One day when Airachnid had brought a strange device to the cave she started trying to figure out what it did. When she accidentally pushed one of the buttons a bright light filled the cave. One that made you have to cover your eyes. When the light went away and you uncovered your eyes you saw the device laying on the ground. And you saw a tiny version of Arachnid laying next to it.

You quickly ran down the stairs and across the ground to get to her. When you were right next to her you were surprised that she was only about the size of a human toddler. When Airachnid opened her optics and saw you she screamed and curled up.

"There there, I'm not going to hurt you." You said softly.

As you looked at Airachnid you realized that she was crying. You had never seen her cry before. So you tried to calm her down. When you picked her up she continued crying. You started to slowly rock her back and forth while whispering comforting words to her. 

After a few minutes she stopped crying and fell asleep. You didn't want to turn her back to normal. But you knew that it was the right thing to do. You carefully put her back on the ground before you stood up and walked over to the device. You covered your eyes as you pushed the other button.

A few minutes later you opened your eyes and saw that Airachnid was back to normal. You then went back to your house. When she woke up she didn't remember what had happened.
