What is "love"..?

This thing humans called "love" is something that will make you feel happy all the time.
That's what some people tell me.

But i still don't understand.
Because.. I've never felt anything like that before.

This thing they called "love". I want to know what is that..

" Kurokocchi!! "

Kuroko jumped by the noise. He liftes his head to see guy standing in front of him with a wide smile, Kise.

" What? "

" Let's eat lunch together! " He said with full energy.

" I didn't take any money. " Kuroko answer and laying back to his desk.

" Then I'll treat you. " Kise lay his head beside him so his face is really close to Kuroko. But Kuroko doesn't reacted.

" You don't have to. " Kuroko answer almost quickly.

" Pleeeeeease.. " Kise put on his begging eyes. It honestly didn't move Kuroko at all but Kuroko think it is better to give in because he don't think that Kise will give up just like that.

Kuroko sigh and stood up.
" Fine. " He said with a bored tone in his voice.

" Thank you, Kurokocchi! " He followed him from behind cheerfully.

This guy is Kise. You see.. He is very clingy. Plus, he "love" me. That's what he said.

No matter how many time i think about it again, i still don't know why did he love me

Flashback

Kuroko was carrying a bucket full of water. The bucket is pretty big so it is a bit hard for him to lift.

When he was walking downstairs, he lost his balance and the bucket fall from his hand. Surprisingly, the bucket landed on somebody's head, it is Kise.

Kise lift the bucket up from his head and saw Kuroko. His eyes locked on Kuroko's face.

" Are you okay? " Kuroko ask.

Suddenly Kise hold both of Kuroko's hand.
" Please go out with me! "

Flashback end

It's not like i don't want to return his feeling.
He is a kind person but like i said.. I don't know how to.

After they had their lunch. They both walk towards the library, because Kuroko said he want to do his homework. While Kise, only following him around like how he always did.

They both take their seat where there is nobody around. Kuroko finds it more calming like that. He could focus more like that.

He start doing his homework slowly. Kise just keep staring at him and sometimes look at what he's writing. Then, Kise realized that Kuroko stopped writing.

" Do you need my phone? You can search it on the Internet. " Kise said offering his phone.

" No. I'll look for information from books in this library. " He said as he walk away from the seat to look for the book. Kise followed him from behind which didn't even surprised Kuroko.

Then he saw the book he needed. But, it is too up high. If Kise know, Kise will take it for him. Kuroko doesn't like that, he want to do things by himself.

He casually take a chair near him and climbed up.

" Is there any book you want to take? " Kise ask him, Kuroko try to ignore him.

But, the chair is not high enough. When Kise realized what Kuroko wanted, he help him take it. Which brought them into a pretty awkward position.

Kuroko's back was touching Kise's stomach. Kuroko was looking up while Kise look down. They looked at each other for a while before Kise opened his mouth to say something.

" Sorry, Kurokocchi. Can i kiss you? " Kise said with a soft voice.

Kuroko blinked a few times.
" I don't mind. " He answered calmly.

Kise pulled Kuroko down from the chair and pushed him until his back was touching the book shelf.

Kise slowly approached his face. Their lips touched softly. Then Kise pulled his face back quickly.

" U-um.. Is that your first kiss? " Kise ask with a tin blush on his cheeks.

Kuroko nodded.

Kise sigh in relief.
" Um.. What did you feel when i kiss you? " Kise asked while smiling nervously.

Kuroko stare at him with a blank gaze.
" I don't feel anything. " He answered simply.

" Oh.. I see. " Kise smiled but Kuroko could see that he is hurted.

" I'm so sorry Kise. I think you need to find somebody else after all. Because, i don't think i could love. " He asnwer while looking away from Kise.

" N-No! I can't! There's no way i do that! Will you at least give me a chance? " Kise said while holding Kuroko's shoulder.

Kuroko is a bit surprised by that, Kise has never shouted at him before. Kuroko look away, trying to hide his expression.

Kise slowly let go of his shoulder.
" I'm sorry. I'll go home for today. " With that Kise walk away leaving Kuroko.

