Lately Ethan had been trying to say his first words. You and Airachnid would always encourage him to talk, but so far he hadn't actually said any words. Right now though you, Airachnid and Ethan were in the kitchen. Ethan was in his high chair while you were getting him something to eat. Ethan saw what you had chosen and he wrinkled his nose.

"Alright Ethan, time to eat." You said as you brought a bowl of mashed carrots over.

"Ewww!" Ethan said when you tried feeding him the mashed carrots.

Both you and Airachnid were shocked at Ethan's first word. You expected it to be mommy or momma, but not ewww. 

"Then what would you like to eat?" Airachnid asked Ethan.

Ethan pointed to a banana that was laying on one of the counters. You saw where he was pointing and you went to go cut the banana into little slices. Meanwhile, Airachnid put the mashed carrots into the refrigerator.
