we went to the so called ' HQ'. "Do you know how long we have been waiting for you?" Oh boy...

" Do you know who has failed today?" Allura said. I pointed to me and Lance. What ? I was waiting for him! Allura and Coran were repairing the ship's defences and wanted to test the paladins in the process. Well , I want to help. So , I'll follow. I may not be a Paladin , but I'll give what ever I got.

Voltron had to train to be Voltron. Yeap. Pretty much crazy stuff. As I watch them 'train' I got bored. "Allura , can I use the training deck?" I asked. She nodded in reply as I smiled with glee.

I asked Coran to help me with the training. Since I was only capable of a bow and arrow , he taught me hand - to - hand combat and long -range attacks. After that we began with training on long range attacks. It was my strength. We began by learning how to shoot the target properly and how to shoot moving targets.

2 1/2 hours have past. Aren't they done yet? I was lying on the floor , pretty much dead. After the break , I had to learn defense. However , they were coming back. So I needed to escape to not let them know about my secret training.

After I left the training deck , I went to the 'HQ' . "Allura , is it okay if you teach me how to use the castle defences? " I asked.

"Sure. " She begin to teach me the basic arsenals in the castle such as the particle barrier and the main guns. I did that for quite awhile until my eyes were about to close. "Thanks Allura. I think I have my foundation to help. " I walked out of the door, all sweaty and exhausted from today's activities.

As I washed up, I thought on what happened yesterday. I dissed Lance and complimented him , he praised me for looking better without my glasses , and opening up to me the fact he actually learns Korean. It was alot to take in for me I guess. I at first thought that I disliked him. But now , I started to be okay with him.

I walked into the dining room, assuming the gang was having his dinner. "For the last team building activity , you have to feed each other while handcuffed!" Coran exclaimed. "Um. Coran , can you at least let them eat normally ? They are seriously tires and over working could cause them to fall ill! " I said worried. "Come on . One last exercise won't hurt them!" He denied.

As I sat opposite them , I was trying my best to hold in my laughter . Keith's hand was in Lance's food and Hunk having a hard time eating the food goo. "Do earthlings ever learnt to stop complaining?" She asked in irritance. "We don't . Is just that we get lethargic easily ," sweat dropped from my head.

"We are not your prisoners to toy around with! " Keith stood up. As Coran reprimanded them for their behaviour , Pidge did the unexpected. " Oh, the princess of what? We're the only ones out here and she's no princess of ours!" He spoke. *Splat!*

"Oh it is on!!!" And we started a food fight. "Justice will be swift , Justice will be painful. IT WILL BE DELICIOUS!" I screamed as we fought with food goo . Green substances were flying around like asteroids and the room was filled with cheer and laughter.

As the team and I looked at each other , we laughed. "DO YOU ALL SEE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE?" Oh boy....

"You all are finally working together!" Allura praised. OMQ . I thought we were going to get our butts kicked. "You guys thinking what I'm thinking?" "Let's go form Voltron!" "Yeah!"

"Well. I thought about getting dessert but yeah!!" Hunk added on. "Mind if I watch?" I asked. I always wanted to watch it form in front of me. " Not at all," Lance answered. "Thanks."

As I watch them change from their original form , I was awed by the transformation into a robot!!! I may not be a Paladin , but Im glad that I came along for the journey.

Well , I may not be a Paladin , but hey , Im making an effort to save the universe.