Kuroko watched him as he take his bag and leave the library.

[Night]

Kuroko was walking down the street towards his house. He finished his homework late because he fell asleep and nobody could wake him up.

Kuroko look around the quite street. It is so quiet without that idiot blonde. If they are walking home together, Kise won't stop babbling.

Kuroko sigh.
'It's okay. I'll meet him again tomorrow.'

[The Next Day, School]

Kuroko walk out from his house. Nobody's there.

'Maybe he's already at school..' He thought as he walk towards school.

When Kuroko reach the gate, he saw Kise. He is about to call out for him, but then there is his friend who approach him and they both walk away.

Even thought Kuroko's sure Kise saw him. But he seems like he is avoiding Kuroko.

[Lunch Time]

Kuroko brought food from house today. He ate by himself in his classroom.

" Hey Kise. What to grab lunch? "

Kuroko lift his head in reflect.

" Sure. Let's go. " Kise answered with a wide grin.

He suddenly feel the urge to stop eating. He close his bento and put it inside his bag. He felt sick all of the sudden.

He doesn't know what is this feeling. He felt slightly empty. He always think that Kise is an annoying guy. Now that Kise is ignoring him, he felt a something weird.

[After School]

Kuroko walk out from his classroom. He hasn't talked to Kise even once today. The school felt so bored today.

Then he stopped halfway.
'I guess he found someone new now.'

When he's thinking about that, someone tapped his shoulder from behind. Kuroko turn around to look at a guy. Seems like he is an upperclassmen.

" Ano.. I have something to say. " He looks a bit nervous.

Kuroko stand there waiting for him.

" I love you! Please go out with me. " He bow to Kuroko.

Kuroko stared at him.

I want to know

I want to know what is love

What should i do to understand?

I'll.. Do anything

" I'll go out with you. " Kuroko answered with a smile.

The upperclassmen cheered.
" I've win the bet guess! Now pay! " He said as he turn around towards a group of people.

Kuroko's face turned blank.

The upperclassmen who saw Kuroko's face, make fun of him.
" Wait, you don't think that I'm really in love with you right? Here this, i'm not gay. Plus, if I'm gay, i won't go for you. There is so many people in this world. You're a freak, who will ever love you? " He laughed.

Kuroko felt his legs weaken. He fall to his knees and just look down.
'Am i not allowed to love? Am i a human? Can somebody tell me please?!'

" Using somebody than couldn't fight you for fun, huh? "

They all turn towards the source of the voice.

Right there, there is Kise with a camera. Seems like he has been filming the whole time.

Then, Kise's face turned cold.
" If you don't want this video to spread. Leave this place and never show your face anymore. " He said glaring at all of them.

They all just brushed it off and leave him anyway.

Kuroko look at him with a surprised face.

" It's okay! They won't bother you anymore. " Kise grin.

Wha.. I'm

I'm an idiot

Kuroko ran towards Kise and tackled him with a hug making him fall on his back. He flinched a bit.

" Ku-Kurokocchi?! "

Kuroko looked at him showing him a smile.
" I love you! " He said loudly.

" Kurokocchi?! " Kise blushed.

Before Kise could say anything, Kuroko kiss him on the lips. Kise push him away lightly.

"  W-Wait! Let me breath. " He inhaled and exhaled a few times.

" Kise-kun? " Kuroko looked at him.

Kise blushed even more.
" Can you please stop being cute for a while?! " Kise scratch his own head harshly in frustration.

Kuroko smile a bit.
" I'm sorry for being an idiot. I've always love you all this time, but i didn't realize it. " He lay his head on Kise's chest and could feel his heart beated so fast.

Kise hesitantly caress his hair.
" I'll love you no matter how stupid you are. " He said.

" Eh? So cheesy. " He said while giggling.

" I only say that for you! " Kise hit him lightly on the head.

They both laughed.

Love is a beautiful thing that will bring you difference feelings. You'll feel sad sometimes, but you'll feel happy after.

You share that feeling with someone you cherries.
You'll find that person someday.
