After you had gone to the nearest town to get baby supplies you and Airachnid washed the baby. You both had decided on naming him Ethan. Once he was washed, fed and changed he fell asleep. Since the nursery wasn't ready you decided that he should sleep in your bed. Airachnid, as always, was sleeping in your bed with you while she was using her holoform.

The first half of the night went good. Ethan slept pretty well. But around three in the morning he woke up and started screaming his head off. You and Airachnid instantly woke up. You carefully picked Ethan up and started gently rocking him. 

Meanwhile, Airachnid went to go get a bottle of formula ready. When she came back to your shared bedroom she saw that you had calmed Ethan down a little. She got back on the bed and handed you the bottle. Ethan took the nipple of the bottle in his mouth as soon as you offered it to him.

"Are all human sparklings that loud?" Airachnid asked you.

"Yes, but they grow out of it after a while." You said as you tried not to yawn.

Ethan finished drinking the formula out of the bottle fairly quickly. Once he was finished Airachnid took the bottle from you and went back to the kitchen. You grabbed the burp cloth off of your nightstand, put it on your shoulder and burped Ethan. You were a little surprised when he let out a fairly loud burp. By the time Airachnid got back to your shared bedroom you had gotten Ethan to fall asleep again.

You carefully placed him back on the middle of the bed after Airachnid got back on the bed with you. You kissed her before you both laid down again and fell asleep.
